Chapter Text
Soul Marks have always been a mystery, far longer than when Quirks first emerged. It was a mystery that will never be solved of how Soul Marks came to be, but one thing is common, Soul Marks are to be cherished.
Soul Identifiers are also a thing of mystery. A Mark, if a person has one, always appears at birth, and are always gray. The gray goes away when one part of the bond realizes who they are, normally in the teenage years, and an Identifier appears in that part of the bond. A Mark that is considered complete, is a Mark with no gray areas. For example, a boy and a girl are platonic soulmates, two gray spots on the wrists, and when the boy realizes who he is, one part of the bond turns blue, the other part still gray, and when it is finally completed, the soulmates will find each other. A completed Mark is always noticeable to the soulmate, when soulmates meet, a click in their soul will sound.
A Soul Identifier is always unique to the person. The Identifier can appear as a word, object, animal, a solid color, or even a symbol of the person’s quirk. It will always be unique.
There are different kinds of Soul Marks, Romantic Marks appear above the heart, always a mix of the partners Soul Identifiers. Platonic Marks appear on either the wrists or the ankles Identifiers mixed. But the rarest Soul Mark is Soul Family. A Soul Family is a group of people who are Platonic soulmates with everyone in the family. It is so rare that only twenty Soul Families have appeared in the last fifty years. A family which is more than multiple friends, they are a part of each other's soul. A Soul Family is also unique in the way that the Mark is more of a design of lines intersecting each other, solid colors only. This Mark will always appear on the stomachs of the Family. In historical whispers, it is possible to have Romantic Marks on some of the Family Members. Two members, or more, can have Romantic Marks, but this does not conflict with the Soul Family.
A Soul Family of ten. A fall of a society. Broken and fractured people, only healed when together. A boy that was too young to fight. A girl to fractured by words to heal. A boy to crushed by the dreams of a man to be saved from himself. A boy formed to be different by a man who told the boy he was safe. A boy turned into something other than human, ripped from the hands of his best friend. A man who just needed acceptance. A man who wanted to follow the footsteps of his family. A man who was spit on by society because of his quirk. A woman who was a man but society said no. A boy who was too young to go to war with clipped wings, forced into a rule too harsh for a boy.
Heroes and Villains. An age old fight, but who says that Heroes are always good and Villains are always evil. The lines are blurred and the downfall of society started with only one simple bullet.
It all started with Midoriya Izuku, The Devil.
