Work Text:
*Sirius had been watching for months. He'd seen every stolen glance and every longing stare. He'd watched his best friend fall for his cousin, hard. He'd watched her fall for him as well. He was tired of waiting for one of them to do something. Sure, locking them in a broom closet was a bit extreme, but he had no other ideas. He'd tried everything else to no avail. He could hear them from outside the door. *
Remus: Did you try jiggling the handle?
Tonks: I'm not an idiot, Rem. That's the first thing I did.
*Remus groaned and looked at Tonks.*
Tonks: What?
Remus: This door only locks from the outside! Sirius!
Sirius: Yes?
Remus: Let us out!
Sirius: Not until you tell her!
Remus: No! I can't. You're insane.
Tonks: Tell me what? That he's in love with me? Because I already knew that.
Remus: What?
Tonks: I know. I feel the same way. You can let us out now, Sirius!
Remus: How-
Tonks: You aren't exactly discreet.
