"Dad!!" a little voice calls the attention of Junwan in the cafe. Junwan just finished his day after a long 4-hours surgery.
"Oh! Cheonsa-ya~" Junwan hurriedly ran to the little girl who was running too towards him.
"Did you have fun with mommy?" Junwan asks her daughter as he carries her.
"Eo. We played at the mall...but I missed you daddy.." The little girl cutely pouted, the way Iksun taught her. Which drove Junwan to activate his 'whippedad' mode.
"Aigoo! My baby missed me?" He kissed her nose. "By the way, where's your mom?" Junwan looks around finding the woman he married, exactly 4 years ago.
He still remembers the day he married the love of his life. The vows, promises, sincerity and the love he had felt that day and until now- no, his love that he felt for Iksun goes deeper and deeper day by day.
"You really are so whipped to your daughter that you didn't even notice me.." She acted sulking.
"Who wouldn't fall for this little angel? huh?" Junwan cutely pinched Cheonsa's cheeks.
Iksun sulks more, now envying the two's undeniably charming relationship.
"Oh? Are you jealous?" Junwan teases her.
"Yes I'm jealous! Just a while ago, I was Cheonsa's favorite, now look at you two." She fixed her daughter's hair gently.
"Are you sure? Babe, aren't you jealous because I'm much closer to our baby than you?" He continued to tease her, grinning ear to ear just by seeing Iksun's flustered face.
"Yah! Stop this nonsense... C'mon Cheonsa-ya, let's eat with daddy."
Iksun holds her hand while following Junwan to their table. Cheonsa happily hops towards their seats, she was purely happy just by spending time with her parents.
"Oppa, do you remember the day you bawled out in the delivery room to the point Seokhyeong-oppa wants you to be kicked out there?" Iksun laughs as she vividly remembers that painfully funny scene while giving birth.

"gyosunim, this is emergency, Iksun says her tummy really hurts." Wang Imo panickly went to the nurses' station to inform Seokhyeong.
"Ah yes, Minha, check her please." Seokhyeong calmly orders and gets his phone to call Junwan. "Hey, where are you?"
"I'm here at the chicken restaurant across the hospital, Iksun said she is craving for some so I bought some. Why?"
"gyosunim, patient Lee Iksun has a contraction and I checked her, she is already in 10 cm dilation. I think she is ready to push." Minha informed.
"Your wife will give birth, hurry now!"
Just those words made Junwan end the call and quickly ran outside the restaurant. He even forgot to pay for the meal he took out.
"Yah come back-" the waiter tried to run after him but the owner eagerly stopped the waiter.
"It's on me, just let him be. He was here too last night saying that her wife is almost due, I'm guessing he'll be a father after a few minutes." The ahjumma smiled to the waiter.
Junwan wears the medical suit before entering the delivery room. There he sees Iksun lying down feeling a bit nervous and excited. Junwan holds her wife's hand with both of his hands and kisses it.
"You can do this, I love you." Junwan kisses Iksun's forehead.
"Alright, you are almost ready... Iksun, when I say push, push with all your might, arasseo?" Seokhyeong and the other residents get ready for the delivery.
For the next minutes, all Iksun does is pushing with all her might, grunting and gripping into Junwan's hand and collar.
"Oh, oh! There you go honey, you're close, you can do this!"
One push led into more pushes until she felt relieved after one more push. The room was covered by silence. Until the baby's cry conquered the whole room. As Iksun hears it cry, she felt many emotions in her heart. Joy and love mainly.
"Oh, congratulations Iksun and Junwan!" Seokhyeong gave the baby to the midwife to cloth it.
After a few seconds, the nurse put their daughter into Iksun's arms. Her crying is a melodic voice in her parents' ears.
Junwan closely looked at her wife and child, processing all these. Capturing these precious moments by his eyes, until he realized that this is all real. His dream and goals in life being achieved and complete by his loved ones. A tear drops, until he didn't realize that he is crying like a shower.
Junwan started to bawl and cry loudly there. Catching all the attention of the residents, nurses and midwives that have been attending.
They can't believe their eyes. The so called Thanos of Yulje, the cold, strict and no heart cardiothoracic surgeon crying infront of them. He cries there in the corner like a child. He looses all the cool and composure he has been taking care of since he became a doctor.
As Iksun sees this, she starts to tear up too.
"Iksun-ah, y-you... did good... I lo-love you.." Junwan caressed Iksun's face as he shed more tears.
They both held into each others hands and admired their baby, crying in unison.
"Hold her." Iksun offers to him.
"I dont- I don't want to.." He continues to bawl. Seokhyeong wanting him to get out and have him calm down.
"A wae?"
"I'm afraid. I'm scared, I might drop her..." He cries like a child that had been robbed of candy.
"C'mon now... hold your daughter." Iksun soflty persuades him.
He carries their baby with both caring arms. The moment he holds her, he feels warm and soft. It was really a love at first sight. He can feel her breathing in peace, moving in little actions, he hears and feels her daughter's heartbeat.
By far, all his life being a cardio surgeon, this was the best heartbeat he felt. The heartbeat of his and Iksun's child. The heartbeat of his flesh and blood. The heartbeat telling him that he is now a parent. The heartbeat of the outcome of Junwan and Iksun's unending love to each other.
"I love you both." He tells Iksun and Cheonsa.
Starting that day, he was no longer the cold-hearted prick Thanos. He was known as the softest person in Yulje medical centre.
