Summary
2B has been given a really painful mission: kill 9S and 32S since 9S has found out information he shouldn't have and 32S may also have learned it from 9S. 2B sees no easy way out, that is until Mike, a human appears.
Mike has been selected by the Hamelin Organization since he can use magic, and he's skilled in multiple areas and has good fitness from the days he worked as a longshoreman. His current jobs as a janitor and electrician can easily be replaced and he's willing to take the 90% chance of death.
2B decides to get Mike to bond with the Scanners and use that as leverage to save them.
