After a long day of searching for Pokémon and having fun, Ash and Goh finally return to the laboratory to rest.
They were on a sugar rush since they had many yummy different types of deserts, and tons of them too. They were having a burst of laughter and Chloe walks in the room and says “Jeez can you two be any more loud”
They looked at each-other with a faint smirk trying their best not to laugh any more even tho they were about to cry from it.
After chloe left, the out burst started. It was a whole thing even the lab can hear it.
“Ash” said Goh. “Yeah what’s up?” said Ash with a little bit of blushing. He loves when Goh calls out his name it makes him very happy.
“I have an idea!” Ash intrigued since he’s always seen Goh as the smart funny guy replies back in a happy tone says “WHAT IS IT?”
Goh stops for a second and has to hold his heart back from pounding. Seeing Ash excited like that makes his heart race.
“Wh— what if— we ha—ve a — p—iill-llow f—ight—“ Goh couldn’t stop stuttering. Hes heart was also pounding, since today was the day he would confess to Ash.
“SURE!” Said Ash. He wanted to find a way to sneak into hugging goh or at least holding his hand just even for a couple of seconds.
“Okay let the pillow fight begin!” said both together with a tiny bit of red.
Ash threw a pillow at goh and it missed entirely. “HAHA LOSERRR”
Ash threw another one and with Gohs jokingly ego in the way next thing he knows a pillow in slapped right in this face.
“Nows my chance!” Ash thought to himself. He thought maybe this is a good time to hold his hand and lift him up to help. Next thing he knew, Ash also had a pillow right in his face.
“I tricked u didn’t I! The great king, Goh, at pillow fights, have used my great gesture of tricky ness to fool u right into my trap.”
Ash started laughing so hard. His face looked like it’s been in 200 degree weather for 30 hours straight.
Goh started blushing so hard too, his face looked like it’s been in 300 degree weather for 50 hours straight.
Ashs laugh to him was the most precious thing ever. Anything that shows that Ash is happy or excited makes him happy.
Wether it’s laughing, battling, losing a battle and getting excited to train harder or winning a battle and still getting excited to train harder, Goh loves it all.
“Ash, I have something to tell you”
“What is it Goh?” Goh wasn’t sure if he was ready. He didn’t know anything about if ash liked him or not. “Goh i like you”
Goh pauses. “What do you mean ash??” “Oh shoot, that wasn’t supposed to come out”
“You see goh, i’ve liked you for a long time. Ever since i’ve met you almost. Adventuring with you is so amazing and I don’t wanna just be close friend adventure buddies i wanna be more.”
“Ash, i don’t know what to say. The thing is, I love you. More then a friend. Ive always loved you, everything about you is amazing. If it wasn’t for your i don’t know who i would be. You gave me the motivation to keep working hard and to never give up.”
Ash stares at him and Goh stares back. Ash holds his hand and Goh gets all flustered. “I guess I can do this now” says Ash. He leans in and gives a small kiss on the cheek.
Gohs burning up. Hes so happy and yet so confused. All he knows is Ash likes him back and that’s the most important thing to him.
Both just look down. They never really have done anything like this before, it was awkward. “Goh, thank you”
Goh gets confused. What is there to thank him for? “For what Ash?”
“For being there for me during all my crazy dumb ideas” “Ash! Dont stay stuff like that. Your crazy dumb ideas bring happiness to me”
“Sorry it’s just this is a little awkward, i’ve never done this before” Goh giggles a bit “Don’t worry ash, i haven’t either. I’m just glad, you were the first.”
They both smile and continue their pillow fight.
