Work Text:
Draco shivered, chilled by this haunted house Harry dragged him to. Draco’d originally rolled his eyes at the muggle versions of witches and ghosts he’d seen wandering the streets for Halloween, but this house was actually creepy. There were noises he couldn’t trace and stuff oozing down walls he couldn’t name.
Worst of all was he couldn’t find Harry. They’d gotten separated at some point and his boyfriend was nowhere to be found. The stone walls made it cold deep within the recesses of the house, and Draco’s voice had echoed off the stones so spookily, he’d stopped calling out.
The hallways were dark and Draco cursed his inability to cast a Lumos . He saw a shadow ahead, heard a noise that sounded like Harry and Draco rushed forward, only to be terrified by a cat darting across his path.
He slowly backed up and then felt hands clamp his shoulders. He cautiously turned his head and couldn’t hold back his scream at the monster behind him.
And then—Harry’s laugh, pulling off the mask and doubling over in mirth.
“You were so scared!” he gasped.
Draco scowled before storming off.
“ TOSSER!”
Harry kept laughing as he hurried to catch up.
