a warmth needed

Currently the cold air blew cold breeze. In the upcoming months of the cold season two friends stayed on the rooftop. The friends by the name of Yuki and Tooru were enjoying each other's company. As well as feelings towards each other. A pair of bight yellow eyes stared onto her friend. A very handsome young man, she couldn't help feeling warmness all over her small figure.
Tooru looked back at her. Giving her a kind smile as he usually did. "What's with staring as of late?"
She shrugged her shoulders, while blowing air onto her cold hands. Thinking of a proper reply, she'd giggle. "I just love having you around."
He felt the same way nudging her arms. A warming feeling bursting inside of the two friends. Tooru looks to her shivering hand, giving her his own hand. "It's okay. We're still pretending to being a couple, right?"
"Oh yes." She nods her head. Eyes looking down to his offering hand. She takes it with much glee and joy.
The two friends decided on getting off the cold ground. In doing so, the smallest of the two, Yuki falls right back onto the ground. A huge impact lands on top of her. He gasped seeing her face up close. A blush illumes onto her face, bumping his forehead onto hers, but not to hard.
"Are you okay?"
"...y---yes..."
Tooru gets himself off her. Though it was just a short while, he liked seeing her cute bright blush. A small smile on his face while helping her up, properly.
The afternoon bell rings. Lunch was already over, and the students needed to get to their afternoon classes. As was Yuki and Tooru. They left the rooftop quietly making sure no one had taking notice.
Wrong they were of thinking that.
Yuki's best friend, Kyouko knew of it since the beginning of Yuki's growing friendship or relationship with Tooru.
She sits beside her current boyfriend, Izumi who'd whisper something was up between their two friends. Lightly agreeing while clapping her hands together.
"They'll tell us eventually." lowly whispers watching them interact with each other.
Tooru and Yuki would sit across from each other. Sharing stares, as it wasn't obvious to the rest of the class. But to themselves not much. Not bothering to letting it truly happen.
"It's all for a rumor and play." Tooru thought. 'I want to tell her of this warm feeling inside of me...' He says when describing the current feelings he was having for Yuki. All of a sudden, just because people think and believe they'd make a lovely pair.
'This feeling I won't let it go.' Yuki kept in her mind, and heart. Obviously knowing herself how she was feeling for the cool friend she was getting to know.
They'd stare at one another. Sharing a smile during one of their classes. The teacher up ahead explaining math to the whole class. Yuki was in another world. A world that consisted of confessing to him. Just someday it happening. As for Tooru, he tried his hardest looking straight ahead. Though his heart beating when stealing glances at her. He knew she wasn't even looking his way.
'I need and want her warmth someday. Her loving warmth.' Keeping it in mind. Classes was coming to an end.
The four friends decide on hanging out somewhere. All in agreement meet up in front of the school gates. Though for the foursome, one of them hasn't arrived yet.
"Where is Yuki, Hori-san?" Tooru asked.
She shrugged her shoulders. Til IzUmi breaks the ice. Not realizing it rattled Tooru when he mentioned a boy from another class had stopped her, and decided on talking to her.
"This boy could be confessing to her." She shook her boyfriend's shoulders. He lightly chuckled, till he sees Tooru's sad eyes. "We shouldn't be this happy. Especially when someone has eyes on her too." He points and whispers into Kyouko's ears. How right he was! She looked his way.
"Who wouldn't confess to her. She's just the greatest." He faked a smile. But it really broke him inside. "She'd have to turn him down. Right? She is my girlfriend, as rumor says..."
"Well is she?" Kyouko needed to know. Once and for all!
Just as he's about to answer, Yuki runs up to them. Apologizing as she had to reject an admirer from another class. Looking to a relieved face of Tooru's just had her giggling.
"Did the guy seem upset?" Kyouko grabs onto her best friends' arms. She needed to know the details, for sure.
"Nah. I barely know him. but he says he won't give up on me..." Looking back once she says those words. Tooru sighed. He already knew he had competition for the cute short girl.
'I want her for me! I want her warmness all for me...' Saying those words, and believing it with all his heart. His heart continued on pounding when she's told the friends she's rejected the sudden confession of the unknown boy.
"He didn't mind us being friends."
The two boys looking at each other. Nodding their heads, figuring what Yuki had meant by staying friends with the unknown boy. As well as getting to know him too.
"What's his name?" Kyouko plucked her friends' small nose.
Her vision stayed onto Tooru. Already being noticed by the other two friends. 'They like each other.' They'd look at each other, sharing a chuckle.
Tooru didn't caught on to what was going on. HIs mind was onto hoping one day to make it a reality. Having her as his own warmth. Not a warmth to be ever shared by anyone. Especially of a boy from another class that suddenly confesses to the girl he was vying for.
"His name is Yanagi Akane-san." She says when looking directly at Tooru. As she was telling him of the boy who suddenly confessed to her.
'As much as I want her, I need her to part of my life.' The thought staying in Tooru's mind.
'I don't want him! Can we make an us really happen? Your sweet warmness always surrounding me...' As well as it running in Yuki's mind.
Their faces likely reading what the other was thinking. As well as their emotions wanting to be together.
"They're staring at each other, real hard." Kyouko whispers to Izumi.
"It seems like they want to be together. Just like we're together, Hori-san." Izumi making it obvious while holding out his hands for his girlfriend. She takes it happily watching on what their friends will do next.
Tooru shook his head walking past her. She follows right behind, very quietly too. The other two not making a peep or moving.
"Are you upset with me?" The small girl asks him. She stayed behind him slowly reaching out his hands.
Taking her hand upon his long hands, while squeezing it gently. "No...I'm not. We're going to continue this ruse right?"
"Yes! but someday let's not anymore." She confesses. Sadness allures her voice when telling him.
"Of course, just be the cutest you that you can ever be, Yuki." He'd say her name. Wishing they were alone just to embrace her small body upon his own.
"You're the sweetest, kindest warmth I've ever met." She compliments.
He looks back at her. Seeing her sad face changing to a small grin. Taking the hand she's giving him onto his own lips while giving it a small peck.
'The warmth I want forever!' The two friends whom were crushing hard on each other thought the same thing.
