Halloween decorations
In the middle of the month of October, a supposedly scary day was among to come. It being Halloween. For Yuki Sohma he wasn't one for being scared. Or not believing in the supposedly day itself. Though he was curious about it few times while growing up. His girlfriend Machi was curious of the day too. Under wraps she was eager to dress up for that day. A little embarrassed he was too. Dressing up alongside his girlfriend. The young college freshmen was waiting on her.
"As Momiji has told me, all the good costumes are usually taken by this time." Yuki looked over his watch. Just about to contact her a voice calls out for him.
"Yuki, I'm here." Machi waves her arms at him. "I haven't kept you waiting long?"
He smiles standing from where he recently sat at. Going up to her seeing the bags, questioning her as soon as he gets a kiss from her. Machi's face brightens soon as he leans close. She does the same returning a sweet lovable kiss from him. Once they pulled apart, both their faces were red. Sharing a chuckle among them as Yuki grabs for one of the bags.
"Are we going shopping?"
"I actually went with someone..." She confesses. Scratching her cheeks when giving him the bag.
A little confused he opens the bag. What was inside were decorations. As well as a costume picked out for him. Looking up at her as she shyly smiles at him.
"Honda-senpai, and your cousin went shopping with me, Yuki." She would let him know.
Shocked by her confession he shook his head. Machi thinking she done something wrong takes the bag from him. He stops her grabbing her hands. "I thought today we were going to buy it together."
"I'm sorry Yuki." She bows, her face tinted red. "I was so thrilled to be going shopping but suddenly your cousin suggested we all go together and get your costume."
The former rat mumbled under his breath. His former rival the former cat must had picked out an embarrassing costume for him. Looking directly at him letting out a sigh or two, he rests his head onto hers.
"Did he pick out something disturbing for me?"
Realizing her boyfriend and his cousin had an on and off rivalry since childhood she giggles. Her eyes a little teary figuring why he was a little upset.
"You'll have to open up the bag yourself, senpai." She walks past him. He follows behind gripping the shopping bag in his hand.
During the afternoon they'd go back to her place. Placing few decorations all over her small apartment. She was delighted he was there with her. As well as for Yuki. Few of the decorations were placed outside. A scary welcome mat placed at the front door in the hallway. A sign posted on the door that read Happy Halloween.
The decors outside were taking care of. Machi takes pictures of it. Few with her standing by her doorway, and Yuki by the doorway too. The selfies were sent out to her brother, and to Yuki's family.
Entering the apartment as she wanted it to be decorated as well. He sits on her bed opening the bag. The bag he hid behind her bed was haunting him. Curiously he wanted to see what they gotten for him.
"Can you help me in here too, Yuki?"
"Sure, I will." He stood up from the bed.
Machi happily shows what she had bought. Mostly were streamers. As well as more scary signs. Watching her smiling over a supposedly dumb scary day was new to him. Or new to the couple.
"This is supposed to be hung by the window. Can you help me?" She sets herself on her chair, carefully not to fall over. He holds her legs tightly, watching her making sure she doesn't hurt herself.
"Do you got it?"
"Oh yes, thank you senpai." She looked down at him. A huge grin appearing onto her face.
He looked back returning a kind grin. As well as his face redder. She takes notice he hasn't let her go. Realizing himself he apologizes as he lets go of her legs. Once she got off the chair she jumps into his arms.
"Yuki-senpai is so cute."
In a daze she touches his cheeks. Her fingers lightly touching his cheeks had him jumping. As well as their hearts beating. His own fingers caressing her cheeks as they shared a kiss among each other.
For the past half hour they were decorating the small apartment. Few streamers thrown on the left side and right side of the room. A supposedly lit up skeleton head hung by the bathroom doorknob. Once done their both sitting on the floor. Looking back at his phone Yuki would be needing to go home before nightfall.
Machi sits up looking at him. "Aren't you curious of the costumes we gotten?"
He sits up looking at her. Biting his upper lip a bit nervous. "...Yes."
She claps her hands crawling to where the bag was at. Opening it as she laughs. She tries it on without undressing herself. All Yuki could do was stare in aw. Twirling as she laughs once she's put it on.
"Take a picture of it. How do you like it?" Her face red as she had gotten a red costume.
"You're a kool-aid drink huh?"
"Yes." Machi helps him off the floor. "Now it's your turn to put your costume on."
"I did. And Honda=senpai thought it was hilarious." Machi with a cheery smile. With no shame she gleefully wore the costume.
"So is my costume, next."
"Yes."
