Ok
So William solace made me stay in the infirmary for three fucking days! None the less i was bored , so guess what i did . I decided to leave. Beacuse you know that's always a good idea.
Will found me6 unconscious on the floor of my cabin and I'm back in the infirmary again.
Yaaay!
Apollo kids walk around checking up on other patients . My bed is in the corner of the infirmary and the bed beside me is empty.
"You're fine but " I look up towards his face and his blue are looking in the direction of of a clipboard with papers on it.
"Since you ran away , your punishment " he air signs with two fingers ,
" is to help in the infirmary "
I do know something or two about first aid and home remedy. Antiseptic to small injuries , basil and honey as a cough syrup for younger kids just like my mother used to make me when i was younger , the temperature should me around 98°C. Yes I'm good .
I get up and start following him towards the front desk of the infirmary. On the table is antiseptic, burn creams, cotton , and bandages.
"So... I'm for first aid " he looked at my face
"Yes i figured you probably don't know much about it ," he looked at me up and down " because of your condition"
I looked at the scratches and bruises on my arm . " Sorry, i was too busy to care ". He simply smirked and started walking away.
I sat at the bench beside me defeated.
Blue ,green and purple bruises on my arms sat like blotches of dirty paint.
And then there was my watch . The glass on it was cracked from the side. I stole if from a cheap store. Whatever its name was , America was weird this way . Italy had various stores and stalls selling materials but shoplifting? Forget it . They would definitely catch you. Here in America were huge warehouse like Shops where you could get lost finding stuff . And shop lifting was the easiest thing when you can shadow travel in and out. Nobody will know.
The watch held a napkin underneath it sometimes. Whenever i had cut it would soak the blood . If that didn't work , just hold the wound under water while pressing onto it with your other hand. Maybe I'd help someone stop their bleeding like that today.
An Ares kid entered with a big wound on his knee . Fell of a tree , the regular. I drowned a swab of cotton in the antiseptic and started gently applying on his wound . The cotton turned crimson and more crimson .
"Do you have your tetanus shot up-to-date? "
He nodded a yes .
"It's kinda weird to see a hades in the infirmary you know? Did will allow it? "
I looked up and scrunched my eyebrows.
Nobody wants a hades kid near them , never every wanted .
I tied a cotton bandage around his knee and told him he was good to leave.
I was good to leave too . I walked back in scanning the room to look for will .
There he was beside kayla and a aphrodite girl i didn't recognise.
"- you need to get your hair shaved off , we can't do much about it. I'm sorry Drew ; you can talk to Chiron about it . He'll put whoever did this to dish washing duty "
He turned back towards me and asked how was it going on.
"It was good "
"And what was the injury?"
"Ares kid, i don't know his name... fell off a tree, a big scratch on the knee, has his tetanus shot up to date , bandaged it. " I spoke out the facts.
We was looking at my face , " okay then I have a break and I'll give you a break, wanna go out to the lake ?"
