Chapter Text

Her eyelids feel heavy now, energy drained and yet still draining away. Mumyo - no, Minami - kneels in front of her once the outpouring of energy comes to a halt. Hide's hearing is overtaken by the closing fog in her mind, but she smiles in reassurance nonetheless. The worry on her partner’s face does not lift. She reads the hunter’s lips, unable to fight the pull of unconsciousness despite the call of her name.

All that lay there now is more of the dead.

Though… the other “gold” that had been mined… It was beginning to glow brighter recently.

The foreman shakes his head again and lays down.
