Work Text:
*Vision walked into the living room of the compound at five-thirty in the morning. He didn't need sleep and he believed he heard footsteps. He found Wanda with a cup of tea, snuggled up in a blanket on the couch, and staring out the window. *
Vision: What are you doing up at this hour?
Wanda: I woke up an hour ago. I thought I'd catch the sunrise.
Vision: The sun doesn't rise for another two hours.
Wanda: I know.
Vision: So you thought you'd just sit here for three hours?
Wanda: No. I woke up, I changed, I ate some breakfast, I made some tea, and now I'm here.
Vision: You had another nightmare.
Wanda: I'm fine, really.
Vision: Do you need some company?
Wanda: Sure.
*She gestured next to her and he sat down. Wanda adjusted the blanket to cover them both and they sat in silence for a while. It was amazing how quickly those two dark hours went, and soon the sky was illuminated in bright colors. Wanda figured her day may not be so bad after all. *
