The leaves are bristling, the birds fluttering, and the dihua flute spreading it's tune across the land. Many would revel in its solace, the peace and quiet of Wang shu Inn, how odd? This place is normally bustling with people yet its so silent.
But even in it's silence you can still hear the Yanxiao in the kitchen drowning with his passion for cooking. What a dull day. Normally Xiao would love the peace but he isn't in the mood to do nothing today.
He hears someone calling for him near the rooftop he immediately leaves to the direction of the sound "Adeptus Xiao are you there?" An expectant but familiar voice called "Why are you calling?" He says trying to sound annoyed but chongyun can see he was glad to see him.
"If I may, would you like to join me on a venture?"
Finally something to do Xiao said in his mind "I suppose it would do no harm, I shall accompany you then"
...
The thick suspense in the air, Chongyun is losing his grip the wet stone making it difficult to hold his grip, Xiao is knocked unconcious from the fall but it doesn't kill him, the karmic energy overcame Xiao and lost his control.
Chongyun heavily breathes and tries to calm himself he needs to hold on longer but his strength weakens and losens his grip now falling.
...
"You're awake" a stern but quiet voice spoke "Adeptus Xiao how-" Chongyun questions but was interrupted "I regained conciousness when I sensed that you were in peril" he continues "Im sorry for my inconvenience"
"No no it's alright it is my fault for suggesting-"
Once again Xiao interjected "It's not your fault and since I dont want you to pester any further it wasn't my fault either happy?"
Chongyun stays quiet, agreeing sliently "Come with me i'd like to show you something" Chongyun stares at him bewildered but quickly regains himself and follows the Adeptus.
...
"You see the swan shaped cloud?" Xiao says monotone "I do! Wow the views are amazing up here.." Chongyun points excitedly unable to control his yang energy, Xiao softly smiles though the day was ruined it was far from over.
"I want to continue cloud gazing, what about you Adeptus Xiao?" The adeptus looks on to the sky "Only for a little while" maybe one day it would be longer than just a little while, one day he will tell him for how much he's longed for him.
