Chapter 1 Other World
Alice Michelle Earp lives in a world that is all about power. She is part of a very powerful family, the Earps. Her mother Wynonna Earp and her father Jonas. Alice's father is a revenant and her mother is the heiress of the Earp family and owns a weapon called Peacemaker that can only be used by the Earps. Alice is half human and half revenant and has a little of both. She can hold and use Peacemaker and she also has the bloodlust of a revenant. Alice has a hard time keeping herself under control around people, she wants to rip everyone's guts out and has to hold back her animal instincts. She is still a teenager but already has so much responsibility, she is one of the most powerful weapons they have.
Jonas teaches Alice to keep herself under control and only lose control when necessary. But Alice also has a special ability just like some other revenants. She can read other people's minds and manipulate them into doing whatever Alice says, but there is a negative side to this. Whenever Alice uses her ability she tends to lose control, but Jonas and her are working on it.
The Earp family and the revenants are allies who want to find a way out of Purgatory and destroy everything, but there are also people who want to prevent that. The Black Badge Devision, BBD for short, fights actively against the revenants and wants to protect the world from the supernaturals.
Alice is not yet allowed to go on missions and fight BBD, because her parents forbid her to do so. But Alice thinks she is ready to fight for her freedom and help her family, but no one except her Aunt Waverly agrees.
"Auntie Waves, I just want to fight for our family, I'm ready," Alice says.
"I know you're stronger than anyone gives you credit for, but you have to understand your parents are only worried about you," Waverly replies with an understanding look on her face.
"You're right, but could you ask Mom and Dad if I could come with you?" asks Alice.
"All right, as if I could say no to my favorite niece, but promise me if they say yes that you'll be really careful, okay?" says Waverly with some concern in her voice.
"I promise, thank you!" Alice could hardly stand still with excitement.
Waverly leaves the room where they were talking and heads to the living room where Wynonna and Jonas are planning their new attacks.
Waverly's posture was elegant and her steps even, her dark wings brushing the walls of the hallway she was in, and her pale skin glowing.
When Waverly arrives in the living room, the meeting is over and she sees Wynonna and Jonas kissing in the kitchen. Waverly slowly comes closer and then when she arrives in the kitchen she started to talk.
"Ahm, hello lovebirds, how did the meeting go? Is it finally working out this time to get out of the shithole?" asks Waverly in an annoyed voice.
Wynonna and Jonas, who have now returned to their normal positions, look at each other and nod.
"We're going to attack the BBD headquarters tonight with everything we've got and then we'll finally escape and we can just do everything."
This brings a smile to Waverly's face, "You should take Alice with you, she is ready and determined to fight for us. I know you just want to protect her but if tonight our long time enemy falls she should be there shouldn't she?"
"You're right baby girl, she should be there, but she'll always be by our side deal?" Wynonna has her worries but nevertheless agrees.
Waverly nods and looks back with a slight smile to tell Alice the good news.
As Waverly tells Alice the news, the girl smiles like never before. She finally gets to use all her training and shred a few BBD agents. Waverly is proud of her niece and admires her bloodlust.
"It's already starting tonight, prepare well and always stay by our side. Me and your parents will show you how to finish the good guys." says Waverly with a diabolical grin on her face.
Then the two prepare for the fight.
-At BBD-
For almost 2 weeks now BBD has had a spy at the Earps house, his name is Deputy Marshal Xavier Dolls, who has volunteered to carry out this dangerous mission. He checks in every few days to give an update on the earps plans.
Agent Lucardo sits at her desk as she does every afternoon doing BBD paperwork, but she is also Dolls' contact for updates.
Suddenly the phone rings, of course Lucardo looks to see who it could be and is surprised. "It's Dolls but he's not supposed to call until tomorrow. Maybe something happened? "Lucardo thought to herself.
"Hello?", Lucardo asks, "Dolls are you okay? What's up?"
"I don't have much time so I'll tell you real quick. They're planning an attack on the headquarters tonight." Dolls speaks as quietly as possible.
"Okay I'll pass this on and you take care of yourself okay?" says Lucardo.
"And what I wanted to say is tell our superiors to use it," Dolls says in a cool voice.
"But it hasn't even been tested yet, that's crazy even for you Dolls" says Lucardo.
But Dolls didn't hear that and hung up. Lucardo is frustrated by Dolls' behavior, but she sets off to tell her superiors about the attack.
