The full moon shined bright on top of a building in Paris, France as there was a 17 year old girl with black hair looking up and behind her embracing her waist with his arm was a taller green haired boy with an enormous smile on his face. "The view is absolutely perfect and getting to experience it with the love of my life is even moreso. Nothing can ruin this for me." The girl said smiling looking up.
"How about the fact that if our parents knew that we were here at this time then we both would be grounded until we get married." The boy joked as the girl pouted before being spun around to face him as he held her in his arms. "How about a moonlight kiss if you can forgive me for spoiling this moment for you?" the boy asked as the girl smiled as he leaned in for a kiss but then they stopped as they felt the ground below them rumbling.
"Is this an earthquake?" the girl asked terrified as they looked down and noticed a hole down at the bottom of the building and they spotted the hero Chat Noir down there after having used his Catacalysm on it. The girl ended up losing her balance and was tripping over but the boy held onto her arm for dear life as he did his best to pull her back but the ground was doing as it seemed like the building would crumble.
They shouted down at Chat Noir to please save them but Chat Noir noticed a large brute of an Akuma monster that he had been fighting jump out of the hole and push Chat Noir back. He seemed to be trying to ignore their shouting as if it was annoying him and the monster flew into the sky with wings forming on its body as it flew away.
"Chat Noir; please help us!" The girl screamed finally getting his attention as he looked up unconcerned.
"I am real busy right now trying to stop this beast from devastating the city, I don't have time to waste on you two. Maybe next time stay off the roofs." Chat Noir shouted at them as he was starting to run off in the direction of the monster.
"What? You are a hero... Please... At least catch my better half..." The boy begged as Chat Noir kept running as he looked at their direction.
"Don't worry as My Lady will just bring you back if you get hurt anyway." Chat Noir responded leaving them to their fate.
The boy and girl then ended up falling but then a figure using her yoyo to swing across as if she was Tarzan on a vine and let go as she then used her yoyo to catch them both. The figure then caught them in her arms as she got them on the ground with them facing eachother while tied up.
The boy and girl were relieved to find eachother alright, "Are you two okay? Do you think that you can get to saftey on your own because two casualties during a fight are still two too many." The figure asked them concerned as they looked and were stunned and surprised to find Ladybug as their savior.
"Ladybug thank you so much for saving us, most of all my beloved here!" the boy said giving her a hug before letting go as the girl huffed as she got closer.
"Don't get any ideas because I am not losing my boyfriend to anyone, even if it's a superhero." The girl told Ladybug sternly as she laughed.
"Don't worry; I have my own eyes on someone if you can please keep it between you and me." Ladybug replied as they started to run away.
"Chat Noir was just going to leave us to die..." Ladybug heard the girl say to her boyfriend as Ladybug groaned angrily as she whispered that the darn cat is going to get it now...
Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Luka Couffaine were in an office of the movie studio Zag Productions which was making Ladybug: Miraculous Journey the first officially licensed and endorsed Ladybug movie with Marinette acting as a creative consultant. Marinette were sitted together as on the computer screen they were shown the completed scene of their cameos in the movie by a representative of the studio.
"So what do you think Ms Dupain-Cheng and Mr Couffaine?" asked the representative with a hopeful look on his face as Marinette and Luke shared a look and then both gave a thumbs up to the relieved smile of the representative.
"I will be sure to let Mr Burnn know that the scene has your approval and I bet your adoring fans will love seeing Ladybug and the real one on the big screen together." The representative said with a smile referring to Charles Burnn the film's writer and director who had done some action films but was most well known for his romance films where romances fall apart after secrets are revealed and true colors were exposed.
Kind of appropriate actually...
They said goodbye to the representative as they made their way to the door greeting the passerbys and signing a few autographs along the way. Waiting for them at the door was none other than Chloe Bourgeois with a smirk on her face. "So how did the meeting go my two favourite clients?" Chloe asked as they giggled as since the defeat of Mayura, Chloe had pretty much made herself the unofficial manager of Paris' superheroes.
None of them could deny how effective Chloe was in the role as she and her family lawyers dealt with those seeking sponsorship and endorsement deals with Ladybug with Marinette's royalties going to charity. She didn't need all that money and didn't really liked making so much money off her duty protecting Paris and besides the money that she had earned making designs for the rebranded Style Queen Fashion empire was more than enough.
Her own passion in fashion making her well off was exciting for her. Though it probably did help that people wanted to support their favourite superhero by buying her designs but can't be helped with having a public superhero identity.
Chloe went through organising appearances for Marinette and Ladybug such as charity events and so forth after going through it with Marinette. She even negotiated with the studio that made the animated Ladybug movie that Thomas Astruc when they contacted Marinette to discuss back loyalties.
Chloe definitely fought for a good deal for Marinette and the others in having this movie authorised; not only creative input but it was specifically in the contract that they couldn't use a script without it being approved by Marinette or the designs.
It was nice on her time on the set and plus she got to meet Anouck Vee who was a main star in this TV drama that she watched with her mother who was casted to lead the movie as Ladybug and Bridgette the fictionalised version of herself for the movie.
She was taken by surprise that upon meeting her it was Anouck who became the excited fangirl first and gushed about how much of an honour it was playing the part.
She shared her eagerness as luck would have it her boyfriend Benjamin Papenbrook would be her co-star playing Felix the fictionalised version of Chat Noir. They were hand in hand as they were guests of Nadja Chamack on Face to Face to help promote the movie during production. Benjamin spoke about how his character in this movie was a dark anti-hero who treats being a Superhero as a curse and he only really puts up with it to chase after Ladybug. In their civilian lives Felix is a jerk that doesn't deserve the attention that Bridgette puts into pursuing him.
Nadja knew better that to bring up the real life Chat Noir in an interview and the couple practiced how to answer questions without possibly giving away spoilers.
Like how at the end Chat Noir is approached by Hawk Moth and joins him...
Anouck laughed as Benjamin said that it was a testament to their acting ability on how they acted as being at odds to eachother (as their alter egos) and they had better win awards for this.
It was quite an amusing interview.
Other than that there was music done by Jagged Stone with Luka helping his father on the songs he was doing on the movie with other music done by Clara Nightingale.
"So how did filming your cameo go Chloe?" Luka asked as Chloe huffed with her arms folded as they knew that their fellow heroes who helped in defeating Hawk Moth and Mayura would have their own lesser cameos in the movie.
"As well as could be expected..." Chloe said simply as they laughed in response as Chloe's cameo was to have her splashed by a puddle in the rain by an Akuma chasing after his target with Chloe remarking 'ridiculous, utterly ridiculous!'
"Good to see how much you grown in maturity and humility Chloe; the old you would never have stood for that." Marinette responded with an amused smile as Chloe humphed but made no effort in correcting her.
"Anyway, Remember on Friday the party to promote the launch of your video game." Chloe reminded them as there was coming out shortly was a licensed game based on them by Imagineering Games the studio that made the Ultimate Mecha Strike series and didn't go for loot boxes or pay to win scenarios in games. Chloe had gotten their hero squad input in their characters play style and abilities in the games and even lent their voices. Plus Marinette and her parents would be able to help beta test the builds and levels.
Luka saw the development team and they saw him how they had to nerf his Second Chance ability as Viperion (though his current fusion identity with the Cat Miraculous was known as Vipercat) and Kagami saw her identities as Ryuko and Kitsune in the game and Chloe had seen Miss Sting as a costume for Queen Bee and was perfectly fine with her as a boss as both Antibug and Queen Wasp.
No use in trying to ignore her past...
In fact other people were approached to permission and royalties for their Akuma selves to be in the game. To reflect how Xavier Ramier had became Mr Pigeon countless times, his self was now acting as a basic cannon fodder enemy in the game.
"Well Mr Guitarist Who Grew Up On a Boat, how did getting a taste of movie acting feel like?" Chloe asked as Luka grinned.
"Well I wouldn't call it acting since most of my lines was talking about how much I love Marinette." Answered Luka as Marinette giggled and Chloe made a barfing sound.
"Save the lovey dovey stuff for the wedding in a few years." Chloe replied as Marinette smirked.
"Quite jumping the gun aren't you to think that we will end up marrying?" Marinette asked as Chloe gave her an angry look.
"Are you serious? I would be surprised if Luka here hasn't bought the ring ready to propose straight out of Lycee. Tell me if that's the case Couffaine then I will lend you the money and then ask what exactly do you spend your royalty money on if it's not something important like that." Chloe retorted as Marinette and Luka just laughed as they walked off.
