Intro
Yan Wei is a former assassin, she runs a photography studio and lives with two bossy cats. The first one is a lazy greedy fat black cat with golden eyes named ‘Lucky’. The second one...well, a little bit complicated. The latter mentioned is not literally a cat, she is a beautiful widow in her late twenties and soon to be a mother, but has annoying behaviour more than an actual cat itself.
She's sleeping more than 13 hours, just waking up to eat whatever she likes, and also reclutanly to take shower (although still religiously maintaining her skin treatment routine). Sometimes she just lazily curls up on the couch reading something, fussing about little things like wall painting, coffee, soap, toiletries, or simply just watching Yan Wei do her job. Looking at the pretty and cold face of Yan Wei never bored her.
However, no matter how annoying and bossy she is, Yan Wei is never really able to resist because this cat person is too adorable. Whenever Yan Wei refuses to do or give something she wants, she will play her delicate pregnants card while cutely whining and pouting at Yan Wei. Also she knows very well this grumpy assassin can easily be whipped with just a simple smile and compliment.
She is “ Xu You Yi, ” The most famous and sensational writer in Shanghai at this time. If you ask people in the city, they will describe her as not only beautiful but also a strong, independent, and very inspirational woman. So far opposite from the ‘lazy cat’ image that she exclusively showed to Yan Wei.
Well, Yan Wei's encounter with You Yi was rather bizarre and criminal. It was full of homicides, betrayal drama, revenge plot, guns, and involved evil husband, useless police officer and incompetent detective. Short story, You Yi was helping Yan Wei escape from a police chase and concealed her vendettas, While Yan Wei was protecting You Yi from his evil husband. Now both of them are living together and since then their relationship is blossoming in the direction they were unexpected
