Okie, so Me_Paina asked me this: Hello! it's me Me paina! I just have a few question for you, it that is ok? what are the personalities for Nightmare's gang like. Their personalities and quirks. Sorry to ask this but could you explain a little about them. Haha sorry again.
Answer: Absolutely! As for questions you (or others) may have in the future, this is going to be my go-to answering place, since chats are off limits to me due to family rules. Here we go!
Nightmare: Night is basically that one guy who will look you straight in the eye and tell you that he's feeling fine when half of his body has been ripped off. If you manage to gain his trust, he will keep you safe at all costs, and that includes using every last ounce of his magic to keep you alive. He knows and will accept it when it's a lost cause and keeping you alive would only increase the amount of pain you're in before you oof. He isn't the type to tell you what's on his plate, of course, since he doesn't want to worry anyone about himself (carried over from his childhood). He's the type to make it his business to know that you're all right, but he'd only tell you about himself if you pushed him very hard to do so. His boys have taught him to be a bit more open, though. His emotional state is sometimes a mess. Due to being a negative Guardian, I believe that his emotions on the negative side would be a bit more...exaggerated than his positive ones. When he cries, he cries hard. As for quirks, he will become hostile if you walk into the room he's reading in at a good part pf the story. Hostile doesn't really mean attacking, though; it's more like a warning glare that might turn to crying if you don't respect his privacy. If you do interrupt him at a good part, you'd better have a good reason for it. He'll also frequently recommend books he thinks you might like; he's skilled at knowing people's tastes. He's also something of an author himself; he writes about all of the gang's adventures, although he might not ever publish his series..if he ever did, it would be anonymous, of course (the multiverse would go nuts for it).

Killer: Killer's essentially everyone's little brother, while also being the veteran. He's the board game master of the multiverse, and he was trained by his fallen human on how to play board games in between murdering. His favorite is backgammon, but as long as he knows the rules of a game, he'll do his best to win every time, and his best is usually enough, unless someone's cheating (he never cheats and will cry if someone cheats against him). Aside from board games, he likes to run and perform tricks, usually jumping off the roof of Nightmare's house onto a trampoline below (don't do this you could get killed). As for his emotional state, he's been working harder to keep it stable, but if you neglect him, he will backtrack into an emotionless state; he requires constant encouragement. If you come across a sad Killer, do your best to cheer him up; he needs it. The best way to bring him out of an emotionless state is cuddles.
Dust: Dusty is essentially the older brother of the group. He knows how to make the others feel better, and he'll always be willing to sit for several hours simply to listen to their problems. He believes that anyone can be a good person if they really try (except himself because he has no self-esteem whatsoever), and he will try to bring the goodness out of anyone, even if it won't work in the end. His low self-esteem makes him dependent on his brother, howveer, and he will quite literally do whatever his brother tells him to, even to his own detriment, unless it goes against his moral principles. Of course, Papyrus doesn't take advantage of his power over Dusty, only making sure that his older brother is happy. Dust's hobbies are photography and woodworking, and he's skilled in both aspects, but he's not afraid of trying new things..except juggling knives - that's Killer's department. At three feet tall, he's also the smallest member of the gang, but everyone knows his soul, even though it has some medical problems, is large (metaphorically).
Horror: Horror is the most laidback of the group, going along with whatever the others may want happily. He also likes to make puns (less widespread in my multiverse, but still there) and have a good time. He doesn't live in Nightmare's house, opting to stay in his universe, but he makes frequent visits and occasionally stays overnight. He's willing to listen to the others' problems, but with the natural trauma that comes with being from Horrortale, he's more likely to be the one talking. He's a bit self-conscious about the hole in his skull, but he tries not to let it affect him when he knows he's in a safe place. In the event that someone attacks his skull, he'll either break down crying, recalling bad memories, or fight back harder in an attempt to get that person far away from him. The gang will likely go rough on the person who dared to trigger Horror's trauma. As with most Horrors, he likes food. He is also trying to learn how to cook.
Cross: Cross is one of the strongest fighters in the group, and he'll usually be fighting Ink on the battlefield, next to Dusty. Unfortunately, he was both created and abused by the artist, which led to a lot of trauma for the poor skeleton. Chara was also abused when he was alive, and he witnessed Cross's torment under Ink. They haven't always been two halves of a whole, either; Ink literally sliced their souls in half and stitched Chara's to Cross's. Cross is the most likely to wake up from a nightmare in the middle of the "night" (Night's house is in perpetual night) and come running to Dusty (the one who comforts people the most) crying. When he isn't being affected by his trauma, he will be the chocolate-eating happy oreo that everyone loves. He has a permanent stutter, though, but the gang don't bring it up. He spends most of his time training or playing with the others, and when he's happy, everyone else is basically happy.
Error: The final member of the gang is the chocolate-eating glitch boi. Lots of versions of Error portray him as a scarf-knitter, but scarves get boring after a while; this Error will sew anything. He also isn't just a universe destroyer; he's known as a corruption cleaner in this multiverse, and that essentially means that if corruption infects the code of a person or place, he'll save everyone from a painful death and integration into an evil corrupted world. Of course, he can't save every universe, and when worst comes to worst, he will destroy a universe to spare the neighboring ones. There's a sense of a multiverse AU limit, but Ink doesn't create as much as other versions of himself, which means that Error's main concern is corruption. As for his personal life, he lives mostly in the Anti-Void, but he'll spend over half of his free time at Night's house simply to escape the voices. He has a mild fear of touch around strangers, but once he gets to know someone, he'll feel more comfortable; Nightmare didn't give him enough time to develop a full fear of touch before recruiting him. He's probably the most like his other counterparts in that he's obsessed with chocolate and Undernovela, but he's also probably closer to the gang than most other versions. He also won't go too berserk if someone takes some of his chocolate, unless it's Ink, in which case, he will go nuts.
