Entires of a Dream SMP Citizen

Summary:

(tags and character tags to be added as the story progresses)

DSMP viewers have, once in a while, been integrated into the story itself, many fans have interpreted this as the viewers being the casual citizens of the server. This fic tells the story of the SMP through the perspective of one of these citizens.

Please note that there may be some discrepancies from the canon timeline as well as a few interpretations. The general story will remain the same. Not every plotline will be mentioned since it's from the perspective of one person. The chapters will get longer or shorter depending on the time frame of the story.

Notes:

Hi! This is my first time writing a fic like this! Updates might be inconsistent but I appreciate anyone who's willing to stick with me. Thanks and happy reading!

Truly and Dearly,
-StarShine

Chapter 1: Entry 1

Chapter Text

Entry #1 -

My name is Amanita, I’m 19 years old, I’m a mooshroom hybrid, I’ve just left my home server and my mother, Chanterelle. Tonight is my first night as an official citizen of the Dream SMP, I arrived this evening and I’ve set up a temporary shelter until I can find somewhere more permanent to live, preferably with people nearby.

I wasn’t greeted by anyone, but seeing as this seemed to be a fairly new server, it’s sort of what I expected. I did see quite a few small crowds of new citizens, like me. Not very many people have come over here, considering it’s not really had a chance to set up any proper state or order.

I managed to sneak a few resources from a place called the community house (at least that's what I heard it was called), nothing much, just some wood and food. I plan to go mining tomorrow, get some tools and weapons then see where the other new settlers are headed.

I know it was sort of reckless and impulsive coming here alone but I’ve been waiting to leave my village for years now, and I knew no one was going to want to come with me. It’s not that I hate it, I’ve just grown bored of it after spending my entire life there. Besides, it’ll be worth seeing what all the hype is about. I’m still writing to my mother whenever I can.

Maybe writing all this down isn’t going to be useful to anyone. But hey, I’ve got faith in this little server, maybe one day all this can be used as a testimony in a history book someday.

I’ll leave it here for today.
