Mari woke up and sat up on her bed, she looked aside from her and across the room layed Sunny, sleeping peacefully in his bed.
Mari stepped out of her bed and walked over slowly to the door and opened it, she left the room quietly and closed the door behind her.
She walked downstairs, being careful not to make noise, she walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge. She was in the mood for some breakfast so she might as well make some for her brother too.
She wasn't really in the mood to cook someting though, and she wasn't as good. She decided to make some yogurt parfaits, it's been a while since her and Sunny have had them, so she thought it would be a nice surprise.
She grabbed the yogurt and berries from the fridge, then walked over to the cabinets to grab the bag of granola. She placed the ingredients on the counter.
Mari grabbed two small cups, and filled both of them with some yogurt. She then cut up some strawberries and put them on top, added more yogurt, then added the granola and blueberries on top.
She brought both cups to the table and placed them down, she heard a door open and footsteps coming down the stairs. It was Sunny.
"Good morning Sunny-! I made some breakfast for us!" She smiled warmly at the other and he smiled back.
They sat down at the small dining table and ate their parfaits in silence.
"Thank you- it's really good."
"It's no problem! They were really fun to make-" She laughed slightly and finished her breakfast.
