Jason was sitting at Jake's playing pool when he felt her walk into the bar before he heard her voice.
“Can I get a beer please?” Sam said as she sat down on the bar and started to pick at the bar peanuts.
“Are you even going to eat those? Last I remember you didn’t like them?” Jason said next to her.
“That was a few years ago, maybe I do now?” Sam said without looking up at him.
“I guess that’s true but I doubt it.” Jason said as he leaned down next to her. “I would feel it if you changed.” He said in her ear.
Sam still felt that same spark she had always felt from him and he could see it in her eyes. Jason pulled back and looked at as he took her hand in his as the song “Use Me” by Wyatt Turner come on.
“What do you say? We go back to my place and you can take advantage of my cloudy head space.” Jason sang the words to the song to Sam.
Sam nods her head and with a few dollars thrown on the bar they left together.
