Cheng Xiaoshi knew the limits to his abilities, and he was more than ready to push them to their fullest capabilities.
This mentality was not fortunate for Lu Guang though as now he had to deal with an unconscious Xiaoshi on the floor. An audible sigh exited his mouth, taking one more look at him on the floor.
“Cheng Xiaoshi!” He screamed into his ear one last time, but he was still unresponsive. After a few seconds passed, he realized that there would be no chance of waking the latter up. Even if he couldn’t wake him up, he at least wanted to make sure that he was comfortable when he eventually woke up.
Lu Guang knelt down, grabbing him by the waist, hoisting his torso up over his shoulders before standing straight up once again. After making sure he got Xiaoshi secured and that he wouldn’t fall, he began to carry him up, carefully, making sure to pause after every step to ensure that he wouldn’t fall off his shoulders.
After ten minutes, Lu Guang exhaled, relieved, as he let go of Cheng Xiaoshi, letting him lay on his bed. He took one more look at him, feeling a bit more overprotective than he would ever like to admit.
It didn’t take long to realize he probably looked creepy staring at him like this, as soon as he made this revelation, he got up, deciding to get the latter a glass of water and Advil for when he woke up.
Once he returned with the glass and bottle in hand, he sees Xiaoshi open his eyes, taking a few moments to process what had just occurred.
“Ow!” Xiaoshi suddenly said, going to hold his head.
“Are you okay?” Lu Guang asked, concerned.
“Headache,” he winced, feeling another jolt of pain.
Lu Guang passed him the cup as well as a few pills from the bottle, “painkillers,” he flatly said.
Cheng Xiaoshi looked at him warmly, smiling, all while swallowing the pills he was given.
“You overworked yourself, no more photo diving for the next week.” Lu Guang stated.
“What-,” Xiaoshi said, dragging on the last syllable, “that’s not good for business!” He retorted.
“It’s not good for you,” he gestured to the other’s current state on the bed.
Cheng Xiaoshi stared at him blankly for a few seconds, before breaking back into a smile.
“Ah, Lu Guang, you always care so much!” He said in a giddy expression, pressing a kiss onto the other’s forehead. Causing him to flush red. “Your reaction is always so cute…” he continued to tease the other.
