Summary
Sonny never expected that the stripper Sapphire that he can't get out of his mind, would turn out to be someone completely different. Sonny couldn't get Sapphire off of his mind. The few times they had hooked up, it had been the best sex of his life. Sonny had been trying to not get attached to him because he knew that Sapphire would never leave the stripping world. He most likely had a pimp that was making sure of it. All of that changed though when Sapphire walked into a Team debriefing.
Clay had been working for the CIA since he was eighteen. They had picked him up in Africa and that was his ticket out of there. He never expected that working undercover at a strip club to shut down a human trafficking ring would lead him to Sonny. Sonny had a way of making him feel things he had never felt. A way of bringing out the emotions that Clay thought were long dead. The problem? Clay didn't want those emotions. He didn't want someone to be close to him only for them to die.
