Hello and welcome to our reveals for our 2021 round !
We had a total of 39 writers and 2 artists post their works this year, and we couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve accomplished. Every year we are so humbled by the response and the support we receive for our fest and our writers and artists, so we couldn’t be more happy with how our last round turned out!

And since this our last round we would like to say a few words from the mods:
It has truly been an honor to host and moderate this fest for so many years. While various mods have come along to join the creator and graphic artist, Mod Vamp, all have poured their heart and soul into running MONSTERFEST. Every round we looked forward to seeing which writers would join us again (we remember each and every one of you!) and were excited to see which talented artists would give us a chance.
This started out as just a way to see more monster-themed fanworks in the EXO community, but it became an amazing hotspot for creativity and its own little home within the many fic fests that are running these days.
If only we had known that this would be our final round, we could have put a little more sparkle and shine into it all, but we hope that you still enjoyed reading and sharing the fanworks from this round and all the rounds before.
As per the request of Mod Vamp, we will not be bringing any new mods aboard nor reviving this fest anytime soon in the foreseeable future . If anyone wants to make a new fest with a similar theme, please feel free! It is just now time for MONSTERFEST to begin its eternal sleep in its own comfy little coffin.
