Mina chose Nayeon before, but will she choose Nayeon now?
Mina was 12 when she first had a crush on her bestfriend, Nayeon.
"Nayeonnie!"
"Minari!"
The two were inseparable. They live on the same street, attend at the same school, everything they did, they were always together.

"Mina-yah, let's go to the park later? I have something to tell you."
"Eh? I still have a meeting with the student council after class, Nayeonnie."
"It'll be quick, please?"
"But—"
"No, it's fine. It can wait tomorrow—"
"Fine! Promise me it'll be quick!"
"You're the best, Minari!"
How can Mina resist Nayeon if she hugs her like it's the last time?
Or maybe it is the last time.

Mina was 16 when she first had her heart broken.
Nayeon was 16 when someone courted her.
"I thought you hated him?"
"I did, before."
"Nayeonnie, you know about his reputation. He'll do you no good. He's not worth your time. He will never be good enough for you."
"And how do you know that he won't be good enough for me?"
"Isn't it obvious—"
"And who are you to tell me who should I be with?"
"What?" Mina felt that her heart was shattered in pieces. That wasn't her Nayeonnie.
"I won't repeat myself, Mina." Nayeon realized that she was too harsh on Mina.
"Then maybe next time, stop wasting my time on telling me these kind of things if you disregard my opinion. I have something important to attend to, Nayeon."
Nayeon just watch Mina walk away from her.
Mina wiped the tears coming from her eyes.
Mina was 16 when she first called Nayeonnie as Nayeon.

Nayeon was 19 when she realizes that Mina was right.
Nayeon was 19 when she realizes that she misses Mina.
Mina was 19 when she had a lot of admirers, including one of her Japanese bestfriend, Hirai Momo.

Mina and Nayeon was 19 when they became inseparable again.
But Momo is now in the frame.
"Mina-yah, let's go out later?"
"I can't, Nayeonnie. I'm sorry."
"Do you have a meeting later?"
"Uh no, I'm going out with Momo."
"Oh, okay. How about tomorrow?"
"I'm still not sure."
"Still have plans with Momo?"
"Maybe."
"Okay, have fun then."
Nayeon fell for Mina, but she thinks that she's too late.

Mina doesn't know how to respond to Momo earlier.
"Mitang?"
"Yes Momoring?"
"I have something to tell you."
"What is it?"
"Promise me that you won't stay away from me?"
"Okay? Momo, tell me now. You're scaring the hell out of me."
"I like you."
A moment of silence passed. Momo felt like it was years. Mina thinks that she is joking.
"Momo, stop with the jokes." Mina chuckled nervously.
"I'm not. I like you more than friends should have." Momo said sincerely.
Mina just stares at her.
Momo thinks Mina is not ready.
"You don't have to reciprocate what I feel okay? Atleast not now."

"I like you, Mina-yah. More than friends."
Mina doesn't know what to do.
"Wait, the both of them confessed earlier?"
"Yes!"
"Mitang, should I confess too?" Sana laughs at Mina.
"Shouldn't you be helping me?" Mina rolled her eyes at Sana.
"Fine, fine. Did you like them?"
"I liked Nayeonnie before for 7 years. It stopped when Momo came."
"Do you like Momo now?"
"I don't know. Maybe?"
"I have an idea." Sana said.
Mina isn't sure that it is the best plan, but it is all that they can think of for now.

"So you want the both of us to court you?" Nayeon said.
"Yes. I know it sounds stupid but for the sake of being fair."
"I'm in. I don't back down easily, Im."
"And I never stop until I get what I want, Hirai."
Mina thinks this is the greatest idea, but it is the start of chaos.

This is really the start of chaos.
"It should be my turn now!"
"No! It's my turn for today!"
"Yah, I skipped last week's schedule, so it should be my day today!"
"It's not my fault that you skipped last week, Hirai."
"And it's not my fault for—"
"Stop!" Sana shouted.
"The one that the both of you are fighting for already left! God, when she said she wanted the both of you to court her, it doesn't mean that you should always take her out to dates. You know she hates that. Start doing the things that she loves and get rid of that fucking schedule!" Sana went after Mina after giving the two of them a little sermon.

As day goes by, Nayeon and Momo improved. Sure, they still bicker on which coffee Mina likes and race to Mina's building at 7 am in the morning. But the both of them started being serious about it, of course by removing that 'fucking schedule', which Sana said.
The both of them made sure that if they made plans with Mina, they wouldn't overlap with each other.
Mina really appreciates the effort given by Nayeon and Momo. But...
She wishes she didn't have to choose between the both of them.
She wishes she didn't have to hurt one of them.
But she has to make a decision.

Mina was 21 when she decided it was time to choose.
Nayeon and Momo courted her for 2 years.
She thinks it's time to let one of them go.

Momo waits at the playground where she first met Mina here in Korea. This is where Momo found Ray, Mina's dog, wandering alone.
"Ray-chan! Where are you? Ray-chan!"
"Excuse me, is this your dog?"
"Ray-chan! Where have you been? I only went inside to get your snacks then you already left. Thank you so much, Miss...?"
"Momo. Hirai Momo."
"Momo" Mina smiled. She think Momo looks cute.
Momo thought that it is the greatest smile in the world.
From the moment she met Mina, she knew that Mina is the one.
"Momoring!" Momo was snapped out from reminiscing their memory on how they met.
"Mitang!" Mina smiled happily at the mention of that nickname.
"How long have you been waiting?" Mina asked.
"Not that long, what's important is that you're here." Momo smiled at Mina.
"Smooth talker are we, Hirai?" Mina chuckled.
"Learned from Sana. It's cold today, why didn't you wear your jacket?"
"I forgot."
"Mitang, you can't keep forgetting your jacket. You easily get cold."
"But I know you'll take care of me."
Momo blushed at what Mina said.
Mina chuckled.
"Now who's the sweet talker, Myoui?"
"Shut up." They both laughed.
"So, why did you want to meet today? I thought you and Nayeon have a date today?" Momo asked after a minute of laughing.
"First name basis now?"
"For the sake of you not walking out again." Momo rolled her eyes playfully.
"Well, I canceled it."
"Eh? Why?"
"Because I wanted to spend time with you."

Nayeon thinks why Mina wanted to cancel.
"Can we cancel today, Nayeon?"
"Why?"
"I have somewhere important to be later, is it okay?"
"Sure. No problem, Minari."
Nayeon doesn't overthink about it because she just wanted to go home for tonight.
On her way home, she decided to go to the playground where she and Mina first met.
Nayeon bumped into someone while playing with Jeongyeon. She started panicking when the person she bumped with started crying.
"I-I'm really sorry! I didn't mean to bump to you. P-please stop crying." Nayeon said as she didn't know what to do.
"Nayeon what are you doing— hey are you okay? What happened?" Jeongyeon said, calmly controlling the situation.
"I-I bumped into her while we were playing, I just suddenly bumped into someone." Nayeon is now panicking.
"Nayeon-ah, calm down."
"I-I'll get bandages from our house!"
Nayeon runs to her house to find some bandages and snacks to say sorry to the little girl that she bumped with.
"Hey, here. Now your knee is fine! Look!" Nayeon said happily while pointing to the little girl's knee.
"Thank you." The latter said. Nayeon smiled.
They were at the playground, eating the snacks that Nayeon brought.
"I'm Nayeon. Im Nayeon, and you?"
"Mina. Myoui Mina."
Nayeon thought if it is possible to like someone at the age of 10.
Nayeon smiles at herself everytime she remembers the time when she and Mina met.
"Only if I hadn't been stupid before and chose her over that stupid guy, then we would be together." Nayeon sighs as she says to herself.
The playground is now in sight, Nayeon sees two people hugging each other. She smiled because one of them looks Mina.
She was about to walk away when she realizes that it is Mina and she is hugging someone. She walked closer to see... Momo.
Momo and Mina hugging in the same spot where they had first met.
Where she first liked Mina.
Now, she really thinks it's too late...
Too late to love Myoui Mina.

Momo blushed when Mina said that she wanted to spend time with her.
They are now eating the foods that Mina bought for the both of them.
"You know, I still thank Ray-chan until today." Momo said.
"And why is that?"
"Because of him, I met you." Momo said sincerely
Mina felt sorry.
"Momo, we have to talk." Mina suddenly became serious.
Momo thinks that Mina just wants to ask something important. She doesn't want to think about...
"What is it?"
"I'm sorry." Mina is starting to tear up.
"Hey, what's wrong? Did something happen?" Momo asks worriedly.
"No, nothing happened."
"Then why are you crying?"
"Momo, I'm choosing Nayeon."
Momo just stared at Mina.
She knew that this was going to happen.
She always knew that it was Nayeon and...
Was never her.
"Mina, why are you sorry about it?"
"I never wanted to hurt you."
"I chose to be hurt. Nayeon and I chose to be hurt the day we both agreed to court you. You don't have to be sorry for choosing the one that you love the most." Momo wipes the tears from Mina's eyes.
"I'm sorry for making you wait for nothing."
"Hey don't say that. I was really happy for those 2 years. Imagine being close with the person you love everyday. I'm happy with all the moments and memories, Mitang." Momo hugged Mina and was also crying.
After a few minutes of crying, they both looked at each other and laughed.
"But, hey..." Mina said.
"Hmm?"
"Be happy okay? Find someone who will truly love you. Actually, there's someone who waited for you too."
"It's Sana, right?" Momo chuckled.
"H-how did you know?"
"She's quite good at being obvious, that's why." They both laughed.
"But I'm happy. I'm happy that you have someone who will truly take care of you."
"Thank you, Momoring."

The next day, Nayeon went to the playground.
"Why are you even going here, Nayeon? You'll hurt yourself more." Nayeon started tearing up.
She doesn't know if she can manage to see Mina after what she saw.
She thinks of different ways to avoid Mina. After 5 minutes, she finally knows how to avoid Mina.
But of course, right when she was about to leave, there came Mina.
Mina who is her first love.
Mina who chose Momo.
Mina who brought the exact same snacks when they first met.
Wait, what?
Nayeon was shocked when she saw Mina who brought snacks. Mina who is smiling brightly at her.
"Nayeonnie? Are you okay?" Mina asks worriedly as she saw Nayeon's puffy eyes.
"I-I'm okay—"
"No, you're not okay." Nayeon heard Mina's tone. She knew that she should not argue with Mina if she uses that tone.
"What happened? Who made you cry?"
"You." Nayeon said.
"Is that why you canceled our date? To be with Momo? To tell her that you chose her? Why didn't you just tell me yesterday?"
"What are you talking about—"
"I saw the both of you happy, hugging, and crying here at the playground! At the exact same spot where we first met, Mina." Nayeon looks really defeated.
"Listen to me first okay?" Mina told Nayeon. Nayeon nodded. Still whipped for Mina.
"The reason why I chose to talk to Momo because I was sorry. I was sorry for wasting her 2 years on me.—"
"What do you mean–" Mina shushed Nayeon and she immediately shut up.
"I'm choosing you, Nayeon. Ever since we were kids, I always chose you. If you didn't agreed to that stupid guy on courting you, then we would've been together now." Mina rolls her eyes playfully.
"You're choosing me?"
"Yes."
"For real?"
"Yes, Nayeonnie."
"You're really choosing me–"
"Want me to choose Momo–"
"YOU LOVE ME!" Nayeon shouted out loud, jumping in happiness.
"I do love you, Nayeonnie."
"Thank you for choosing me, Minari."
"I'd always choose you and only you."

Mina is now 27 and is happily married with Nayeon.
"Love, stop joking aroud now. You'll look like a fool to the kids." Mina said.
"But I am your fool." Nayeon said while pointing at Mina's wedding ring "Forever."
Mina can't help but laugh at her wife's antics.
Mina chose Nayeon before.
Mina still chooses Nayeon until now.
Nayeon chose Mina before.
Nayeon got scared.
Nayeon was chosen by Mina.
Until the end, they were each other's first and last love.
