Work Text:

“I wasn’t that drunk.”

“If you were not, then which brat who dares calling his ex and asked him to pick up his drunk ex in the club?”

“I didn’t–”

“Did I even mention your name?”

“Chanyeol, you–”

“Come on, Hyung. You still love him. I know it.”

“Shut up.”

“Tell that brat who saves his ex contact’s name as ‘Call This Number When I’m Drunk’ to shut up instead, then.”

“How do you– Ya! Chanyeol-ah! Shit!”

Junmyeon smacks his phone as he massages his temple after Chanyeol ended their call. He lies on the sofa—trying so hard to recall what happened last night. Calling his ex to pick him up? What kind of nonsense is that?

As he was drowning in his thoughts, he heard the sounds of the opened door.

“Who is th–”

Junmyeon gasps as he sees someone bring in some groceries with him.

It’s his ex. Zhang Yixing.

“How can you get in?”

“Your passcode hasn’t changed.”

Junmyeon sighs. He indeed doesn’t change his apartment’s passcode, either forgot or still couldn’t move on since the passcode is Yixing’s birthday.

“I’m touched that you’re still thinking about me.” Yixing chuckles as he puts down the groceries on the counter.

“I’m not.”

Yixing laughs as he takes all of his groceries and prepares something with it.

“What are you doing in my kitchen?”

“Do I look like I’m going to rob the ATM machine here? What else if it’s not cooking?” Yixing sighs as he wears the apron.

“Having sex like we used to?”

“Watch your mouth, you filthy kink.”

Junmyeon laughs, “It’s been a while since I didn’t hear you curse. But I prefer to hear it when you’re under my dominance–”

“Shut the fuck up or this knife will chop you off.”

Junmyeon smirks as he sits on the dining chair.

“What are you making?”

“A poisonous soup.”

“That’s too honest.”

Junmyeon actually knows. When he was drunk, Yixing would take care of him and clean up the whole mess that he made. Including the hangover soup that Yixing cooked for him the next morning—like at the moment.

Junmyeon approaches Yixing to see what he will make. “What are you doing? Get off!” Yixing slightly slaps Junmyeon’s arm.

“I just want to make sure what things that you’re going to put in there.” Junmyeon answers as he shrugs.

“I’ve told you that I’m going to poison you.”

“Dare to do it?”

“Why don’t I?”

Junmyeon lets out his heavy breath, “Alright you win.” He said as he took an apple from Yixing’s paper bag groceries, biting it a little as he sat on the counter.

“You’re a lot sexier now.” Junmyeon teases as he gazes at Yixing's lower body.

“Bet you regret breaking up with me, huh?” Yixing sighed a smile while sprinkling the salt and pepper.

“Kinda.”

Yixing shakes his head as he stirs the soup.

“Yixing-ah… Why did you come to pick me up?”

“Because you asked me to.” Yixing answers as he tastes his cooking.

“Why?”

“I’ve answered your question. Next.”

Junmyeon chuckles, “I mean, you could’ve just let me in the club. Why would you still care about me?”

“And letting your drunk-ass ran around the club? Teasing the whole people in the club? I won’t let you do-“

“Why would you care then?”

Yixing doesn’t answer as he pretends not to hear Junmyeon’s latest question.

“So you’re still thinking of me too?”

“Well I–“

“I know you do.”

“The soup’s ready! Ah it smells good~” Yixing lifts the pan as he walks to the dining table.

“Being in denial as always, huh?” Junmyeon mumbles as he lands himself on the dining chair.

“What did you just say?” Yixing raised one of his eyebrows as he sat in front of the latter.

The older shakes his head, “Nothing.”

Yixing sighs as he pours the soup into Junmyeon’s bowl. “You have to eat as much as you can. You’re a lot skinnier.”

“What a concern ex.”

“Shut up and just eat it.”

Junmyeon chuckles as he slowly slurps the broth and groans afterwards, “This is the best poison I’ve ever tasted.”

Yixing rolls his eyes as he smirks, “You must be God's favorite knowing that you don’t die after eating my cooking.”

Junmyeon raises his thick eyebrows as he chews the carrots, “If I’m God’s favorite, then you’re my favorite.”

Yixing slightly choked, “What a lame pick-up line.” He mumbles.

The latter places his hand on the chin, “And you fall for that lame pick-up line.”

“I don’t.” Yixing answers as he sips his water.

They’re both silent, only the sound of their clashing spoons fills up the room. Until–

“Yixing-ah. Is there any chance for us to be together again?”

The younger stops eating as he sighs, “We’re already together now. You can see that we’re eating together–“

“As a lover.”

Yixing almost choked on his rice. He lowkey predicted—mostly hoping— that Junmyeon would say that thing.

“Yixing-ah.”

“I don’t know.”

“Why? What things that you don’t know?”

Yixing snuffles, “You. I don’t know you. I don’t understand you.”

Junmyeon furrows his eyebrows, “What do you mean?”

“I don’t think you really want us to be back as lovers again. You just want to fuck me, right?” Yixing sarcastically laughs.

Junmyeon grips Yixing’s wrist, “Wait, what? Yixing-ah, that’s not-”

“You just want me to spread my legs in front of you, then beg you to bang me so hard until I let out my tears? You just want me to please you all day and night, right?”

“Yixing-ah, no-”

Tears start to flow on Yixing’s sparkly eyes, “Let’s just forget about it. We’re nothing but memories now.” He said as he shook his wrist to release Junmyeon’s grip.

“No, I don’t want to–“ Junmyeon pauses as he sees something on Yixing’s wrist.

A dark purple bracelet with a little gold accent. The older was surprised, so the younger was.

Yixing rushes to hide it by inserting his hand in his pocket.

“What is it?”

“Nothing.”

“Give me your hand.”

“No!”

Junmyeon suddenly places one of his legs on the other one, rolls up his pants for a bit.

“What are you doing?”

Junmyeon shows the red bracelet with a little gold accent to Yixing.

“I still wear it, but on my ankle.”

Yixing was surprised for the second time. Honestly, when he took care of Junmyeon last night, he felt a bit disappointed knowing his ex didn’t wear their couple bracelets. Yixing felt unrequited—because deep inside, he still loves Junmyeon and can’t stop thinking about him.

But right now, somehow he feels relaxed. Knowing that Junmyeon still wears the bracelet. Oh, also don’t forget that Junmyeon doesn’t change his apartment’s passcode.

“I didn’t wear it on my wrist because I didn’t want to be mocked. So I wore it on my body parts which were kind of hard to discover.” Junmyeon smiles as he explains.

Yixing doesn’t respond. He’s still on his thoughts.

Junmyeon stands up from his seat, approaches Yixing who’s still zoning out.

“Yixing…”

“Why?”

Junmyeon frowns, “Because I still love you…”

“But why did you want us to break up?”

Junmyeon sighed before he kneels beside Yixing, “I don’t deserve you. You’re a perfect human being. I’m nothing.”

“I couldn’t make you happy when you’re with me. You deserve much better than me.” Junmyeon continues as he holds his tears.

Yixing cups Junmyeon’s face, “Who said that I wasn’t happy when I’m with you? I’m the happiest when you’re by my side.”

“I’m not a perfect human being like you just said. You’re the one who makes me that. You complete me, Junmyeonnie.”

For a few months that he’s been missing, Junmyeon finally hears Yixing calling him that again.

“I might be a liar if I say that I don’t love you. And I might be a fool because my feelings towards you never change. Ever since we broke up.”

Junmyeon realizes that he’s been mistaken. He immediately stops Yixing’s tears by kissing them off.

“I’m sorry. I’m terribly sorry, Yixing-ah.”

The latter nods as he wraps his arms around Junmyeon’s neck.

“Is it true that you still love me?”

Junmyeon enthusiastically nods, “So much.”

Yixing presses his forehead on Junmyeon’s, “Then prove it.”

Suddenly, Junmyeon’s sights went blurry yet focused on Yixing’s plump lips. The red cherry lips of him which Junmyeon has been missing.

“May I?”

“Go ahead before I change my mind.”

Junmyeon chuckles as he begins to press his lips on the latter’s. He tightly hugs Yixing’s waist as he tastes the sweetness of the thing that he’s been longing for.

The older slightly bites so that he can insert his tongue into Yixing’s. They don’t even try to dominate the kiss like they used to. The two of them merely enjoy the pleasurement which they both missed for these past few months.

As the atmosphere goes steamy, Junmyeon slowly stands up as he lifts Yixing while they’re still linking their tongues.

Okay now let’s stop it right there. Let the hangover soup which starts to get cold witnessing their intercourses.
