A feather light kiss on her cheek immediately wakes her up, Byleth wakes as she reacts by pinning the other person beneath her before realizing that the other person could only be her very mischievous husband. He grins up at her before gently tugging on a strand of her hair; a favorite move of his from their days at the Academy to get her attention so as to not startle her and get a blade tucked against his throat.
Comforted by the gesture, she releases him from her hold by rolling off of him so that they’re facing each other from their pillows before Claude catches her lips in a warm, semi sleepy kiss that melts her warrior heart.
“So Teach, stay in bed with me?” His beautiful green eyes glint merrily at her as he grins at her. “I want to keep kissing you.”
“Well, I did manage to talk Seteth into taking over my duties today so I believe that makes me all yours for the day, Claude.” Byleth smiles slightly, her heart warm and full as they close the gap between them with a gentle kiss.
