It was a normal day. After Taka's student council meeting was over, the two of them would normally go home together and see each other the next morning. Everything was normal...
Right?
No, no it wasn't.
It all started this morning, before classes would begin.
"Hey there, big boy"
"Don't ever call me that again or I'm gonna use my big boy hands to punch you in yer ugly face, Leon." Mondo snarled
"Sheesh, okay okay. Don't be so grumpy, man! Mad that Taka and you don't have classes together this morning?" Leon quietly snickered. Bold move.
"Isn't it obvious? C'mon Mondo, he can't always be by your side" Aoi chipped in.
"Heeey, don't be so hard on him. Poor guy misses his boyfriend, y'all would be sad too" Yasuhiro joined the conversation by patting the bikers back.
"What the hell do ya mean by boyfriend, shithead?!" he yelled while aggressively turning around to face the fortune teller.
No word was spoken, just the friends all exchanging weird looks with each other.
"...You two aren't a couple?" Chihiro finally brought up the question that was on everyone's mind.
"Huh?"
"Yeah like, everyone assumed you were already together" Leon added with wrinkled eyebrows.
"Huh?!
"I agree. I'm also quite suprised" Sakura nodded while sipping on her tea.
"HUH?! Even you, Sakura?!"
"Yeah man, why the hell aren't you two a couple yet? Too shy?" the baseballer smirked, which lead to a waterbottle thrown at his face.
"Shy? Me? Hah! You guys are ridiculous. I could ask him right here and now if I wanted to!" Mondo proudly smiled, his chest wide out.
"Then do it." every friend said.
"H-Hah?" his once proud smile turned into a grimace.
"Do it then, man. It's so obvious you love him and he's kinda...you know" Leon ended the sentence out of fear that another waterbottle will be thrown.
"What is Taka?" the biker asked clueless.
"Gay. Does your stupid hair takes too much space for your micro brain?" Togami answered while standing up from his seat to leave the room, done from this whole conversation he totally didn't overheard due to his amusement.
"T-Taka is gay?" Mondo didn't know if he was relieved or more in despair.
"Like, totally." Hina rolled her eyes.
"What the hell is even straight about him? The stick up in his ass?" Leon giggled from his own (stupid) joke and Asahina totally didn't almost choke because of that oh so called joke.
"Everytime you two talk, I can see little hearts coming from every side of him" Yasuhiro unironically said, as if it was mindblowing. That cause a few minutes of silence and all of the friends looking weird at him.
"Yeah and your pupils being heartshaped" Chihiro giggled, him of course not getting a waterbottle thrown in the face.
"...Okay, Taka's kinda cute, yeah. But like, he's way too good for me. I'm already really thankful for being his friend but being together with him would be too much. And he probably doesn't like me back" Mondo explained, trying to end the conversation with an other topic.
"No, no, no, my dude! First of all, you're cool, ok? Second of all, Taka is 100% into you. If not, you can kill me, deal?" the baseballer grabbed the lovebird at his shoulders.
"...Yeah, okay. So, uh, I'll think 'bout it." Mondo, not so confidently, said.
"Hof awout ofta flassos?" Aoi suggested with a full mouth.
"She asked if you couldn't ask him after classes" Sakura translated.
"I-I don't know, ma-, girl..." the gang leader mumbled.
"You can do it, Mondo! Remember when I said I could never be strong enough to lift that dumbbell last year? Now I can handle two at once!" Fujisaki smiled.
"Yeah or remember when I wanted to bake that one cake all by myself and after the 3 tries still didn't managed it? You came and helped me and now it's one of the best cakes I can make! Asahina grinned, hitting Mondo on the back.
"Go for it, Mondo!" all the friends cheered.
Mondo definitely didn't wanted to cry. Nope, nope.
"C'mon, big boy" Leon smiled, opening his arms.
After a short group hug, that Mondo totally didn't enjoyed and after planning the confession, the schoolday passed very fast by and it was time for the confession.
"Is everything alright, Mondo?" Taka asked, the two of them standing infront of the gates, the biker still standing unlike his friend who was already walking.
"C-Can we talk?" he mumbled as an answer.
"Sure...Did something happened?" Kiyotaka was getting a bit worried. Was this the end of their friendship?
"What did he say?"
"Shhhh, Leon shut up, I can't hear anything!"
"You shut up, donutface!"
"I'm recording everything, we can hear what they said later"
"Oh okay, nice job, Chi!"
"Thanks, Hina"
"This conversation gives me weird vibes"
"Do those ghosts tell you it won't end well?"
"They're not ghosts. And also can't tell yet. There is a 30% chance that Mondo gets rejected and a 30% chance that they will be together."
"What about the other 40% ?"
"There are another 40% ?"
"Shhhh, all of you shut up now"
"Celestia? Where the hell did you come from?"
"I have a bet with Togami. Need to assure myself that I win"
"Well, then, cool"
"Shhh"
"Taka, I need to tell ya something...Something important"
"Su-Sure. Go on, Mondo" Kiyotaka uttered, scared of what will come now.
"I- huff. I like you, Taka. Really like you. Not the Kyoudai or bro-way. The-the smooching and cuddling-way, you know? I enjoy every moment with you. You're really important to me. No one in my fucking live ever gave me the affection that you give me every moment. I-I LOVE YOU, OK?! LIKE, THE OPPOSITE OF NO HOMO! FULL HOMO, TAKA!" Mondo shouted.
Oh fuck.

This was all bullshit!
"Ah" Kiyotaka began.
"Ahaha" he continued.
"Ahahaha!" he loughed in his loud voice.
Was he making fun of Mondo?
"Haha! Gosh Mondo, you can't imagine how happy I am" he grinned, tears leaking down his face due to his laughter (probably).
"I like you too, Mondo. Very, very much" he smiled. "Full homo" he giggled.
Oh, fuck.
"C-Cool" Mondo blushed like hell.
"C'mon, man! Kiss him already!" Leon shouted, coming out of the bush, the others doing the same.
"Shut the fuck up, Leo-!"
Well, let's say Mondo wasn't the one kissing Taka but Taka kissing Mondo in the end.
