Chapter Text
C.1 YOU HIT ME!
It had been 3 weeks and 2 days since Midoriya had slipped. Izuku had been putting it off for awhile now, scared to let go. The last few times he slipped he was so sad and lonely, it felt like he was missing something. It had always felt that way before, but never to such a noticeable extent. Izuku knew what he was missing - he did not have to look it up. Bakugou. In little space Midoriya needed the blonde in a way he never had before, it was like Katsuki had finally made his way into the last obsession-free part of his life. They had been dating for a little over half a year now, it was bound to happen. Bakugou was his everything, the person that completed him, that Izuku could not live without.
But that was ok, Midoriya loved Bakugou, from beginning to end, no matter what. Getting together at the beginning of summer break and starting second year at UA as an exclusive couple could not have made Izuku any happier. Midoriya could NOT ruin this. If he went into little space again, he was bound to track down Bakugou and disgust him. Izuku would not risk losing Katsuki - not ever. Pushing aside that part of him would be easy if it were for his relationship with Bakugou... right?

"Nerd. Open up."
Midoriya shook himself from his stupor he had been in, staring at a computer screen trying to write an essay about earth formations in English for Present Mic.
"The door's unlocked, Kacchan!"
Bakugou slammed the door open then shut, stomping to Izuku's All Might themed bed and sneering at it.
Midoriya did not turn away from the computer screen as he continued to fiddle with his pencil.
"What's up?"
Bakugou growled.
"Look at me when you talk to me, Deku!"
Izuku sighed and spun his chair around to face Katsuki.
"Why are you so grumpy right now?"
Red eyes narrowed and tan hands flexed dangerously.
"... grumpy?! WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU SO RUDE?!"
Midoriya bit his lip, blushing in embarrassment. Yeah, for his usual charm he was being a little off. Besides, it was HIS fault he was so on edge.
"Sorry Kacchan, I've just had a lot on my mind lately."
"When have you not? It doesn't matter anyways, I wanted to ask you to spar with me."
Midoriya instantly lit up. Sparring? With Kacchan? In a safe environment without any extra meanings behind it? Perfect way to relieve some stress!
"Lets go!"
+++
Midoriya ducked under Bakugou's arm, grabbing his wrist and flipping him over his shoulder. Bakugou rolled and swept a leg to hook Izuku's ankle, watching with a feral grin as the green headed teen dropped to the floor. Katsuki stood swiftly, circling Midoriya. Bakugou was so much taller than Izuku, so much bigger from this angle. Izuku felt so small looking up at him, he just wanted to be wrapped in those big muscled arms and be held. Midoriya stood to go to him, his -
WHAM!
Out of nowhere a large fist gutted his stomach, stealing the wind from the freckled boy's lungs.
Heartbreak filled his very soul, as if the fist hadn't bruised his stomach, but shattered his heart instead. Midoriya went down hard, curling into a protective ball, shaking with remorse as silent tears streaked down his fast.
Bakugou was immediately at his side, this wasn't a usual reaction.
"Oi. Deku."
Midoriya did not respond. Bakugou cursed loudly to himself. It was obvious his boyfriend was going through SOMETHING.
"You're gonna be fine, Nerd. Just a fucking punch to the stomach. Walk that shit off."
Izuku just whimpered and curled into himself even more.
"You HIT me!"
They had been sparring, did Izuku somehow forget? Katsuki rubbed his face, letting his head fall back. He was NOT good at comforting.
"Is it ok if I hold you?"
Midoriya gave a little nod. Bakugou pursed his lips as he folded Izuku into his lap. He could not BELEIVE he was doing this. He had cuddled with Midoriya before - like after sex, or a meaningful heart to heart, or if one of them was dealing with some serious shit. But never out in public like UA's gym or for something so... small in importance. Now that he was doing it... Katsuki liked it. He liked it A LOT. Holding Midoriya and comforting him was... nice? Enjoyable?
Midoriya's shakes had disappeared and he had uncurled quit a bit.
"You good now, Deku?"
Izuku gave a little nod and sniffled.
"Thanks Kacchan."
"What was that little tantrum about?"
Midoriya pouted, brows furrowing.
"It was NOT a tantrum!"
"'Oooooh, you hiiiiiit meeeeeee!'"
Bakugou whined in a high squeaky voice, mimicking Midoriya. Izuku slapped the others arm lightly.
"It never happened Kacchan!"
"Surrrrrrre it didn't."
Midoriya stuck his tongue out at him, pushing off of Bakugou and walking away.
"I better not hear about it again, Kacchan!"
+++
Izuku messed up. Bad. How could he let himself slip even a little into headspace? How could he but their relationship on the line like this? Bakugou was his everything. Midoriya closed his bedroom door behind him, hands clenched into white knuckled fists. Sometimes he just hated himself so much - he was such a weirdo, why couldn't he be normal?
Midoriya decided to skip dinner, he did not want to be around anyone right now. Especially not Katsuki - seeing him now would just be salt to the wound, everything he needed being held in front of him but pulled away when he lunged for it.
Instead, Izuku decided to go on a walk to clear his head. Rain poured in heavy sheets as the cold battered some sense into Midoriya. White T-Shirt clinging to his shivering body and sweats completely soaked through. His big red shoes were just giant sopping puddles of fabric at this point, socks squelching with every step. Izuku knew he should not be out in the middle of the night in such little clothing in such an unfriendly climate, but it really was doing wonders for his head. The amount of discomfort he felt at this point caused the little in Midoriya to shrink away and cry.
Tomorrow was Saturday, Izuku was going to need more than cold rain to keep his head on straight, Katsuki and he had planned to hang out the whole day.
C.2 Bakutiddies
Today was Saturday and Midoriya was sick. But Izuku was going to need more than a cold pill to get better, and Katsuki was more than ready to help. Standing out in the rain and skipping meals had caused Midoriya's body to go on revolt, getting a high fever and nausea. '104.5 F' read the thermometer.
"Stupid motherfucker, what the fuck were you thinking?!"
Katsuki sneered down at Izuku, placing a wet washcloth on his freckled forehead. Midoriya whined and wiggled against Katsuki's body perched on the edge of the bed.
"Noooooo, Kacchan, don't be mad!"
Tears gathered in slightly red eyes, plump lips trembling. Even through sickness, Izuku was enticing when he cried. Katsuki hissed at himself, now was not the time to be horny, he could make Midoriya cry for an even better reason once he was at 100% health.
"I'm not mad fuck face, I'm just frustrated that you weren't taking care of yourself."
Izuku pouted and kicked his legs in annoyance like a child.
"Thats the same thing! Kacchaaaaaan, cuddles."
The bed ridden teen made grabby hands at the other, cheeks flushed with fever and eyes glazed. Katsuki cursed to himself as his cheeks flushed red. Midoriya was just so adorable it was unfair. He wanted Bakugou's love and attention, and it did something to the blonde. He just wanted to bundle Izuku up and take care of his little one like a good - WOAH. Where had he been going with that? Nevermind, Katsuki could look into it later.
"Fine, Deku, scoot over."
Izuku gave a little cheer and sniffled, rolling over to the other side of the bed. Katsuki laid down next to him, engulfed in his boyfriends clingy embrace as soon as his head hit the pillow.
"I missed you Kacchan, I never wanna be away from you!"
Bakugou went red from his chin to the spikes on his head.
"Fuck Deku, why are you so embarrassing?!"
Midoriya looked taken aback, pulling his arms away. In his fevered state he took everything Katsuki said to heart, even his teasing remarks.
"S-sorry Kacchan... I shouldn't be so touchy all the time."
Izuku rolled away so his back was to the blonde, sadness overcoming him.
"OI! I don't hate it when you're clingy - and... I missed you too- even if we were only apart for one stupid fucking night."
Bakugou wrapped himself around his smaller boyfriend, becoming the big spoon. It felt like he had been waiting for this for years. Holding Izuku close made everything better. And having Izuku count on him while he was sick was even better, he was in charge and taking caring of his baby- HIS BOYFRIEND.
Bakugou mentally face palmed. Baby? What was that? He hadn't been using it as a nickname but an actual title. What was wrong with him?
Soft snores came from Izuku, calming Katsuki's frazzled nerves. Everything would be ok as long as he had Izuku, Izuku was his everything.
+++
Midoriya's fever was gone the next day, but he was still exhausted and recovering. Katsuki had a training session with the Bakusquad planned for the morning, so he was not there to notice Izuku's decline in mental health. The Dekusquad was studying in the living room, chattering away. Izuku stayed quiet, no matter how many time the small group tried to include him. Midoriya was distant and reserved, so unlike his usual self that a worried Todoroki whipped out his phone.
'Hello Bakugou. Izuku is acting very strange today and everyone is worried. Do you know what is going on?'
It took a moment for a reply to come (probably because Bakugou saw who had texted him and had gone into a small fit of curses).
'FUCK OFF ICYHOT, HE WILL BE FINE!'
'He does not seem fine. He will not talk or move from his curled up position.'
'I'll be over in 20. Tell him to go to his room and wait for me.'
Todoroki's eyebrows lifted slightly, the last text was so unlike version of Katsuki the blonde displayed. The monochrome hero in training was glad Bakugou was taking Midoriya seriously and was doing his best to take care of him.
"Midoriya. Bakugou will be back in 20 minutes and he wants you to wait in your room for him."
Izuku finally perked up a little, to the relief of everyone in the room.
"Oh la la~ your lover coming home out of worry? How romantic!"
Aoyama chortled away in English, causing Iida to frown.
"That is NOT an appropriate topic of conversation! I am glad you're not going to be alone Midoriya, but we need to get back to the math homework IMMEDIATELY!"
Uraraka giggled and slapped Tenya on the head lightly with a rolled up copy of the math book.
"Don't be so serious Iida, we've been working for two hours straight already! We should take a break for lunch anyways."
Iida sputtered in frustration, but Tsuyu cut him off with a pointed look.
"Ochako-san is right, *ribbit*, its already 12:15 and we haven't eaten. Just because there's homework doesn't mean we can ignore our self care."
"I will walk Midoriya to his dorm and join you for lunch later."
Todoroki then stood gracefully, Izuku at his heal as they went for the stairs. The bickering continued behind them, Iida obviously losing as Aoyama cheered:
"VIVA LA FRANCE"
For no real reason.
"Thanks Todoroki..."
Midoriya trailed off, not knowing what else to say.
"We're worried about you. Whats going on?"
Shouto was never one for many words, but his worry was conveyed easily since Izuku knew him so well. It warmed Midoriya's heart, knowing he had such a caring best friend. His arms were wrapping around Todoroki before he could stop himself. Todoroki froze, surprised at the very least by the sudden hug. He relaxed after a minute and embrace the freckled boy back.
"Thank you Todoroki, you're my best friend."
A small, hidden smile grew on Todoroki's face.
"Call me Shouto."
Izuku smiled for the first time that day as he pulled away.
"Call me Izuku."
The two turned away from each other as Midoriyas door closed slowly, clicking behind Todoroki as he walked away with a new warmth in his heart.
+++
Katsuki was angry. He had no idea what was going on with his boyfriend and Todoroki had somehow managed to notice something was wrong before he did. But Bakugou knew that was not what mattered here; what mattered was figuring out what Izuku had been hiding lately. Midoriya only got like this when he was hiding something important to him from Katsuki - like a few months ago when he got depressed because Bakugou wouldn't hold his hand in public and thought the blonde was embarrassed of him, but was too scared of the answer to confront of him so he tried to keep his discomfort a secret. Todoroki (what was up with that Icyhot bastard?) had finally had enough of their little miscommunication (that had turned into a fight somehow), and told Bakugou. It turned out that Katsuki was embarrassed about how sweaty his hands were because of his quirk. Izuku did not care at all and had a little 'fun' showing Katsuki just how little he disliked his boyfriends hands, and how much he appreciated Bakugou's willingness to open up. They also figured out that Bakugou has VERY sensitive nerves in his hands because of his quirk.
Just thinking about it made Katsuki blush an annoying shade of pink.
The blonde shook his head hard to clear it, pissed that he was so easy to fluster. Midoriya's door came into view as he did, and he did not wait to knock as he barged in.
"GAH! KACCHAN! A little warning next time, please?"
Bakugou just shut the door behind him and scoffed.
"Shut up nerd, we both know that if you minded, you would have locked it."
Midoriya rolled his eyes and stood from his seat, sitting down next to Bakugou on the bed.
"So..."
Green eyes fluttered slightly as Izuku tried to look as tempting as possible.
"What brings you here today, Kacchan?"
Katsuki felt his ears start to burn.
"I'm just checking in on my boyfriend."
"Yeah?"
"Mhm. Some annoying two faced bird who is too much of a wimp to fight at full capacity told me you were acting a little weird today."
Izuku snorted at Bakugou's not-so-subtle frustration at Todoroki, then looked away from his boyfriend as he chewed on his lower lip.
"I didn't think you would... um... want to see me when I'm like this."
Katsuki's head snapped to the side as he glared at Midoriya, the teen in question avoiding his piercing crimson eyes. Bakugou grabbed Izuku and hugged him, laying back against the bed.
"THE FUCK NERD? Of course I want to see you. I don't care what kind of shitty mood you're in, I always wanna see you. Though I would prefer that those shitty moods weren't you made at me, cause that would fucking SUCK."
Izuku giggled, burrowing into Katsuki's muscled pecs.
"Bakutiddies."
For a long second there was silence, then:
"YOU'RE DEAD, NERD!"
C.3 Bunny Blanket Baby Store P.1
Bakugou woke before Midoriya, holding the smaller gay against his chest. Katsuki was relaxed, breathing pace matching Izuku's sleeping one. There was no place Bakugou would rather be in that moment, perfectly content beside his boyfriend - the boyfriend who was getting more and more withdrawn and emotional by the day. What was going on with Midoriya? Thank the higher powers for Google.
'My partner is acting different.'
'My boyfriend is being distant'
'What does it mean if I want to take care of my boyfriend?'
Katsuki wasn't getting the answers he wanted. What else could he write?
'Why is someone acting like a child?'
New answers popped up. Little space? Bakugou's brow furrowed in confusion as he clicked on the link. People really went into the headspace of a child? Was Midoriya a little? Bakugou was intrigued.
'Why does an age regressor get depressed?'
Lack of age regressing time. Not having a safe space. Not having a CG. Not having a good relationship with their CG. CG, aka Caregiver, explained Google. Katsuki continued to read into what a CG did. Did Izuku already have a CG? Bakugou's heart twinged in jealousy. Would it count as cheating? He did not know.
Did he want to be Midoriya's CG?
Katsuki wrestled with his ego for a second. Yes, YES, he wanted to be Izuku's CG. But first Katsuki had to catch up on his research a little more and make sure he did this right.

Midoriya woke up alone around 10:00am with a small note on the pillow next to him explaining Bakugou's absence; he had gone to breakfast and then the mall to get groceries. Izuku felt a little sad with the empty space next to him, yearning for his d- HIS BOYFRIEND to coddle him awake.
If Kacchan ever did that Izuku would trade his soul to All Might (not that he would not anyways).
Izuku's phone buzzed and he sighed, picking it up haphazardly and checking his notifications. It was Todoroki.
'Hope you are feeling better. Saved you some breakfast. Let me know if you want me to come up to your room with it.'
Midoriya smiled, happy to have such a sweet friend.
'I'm up, come whenever you would like.'
'On my way.'
Izuku did not even bother reminding Todoroki that he could have just used the acronym OMW instead, it's not like Shouto would ever bother to use it anyways.
It only took a few seconds before there was a light knock on the door.
"Come in, To- Shouto!"
Izuku called out. Todoroki swept in, pristine and perfect as ever, handing the tray to Midoriya and sitting at his desk.
"Hello Izuku. I brought you a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. How did you sleep?"
"I slept great! Kacchan and I cuddled all night, and I dreamt that I was living in a cabin with pet wolves that were all our classmates in animal form."
Izuku chattered between mouthfuls, still talking less than usual.
"What is going on, Izuku? I have been worried and so has everyone else."
Midoriya let out a long whoosh of air as his body seemed too deflate.
"Its complicated. But it will hopefully get better soon. Spring break is coming up and I'll finally have a chance to deal with it then."
Hopefully, the green headed boy thought to himself as Todoroki nodded along.
"Let me know if there is any way I can ever help Izuku, I am here for you."

The stores were either closed or empty at the mall that Sunday morning, Katsuki was surprised any were open at all. He wandered the open shops, skimming the many shelves for anything close to what he was looking for. Bakugou had made a list of some of the hundreds of items he had read about and researched online.
Katsuki noticed a baby store was to his left as he walked. He stopped and thought for a moment. Should he go in? Should he keep walking? If he was going to find most of the stuff he wanted it would be in there. Katsuki would not back down, not now, not ever. He was going in.
The clerk at the front did not even notice Bakugou walk in, she just kept scrolling on her phone with a bored look on her face.
The aisles were small and brightly decorated, soft blankets and baby food stacked in neat pastel rows. One particular baby blanket caught Bakugou's eye.
The blanket was fuzzier and thicker then the others and had little green pastel bunnies printed on light yellow fabric. All the bunnies seemed to be the same one, just in doing different activities. Closer to the bottom the bunny was covered in bubbles and in a small tub, taking a bath. In an upper corner the bunny was eating a carrot. The different activities went on and on, it was perfect for Midoriya, he would be busy staring at the print all day.
Katsuki imagined Midoriya cuddled up under it, cheeks flushed and softly snoring. Bakugou's cheeks started to burn and he shoved the twin sized blanket into his basket.
Next was the aisle with the stuffed animals and dish-ware & cutlery. A set of All Might dishes caught his eye. It was made up of a sectioned off plate, a shallow yet wide bowl, a sippy cup, and a pair of plastic cutlery (spoon & fork), all covered in either a cartoon All Might or one of his many popular symbols/colors. Bakugou not only knew that Midoriya loved it, but Katsuki loved it too. Everything about the set was perfect, and he did not hesitate before placing it into his basket with the bunny blanket.
A dish-ware version of the bunny blanket joined the other items in his Katsuki's basket, a long with a cartoon bunny pacifier and All Might pacifier- 'just in case' was the blonde's excuse.
Katsuki took a deep breath in preparation as he turned to the stuffed animals. There were so many sizes, colors, and textures. It was overwhelming. Bakugou ended up getting a cartoon green bunny made by the same company as all the other 'bunny merch', a mini All Might pillow, and a cute angry orange and yellow bear that reminded Katsuki of himself.
As he checked the time on his phone, Bakugou made his way up to the check out counter, heart thumping loudly in his chest.
The woman at the counter looked up, sighing as she started scanning his items. Bakugou's fingers started to twitch with a mixture of excitement and nerves. He still had to think the rest of this plan through.
