Work Text:
Robin sat on the porch door looking out towards the borders of button house. It was a cold and dark morning, quiet usual for winter but the cold never concerns Robin because… well he’s dead.
He sat on the porch looking at the red line that was rising up through the dark sky. Whilst letting out a little him he was thinking about why don’t the others watch this with him until he heard a familiar voice.
“Robin” said a tired voice.
He turns his head to reveal a very tired looking Julian.
“Julian” he said with joy. “What you doing up”
“I…I just can’t sleep”
Robin smiled then patted the space next to him in the porch. “You want to see sun with me?”.
“Ok” he said as he knelt beside his ancient friend. They both looked at the sun gently lifting it’s bright head over the land. Julian gently placed his head on top of Robins shoulder and thought to himself “you know what maybe I should do this more often”.
