Chapter Text
The waves crashed over Chuuya’s head, the water’s coldness pressing all breath out of his lungs the instant he was plunged under. Amos’ words rang in his ears like a mockery, “Do you trust me?” It was the last he heard before Amos let him fall into the water, bound, with no control over his limbs. He felt the tug at his back as the rope snapped taut, pulling him under as the boat progressed slowly through the ocean. The pressure surrounding him was overwhelming. It was all he could do to keep his mouth pressed shut in a slim line.
The day had started so pleasantly. He hadn’t suspected anything when Amos had announced it was time for bonding and taken him on a boat trip this morning. It had been a nice enough day, until just now. He scoffed, the curl of his lips giving opportunity to salty water invading his mouth. He shook his head, pressing his mouth shut again, hoping Amos would end this game of his soon. He should have known better than to let his guard down in face of Amos in an entirely too good mood.
The water washed away tears of frustration, the salt stinging his eyes. A sudden jerk and he was pulled upwards and found himself face to face with his grinning captor. He spewed water into Amos’ face, ready to yell abuse. A backhanded slap swiped the ocean to the left, and left him with a ringing in his ears.
Amos’ hand calmly caught his pet’s ankle, stopping its spin. He smirked, “We can safely conclude you don’t trust me yet.” He cupped his pet’s jaw with bruising force and peered into its furious eyes. “Time for more bonding.” And he watched his pet’s plunge into the waves, its look of utter surprise bringing a fond light to his eyes.
Spending time with his pet was always fun to him. His lips tilted into a soft smile as the scenes of today’s morning played before his eyes. He had taken his pet on a boat trip - for bonding as he declared with white teeth flashing their most brilliant smile at it. He had stopped the boat in the middle of the ocean, the water glistening in broad sunlight.

The Gin & Tonic was slowly rocking back and forth in its tumbler on Amos’ chest while he relaxed, arms crossed behind his head, his pet kneeling at his feet, a straw to its glass of lemonade on the table within easy reach - Amos was in a great mood and feeling quite generous. He wasn’t stupid though, his pet’s wrists were shackled behind its back to the leather harness he had insisted on. There was no reason to invite it to another uncontrolled stupidity which it was so prone to. And it looked even better with its skin tinted by embarrassment.
Amos sighed out, arm dropping down on the polster to ruffle his pet’s hair. “Time for our bonding exercise, little one.” The ice cubes in his drink clinked as he put it down and got up to fetch the rope he had set aside for this occasion. Throwing it an amused look over his shoulder, he saw he was followed by a dark and yet curious stare from his pet. Oh he loved keeping it on edge, it brought a special light to its features. “You’re ten times prettier when you’re scared,” voice rich with an oddly amused appreciation.

Ah, it was time. He pulled it up again, leaning over the railing, a curious little smile on his lips. He looked expectantly at his gasping pet, the water running down its drenched fiery tangles. While it was busy regaining its breath, he ran his fingers over the harness’ wet leather, fingernail testing along the already sharp edges with knowing amusement etched into the corner of his mouth, the skin in contact with the leather already red and slightly elevated. He turned his pet to face him with two fingers on its cheek, keeping an eyebrow raised. “Do you trust me, pet?”
