In Eden rests Adam, next to him lay god, creater of the universe and the world Adam calls home. Under a tree holding fruit so wonderful even the lord marvels in it's taste, he stood to take a fruit from its perch in the leaves.
"Some of my best work are the fruitful trees among this world" they laid next to Adam, the taste of peach flooding Adams tongue.
"Jehovah?" Adam sat up, a question bugging in his mind for days now.
"Yes, Adam?"
"Every other animal has a female counterpart..." The lord could see where this was going, but waited for Adam to Finnish. "What about humans? I mean...I'm not complaining-"
"Adam, I know, curiosity is not a sin" Jehovah stood, the soft wind breeze on his skin, "It is only a sin to lose your love"
"Jehovah...would it be possible to create another human? This time female?" God sat back down, taking Adam's chin in their hand.
"I do love you Adam, but promise me you won't leave me" they took his hand.
"I promise Jehovah"

"Are you ready Adam?"
"Yes" Adam had laid down under the tree, propped against the trunk. God had to take a rib from Adam, his undying love for him making them want to base the female version of a human off him. A gift, from a lonely god to a lonely human.
"Don't worry my love, I'd never hurt you" the extraction of the rib went smoothly, the creation of Eve with the very soil of the earth.
Years had passed since the birth of Eve, Adam had become more attached to her and less to his lover. Eventually Adam had shown eve the bliss of sex, in God's garden of all places! Rage filled Jehovah, betrayed by their one and only love. God banished Adam and Eve from his garden. Soon he grew lonely, seeing the wrongness of his ways he created the seven deadly sins, pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth. All things that would eventually tear man apart, their sorrow filled soul tainted their perfect world and they could never bring themself to talk to man again.
