Drunk Sango Part II

Summary:

Sango has another run in with sake again. However, the turn out of events this time are slightly different, resulting in one very chirpy Miroku. This is the second story of the Drunk series, where Miroku discovers the that sake would result in a pleasant surprise privately.

Notes:

The events is different from the canon version! In this version, both couples are married before the final battle with Naraku. Moreover, Kagome was never pulled into the void and sent back into her time! Please bear with me on the changes~ I actually have a some stories based on if Kagome was never sent back to her time or if she had managed to return sooner. Let me know if you are interested to read it :)

Work Text:

“I’m delighted that you’ve decided to stay at our humble place for food.” The village head smiled at the team, “I’ve heard that you are the ones that defeated Naraku? We’ve heard rumors of how he had been terrorizing neighboring villages”

“We were just doing what we can.” Miroku said humbly, “everyone is better off Naraku.”

“That is true!” the host smiled, “I’ve set up two rooms for both of you couples and one extra bed in the hanyao and miko’s for this little guy.” He turned to see the door sliding open and clapped excitedly, “perfect timing! The food is ready!”

“I understand that you’re famous for your pork chop cuisine and fish.” Miroku said as he smiled at the host, picking up a fish with his chopsticks.

“Yes! Houshi samma! You’ve heard right! ” The host beamed produly, “it’s a family secret recipe! We’ve used a special ingredient.”

“This is delicious!” Shippou beamed as he took another bite of the pork, “it’s unlike anything I’ve ever tasted!”

Kagome nodded in agreement, “the meat seems to just melt in your mouth! Don’t you agree, Inuyasha?”
“Keh!” Inuyasha shrugged, “it’s food.”

Oblivious to the conversation among his teammates, Miroku eyes twitched as he watched Sango sway slightly at her seat. He immediately shifted over silently to prop Sango up while turning to the host, “would your secret ingredient by any chance be sake?”

“Such talent houshi samma!” the host grinned as he lifted his bowl of sake, “we marinate our pork and fish with the purest of sake before cooking it over the fire! And just before it gets served, we pour a small bowl of plum sake over it!”

The team immediately tensed as they sent Sango a worried glance. They all remembered what Sango’s last encounter with sake, and none of them are not eager for a repeat.

Miroku chuckled, attempting to mask his unease, “I think Sango’s really tired, maybe we should let her rest?”

“That’s actually a great suggestion.” Kagome nodded quickly, looking at Inuyasha and Shippou who were hiding behind her, “we’ll ask someone to bring some honey water for Sango chan tomorrow.”

Miroku had just laid Sango down on the futon when Sango spoke up, “Miro..ku?”

“Sango, do you have a headache already?” Miroku asked cautiously as he watched Sango for any signs of vomiting.

Instead of answering, Sango threw herself at Miroku.

“Sango!”Miroku gasped in shock as Sango rubbed her head against his chest, his eyebrows flew up into his hairlines when he felt Sango feel up his behind, “What are you doing?”

“it’s payback,” Sango drawled, “for all the times you did that.”

“I’m not complaining?” Miroku choked out in surprise.

“Nah Miroku-” Sango drawled sultry as she ran her hands down his chest, “can we-”

“Yes? Sango?” Miroku swallowed hardly. His inner conscience in battle, he really shouldn’t, since his wife is drunk. But then again it’s not everyday that Sango is the one to initiate their nighttime pleasure activities and it would be wrong of him to refuse.

“Can we well…” Sango smiled sultrily as she drew lazy circles over Miroku’s palm, the one that was previously cursed with the kazaana. Miroku swallowed harder as Sango leaned in to whisper what exactly she wanted to do with him.

“San..” Miroku let out a squeak before closing his eyes in attempt to gather himself, “Sango, you’re drunk”

“But Miroku…” Sango pouted.

Kami! Miroku cursed internally. The gods above must really have it in for him. Was this some form of payback for all his philandering ways?

Whatever power that he was using to hold back broke when Sango tackled him onto the futon with a kiss. Chuckling, he flipped Sango over and pinned her to the ground, he planted several kisses along her neck, while panting, “My dear Sango, when have I ever had the strength to resist you?”

It was almost noon when Sango awoke with her head throbbing. She clutched her head trying to remember what had happened last night. Her eyes widened when she realized that there was a very naked chest that her very naked back was pressing into. She turned around in shock, her head throbbing even more from the sudden movement. Her eyes were met with sleep hooded violet ones as the arms around her drew her closer.

“Sango?” Miroku asked sleepily, “does your head hurt?”

“No-” Sango frowned as her voice cracked hoarsely.

Miroku sat up rubbing his eyes as he held up a bowl next to him, “it’s honey water, the servant left it outside this morning along with some onigiri.”

Sango finished the honey water before asking her husband, “did we drink sake last night?”

Miroku shook his head as he took the empty bowl out of Sango’s hands and placed it on the ground beside him, “but there was sake in the food.”

Sango thought back to what happened last night and her face lit up with a vibrant red tint as she remembered how she threw herself at her husband. Miroku smirked as noticed Sango's blush and asked, “you said your head doesn’t hurt?”

Sango nodded slowly, unsure where Miroku was going with this conversation.

Miroku beamed as he flipped her back onto the futon, “then may we resume?”

“Miroku!” Sango exclaimed in shock trying to get out of his arms.

“Yes, my dear Sango, but maybe a little sultrier” Miroku nodded, “seems like we do need to stock up on some sake in our home.”

“you perverted houshi!” Sango scolded as she knocked him on the head, “we’re supposed to be heading back to Kaeda samma’s village! Everyone must be waiting!”

Miroku sighed as he realized Sango was right. But not giving up, he nibbled her ears, “not even a tiny kiss?”

“Miroku!”

“Hai, hai!”Miroku sighed as he began to redress, his eyes trailed over to Sango who was redressing, “My dear Sango, I could be of assistan-”

A glare from Sango quickly shut him up.

“Are you sure you’re feeling alright, Sango chan?” Kagome asked as she shifted closer to Sango, “we can stay for a few more hours if you’re still suffering from your hangover.” The two women were currently seated on a horse pulled cart filled with gifts from the host.

“That’s a very good suggestion, Kagome samma!” Miroku spoke up from the front of the group, next to Inuyasha, “It is not too late my dear Sango, to turn around and head back!”

“houshi samma!” Sango warned, her face blushing furiously.

Miroku chuckled brightly as he kept up his pace with Inuyasha.

Shippou looked at Miroku with a frown, “He seems chirpy today.” He turned to Sango, “Sango, you’re all red! Are you sure you don’t want to rest for a bit?”

“I’m fine, Shippou”the taijiya reassured the kitsune as she returned to her conversation with Kagome.

Shippou shrugged as he leapt off Kagome’s shoulder and ran towards the men walking up front and climbed onto Miroku’s shoulder. He watched the cart behind them before asking,“Miroku, why did you ask for so much sake from the host?”

Miroku shrugged, “their plum sake is quite renowned and can be sold for a pretty good price.”

“Just as long as you make sure to keep that away from Sango.” Inuyasha replied, “I don’t think Kaeda bachan would take lightly if Sango accidentally destroys the village in her drunk stupor.”

Miroku replied with a thoughtful grin, “I don’t know, this sake isn’t very strong and the taste is quite nice too, wouldn’t you agree, Sango?”

“Hiraigotsu!” was the only answer from Sango as Miroku fell onto the ground hard from the impact.

Shippou leapt to Inuyasha;s shoulders in surprise, “a little warning next time, Sango!”

Miroku chuckled as he rubbed his head, “whatever did I do to deserve that?”

Inuyasha rolled his eyes, “your chirpiness is getting to everyone today, be glad it’s her hiraigotsu and not my tessaiga.”

Miroku sighed woefully, “Ah! The bullying I endure, I should head back to the cart for some sake to appease my hurt feelings.”

The sound of air whipping had him dropping flat against the ground to avoid the hiraigotsu by a mere centimeter. He looked up and smiled innocently at his wife.

Kagome had gotten out of the cart and walked next to Inuyasha, whispering “I think something definitely happened.”

“Most definitely,” Inuyasha nodded, “he smells like a dog in heat.”

“eh?”

“Good thing we’re approaching Kaeda bachan’s village,” Inuyasha said, “cause I’ve had enough of his chirpiness to last a week. In fact,” He chanced a look at Miroku who had climbed onto the cart and yelled back at them, “Kagome and I are heading into the village first! You guys can catch up!” Without waiting for a reply, Inuyasha picked up Kagome in a bridal hug and dashed towards the village.

That evening, Miroku managed to persuade Sango into giving the plum sake one more try and reveled in the pleasantness it resulted in. He was also delighted to discover the next morning that a healthy amount of sake not only added spice to their nighttime activities but also don’t influence Sango’s recollection of the events when she awoke. The delightful blush Sango sported when she recalled the details of their nightly events had him wanting to reenact it. He guessed that a healthy amount of sake is good once in a while.
