You watch Ali sleep peacefully next to you in bed. He looks like an angel, and he has the personality to match. You love this man. You love the way his eyes light up when he smiles, and the way he treats you with such care and respect.
You delicately brush a lock of his curly hair away from his forehead, and then allow your fingertips caress his soft face. His beautiful eyes start to flutter open. "Hey, you," you grin at him.
"Hi," he says, sleepily. He gently takes you by your arm and pulls you in close to his body, enveloping you in his strong embrace.
You bury your nose into his shoulder, drinking in his intoxicating scent. He's so warm and cuddly that you want to stay with him like this forever. You decide to pull away for a moment to look at his gorgeous face.
He leans toward you, so that your foreheads are touching, and smiles. You feel your heart melting into a puddle.
You reach for his hand and bring it up to your lips. You kiss the long-healed wounds where his fingers used to be, then you lovingly rub your cheek against his hand, causing him to blush.
He presses your hand against his chest while looking into your eyes, and you feel his heart beating. The rhythm is strong and steady, and it reminds you of how happy you are to be alive with him.
You slide your hands around his shoulders and hug him again. You could never get tired of hugging him. He's all you've ever wanted in a partner.
You feel his lips on your head as he pecks you. "I love you," he whispers to you.
"I love you, too," you whisper back. And you mean it with your whole heart.
