Cuddling by the fire after playing in the snow

Work Text:

"Phew, that was great!" Willis exclaimed as he knocked the snow off his boots."You don't get snow like that back home."

"I thought you lived in Colorado?" T.K. said with a laugh as he hung up his coat. "Don't they get tons of snow over there?"

"Sure, but you usually don't get to enjoy it. There's not a whole of other kids to play with when you live out in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for inviting me to Japan for Christmas. I've had a blast."

The two blond teens finished undressing out of their heavy winter gear, snickering the entire time and pausing on occasion to throw the quickly melting snow at each other. Then they settled down by the fire flickering in the sunken hearth in the living room of the traditional Japanese home.

T.K. was spending Christmas with his Grandmother, or Obachan, and she lived out in countryside in the same house that her family had lived in for generations. Usually T.K. would visit her along with his older brother, but Matt was too busy touring with his band. So he had asked his friends to come, but only Willis had accepted the invite.

Which was unusual as the other teen lived half a world away, but he had winter break off from school and loved to travel so he had jumped on the invitation. T.K. was glad that he did. Turns out the two them had a lot in common and it was nice to hang out with someone who shared your interests. He loved his Obachan, but at 85 she wasn't a great conversationalist, nor one for snowball fights.

"Soo now what?" Willis asked as he warmed his hands by the fire.

T.K. sat down next to him. "Grandma should start cooking dinner soon. I vote we do something indoors until then."

Willis rolled his eyes in an exaggerated manner. "Well duh, we just got back from getting drenched in the snow. I meant what do you want to do?"

"I don't know. I'm too cold to think right now." T.K. snorted in good humor as he also rubbed his hands near the flames.

"Oh, well then, do you want me to help warm you up?" Willis asked with a sly smile as he scooted even closer to him.

T.K. looked at him in surprise. Willis was a flirt, sure. They all new that, but T.K. had never expected for his friend to hit on him

Willis pouted. "Why look so shock? You're the one who asked me to travel to another country and spend several days in a secluded cabin with no one else around but the two of us! I mean how obvious can you get?"

"Ok, first off it isn't just 'the two of us'. My grandma is literally over in the next room playing sudoku, badly I might add," He explained, "and second off, I asked everybody. You're just the only one who wanted to come along."

Willis gave an over-exaggerated sigh. "And here I thought you only wanted to seduce me. I was wondering why it was taking you so long to make your move. It's a shame too, cause you're awfully cute."

T.K. sure as heck, wasn't going let Willis know just how much the 'cute' comment flustered him. "I thought you liked girls?" He asked cooly.

"Oh I do, and I like boys too. I like anyone who is cute and fun to hangout with. I'm not picky."

"Nice to know you have standards." T.K. dryly quipped, but he couldn't keep a smile from creeping at the corners of his mouth.

Willis noticed and his own grin grew wider. He leaned in closer, his face mere inches from T.K.'s own. "Tell me the truth now, are you really not into me at all, or are you just playing hard to get?"

T.K. thought a moment. He honestly had never even considered the possibility before, but now that the opportunity had presented itself, well it didn't sound like a bad idea. In fact it sounded like a very good idea.

Willis was both fun to hang out with and undeniably 'cute' himself. Plus those lips of his looked very kissable right now. But T.K. still wasn't going to let Willis have the satisfaction of knowing that.

T.K. ignored those tantalizing lips and snooted his nose in the air instead. "Oh, please, your not the Romeo that you think you are."

Willis's smile grew even wider. "So you are playing hard to get." He said as he gently placed a hand under T.K.'s chin and turn's the boy's face towards his own. The smirk on his lips never leaving even as he closed the distance between them and wrapped his other arm around T.K.'s back.

T.K. couldn't pretend to ignore it any longer, not with Willis holding him and staring deeply into his eyes. They were so intense and a bueatiful bright shade of blue. His stupid stomach, now full of butterflies betrayed him and T.K. found himself blushing regardless of his resolve.

Still, he wasn't going to let Willis win. "Who's playing?" He asked before leaning in and giving the other boy a kiss.
