Jake and Heeseung have been in a relationship for about a year and a half and they're not less whipped since then.
They become busy most of the time but they always find time for each other. And thus tonight, they sat on the couch snuggled beneath one blanket as Heeseung drapes his arm over Jake's shoulders, wrapping around the brunette's small frame before this hand finds and brushes the latter's hair gently like it was the most natural thing to do in the world. Jake, on the other hand, automatically laid his head just somewhere between Heeseung's shoulder and chest as he called it 'The most cozy and comfortable place in the whole universe'. Yes.. making the pillows and beds jobless.
"Babe, you how much I love you right? except for your taste in movies" Jake teased making an effort not to giggle too much.
"Hey! I'm sorry that you just have an uncool taste compared to mine" Heeseung acts like he was upset but the corner of his lips were twitching upwards.
"Uncool huh? Who watches animation in a movie night? We could've just watch an action movie!" Jake jokingly rolled his eyes while lightly punching Heeseung's chest.
"Oww.. come on babe, we always watch what you want. We already watched action last week. Give me a chance!"
"Yeah yeah fine, I was just kidding" Jake admitted defeat and continued to giggle because of Heeseung's cuteness.
About halfway through the movie, Jake's stomach started sending signals that it was about time to grab some dinner.
"Babe, what should we get for dinner? I'm hungry" Jake asked for suggestions while his eyes were still glued on the tv screen.
But after a few seconds he earned no response so he raised his head only to find out that Heeseung already fell asleep with his cute bow shaped lips slightly parted.
"You chose the movie but you're knocked out before me" Jake chuckles quietly. He couldn't stop smiling as he continued to stare at his boyfriend's beautiful face. He sometimes envies Heeseung's long eyelashes but the elder always responds that Jake is prettier than his lashes, and Jake is the prettiest human he have ever met in his life. Jake would respond back calling the taller too much of a "sweet talker" which Heeseung replies with "Just stating facts" making Jake's cheeks painted with a slight crimson shade.
Jake carefully reached for his phone and decided to take a picture of his sleeping boyfriend hoping that it would be useful sometime in the future. The grin didn't leave his lips as he continued to take shots simultaneously adoring his man.
After finally being satisfied with a few shots ( a few meant about a hundred ), he locked his phone and placed it on the coffee table, reaching for the remote to turn off the television.
He goes back to his previous position but this time, Jake took his time to appreciate every little detail of his beloved boyfriend until his eyes fell to Heeseung's nose and suddenly developed the urge to boop it.
And so he does.
Jake couldn't help but laugh a little when Heeseung's nose scrunched as it made contact with his soft fingertip. Oh God. Jake had to control himself from squealing, he aimed his finger once again, but before it could even reach the taller man's nose, he felt an arm wrapping around his waist.
"Wha-" Jake didn't have the time to react when Heeseung smirked with his eyes still closed and bit his finger.
"Ow!"
The taller finally opened his eyes and let out a hearty laugh, proceeded to enclose the cute criminal who disturbed his sleep in his arms.
"You scared me!"
"You started it babe. I was peacefully sleeping then you decided to boop my nose out of nowhere. I know I have the cutest nose but you can do it when I'm awake."
"Ugh!"
Jake huffs, squirming to get out of Heeseung's embrace, eventually failing when the elder entraps him more.
"Let me go!"
"Don't wanna. You should pay the consequences for disturbing my sweet slumber"
"Oh shut up! I'm hungry so let go of me now!"
"Oh shut up babe I know you love it when we are like this. Let's stay like this for a bit more then we'll go out for dinner"
Sometimes Jake hates how Heeseung knows so much about him. Knowing how much he loved cuddles as embarassing as it is to admit he indeed loved it when he was enclosed in Heeseung's arms. Especially when Heeseung leans into him while the elder's fingers brushes his locks making Jake's heart all tingly.
"We're having pizza fried chicken I'm not gonna take any other opinion"
"Alright alright, pizza fried chicken it is--"
"And strawberry milkshake for dessert"
Heeseung bursts out laughing again. The taller finds it so adorable when Jake puffs his cheeks and becomes all pouty when he is acting grumpy. Jake might have the weirdest swings in his mood but only Heeseung can handle it. Yeah to phrase it in simple words, Heeseung is just too whipped.
"Yes young master. Your wish is my command." Jake punched Heeseung's chest but the latter continued to laugh his ass off.
"Babe!"
"Okay okay babe, sorry" Heeseung tighten the hug again before finishing his sentence "I love you" Heeseung closes his eyes and leans his head on Jake's.
"I love you too"
Heeseung smiles knowing Jake was too embarrassed to drop his grumpy act like his heart wasn't going all wild, hiding his face on the taller man's chest and deciding to finally reciprocate the embrace.
There's no place like home when for Jake, home meant being trapped in Heeseung's arms. And for Heeseung likewise, he swears to become the safest place for his angel.
