Have you ever had that morning where you woke up and thought 'this is it! My life starts now! Today changes everything!' well this morning felt like that, for me at lest. I guess I should introduce my self before getting into this… Hi my names Lilith, nice to meet cha. As you can see I'm your average 5"8', 120 pound, blond, blue eyed girl next door. Anyway where was I oh yes, it all started when I woke up.
Like every other day I woke up late, after getting ready and throwing on my favorite green shirt and dark blue pants I raced out the door to barley make it to school on time. I'll admit the reason I was late was because I hate today, despite the good feeling I had. Incase you haven't looked at a calender or just blind you to would have noticed it, Valentine's day. Before I start a rant ill just continue with my story. I got to school, and it was a fairly normal day for me. Math, English, etc. the norm, you know? Lets fast forward to lunch shall we? Getting there I noticed once again that im completely alone while all my friends seemed to have some one. Well almost everyone, see my kinda close friend Erik is also single but I think that he has a crush on my best friend Abby. How do I know? Simple he gets all goofy when we are around and stuff.
Wait! You don't know Erik? How can you not! He's like at lest 6" if not 5"9'. Im not even going to guess his weight. He's like a twig but like strong you know? Plus he has the most… I mean a nice pair of green eyes and a boyish brown hair cut. What? NO, I mean no I don't like him… I AM NOT BLUSHING! Ok, ok where was I.. Ah yes after getting tired being the third weel I decided to go home early, I can do that you see no 5th or 6th. Stopping at my locker to drop off some books I noticed this… What do you mean what is it? It's a note silly! What? No I haven't read it yet… Alright, I will….
Lilith opened the note ignoring the old women she was siting next to. After reading it she jumped up off the buss stop bench and turned to the women. "Hey, thanks for listening to me I got to go" Lilith said as she ran off not noticing the women also stand and shake her head as she prepared to get on the now approaching buss, "teens now and days."
As she raced off, Lilith looked at the note again reading it to her self. 'Go to the library' was all it said. Reaching the library steps she slowed down, she couldn't help feel excited as she opened the door to the inside. As she walked in she noticed Mr. Patterson, the head librarian. He was an older man who looked like the classic grandpa.
"Hi, Mr. Patterson" Lilith said as she walked up to the front desk of the library.
"Eh? Oh Lilith how are you?" he asked
"Pretty good and your self?" she replied
With a chuckle he started searching for something on his desk "as good as its going to get… hold on I have something for you.. Where did I put it…. ah here we go" He grabbed a small folded paper and held it out to Lilith.
"Thanks" Lilith said as she took the paper, and left for the study tables across from the head desk. As she did this she read the note, confused she headed off to the romance section of the library. 'Eternal Love' she repeated in her head. As she looked for the book her thoughts continued 'why that book… who would know?' She bit her lower lip at the thought that some one found out that Eternal Love was her favorite book. 'Ah ha' She thought as she pulled out the book from its shelf.
'Its thinker then normal' she thought noticing the slight bulge as if some one stuck something in it. Opening the book she flipped to the page, and there in the book laid a small rose. Takeing out the rose she read the page it lay in.
Anna sat alone in the darkening park fighting off the tears. As she sat there she didn't notice the footsteps behind her, standing she looked up into the sky and asked the stairs "when will you be mine?" Gasping she turned hearing a voice behind her repeating her words, there stood Dan. The man she loved, who repeated…
"Be Mine" Lilith whispered Dan's line quietly to her self only to up and drop the book as she hears some one repeat the line with her. Turning she noticed Erik standing just across from her. "Erik? What are you doing here?" she asked forgetting about the rose in her hand. He laughed silently "Lilith I thought I made it clear? Lilith was about to question him but couldn't as he pulled her close and lead her in to a soft kiss. Pulling away he smiled "Well Lilith, what do you say?" Lilith just smiled as she toyed with the rose, silently she walked out of his reach and headed out of the library.
Confused he asked loudly after her "WAIT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?!" ignoring the shushing from others he chased her out of the library. There left on the floor laid the book still on the page Lilith was reading, and there the last word on the page said everything Lilith felt….
