Even the gods knew it. Their lives were intwined and so was their deathS. Their souls and hearts werinseparably bonded, one that not eve Tartaraus could break. So it came to no suprise to anyone that when they died, it was only hours apart.
Percy had fallen of the battle field. The healers were not near enough, but even if they were nothing could be done. Annabeth had craddled his limp dead body while the battle raged on.
Tears stained her face and blood covevered her, but she paid no mind to it. She couldnt hear or even care about her comrades yelling, calling for to fight and protects herself from the swarm pf monsters.
She didnt even notice or care when a dracanea came behind. She didn't pay attention to the blood that gushed out of her new abdomanol wound. She didnt care when her vision went fuzzy then black. All that mattered was Percy. The love of her life. The man dead in her arms.
"Any change in time, We are young again"
They were only in there mid 30s when they died. It may be young for a mortal but they were old for demigods. Dispite their age, when the were together it was like the were 16 again.
He was 16 when he turned down immortality for her, she was 16 when she knew he was the one she wanted to be with forever. For eternity.
"Lay us down. We're in love. We're in love,"
The two shrouds of the fallen hero were burned side by side. Together in life. Together in death.
"In these coming years, many things will change, but the way I feel will remain the same."
Through tarturus, their love remained. Through marrige, their love remained as strong as ever. Through every hardship their relationship stood strong.

Hand in hand, they made there way to the afterlife and they were at peace. Toghther.
