Kelly’s POV
It had been days since I picked up that ring from my front yard. I don’t know why, but it had something to do with that battle. I kept it in my pocket after the fight ended, and place it in a jewel case afterwards. I knew that thing was magic judging from that battle, and I was tempted to fumble around with it, especially after the magic cookbook had dispersed all of its magic.
Little did I know, that ring contained a powerful form of magic, and it sent me to a place called the Underworld. But it wasn’t the Underworld that I thought it was, rather it was my own mindscape. That’s when I met the Clockwork Phantom, created by my own despair of wanting to keep the magic alive.
“Greetings, young lady.” She welcomed me in this strange place. “You may be wondering why you’re here.”
“Yeah, why did you bring me here?” I asked Clockwork. “I don’t want to be robbed of a normal life.”
“Well, you wanted the magic to return, am I right?”, replied the Clockwork Phantom. “Well, I’m granting you that wish…”
I’ve been hesitant to accept her offer. I wanted the magic, but I wanted to keep Darbie and Hannah safe. “Give me time to think, Clockwork.” I told her, thinking her deal would be reasonable.
“As you wish…”, replied Clockwork, disappearing as she does so. “Wait, I still have more questions!” I begged. Later, I woke up and figured it was just a dream. But it couldn’t be all real, right?
Christina’s POV
I became more concerned for Kelly ever since she found that ring. She became more and more curious with that thing as time goes on. So I called up both Darbie and Hannah to check up on Kelly. But this led to us being greeted by a monster. A Phantom as it’s referred to.
“Wait, what do you want from us?” I asked the Phantom.
“Oh, I don’t know, your Philosopher’s Stone.”, replied the Phantom. “I need that thing for my own survival.”
I don’t even know what he was talking about. This sort of thing is too much to process. And just like that, he promptly attacked us without warning. As it turns out, the Phantom was Gremlin, who was somehow revived by one of the rings.
No POV
As fate had put it, Kelly went out to see her friends, only to find the Gremlin Phantom capturing all of her friends, leaving her behind. This led to her being confronted by Clockwork once again. “Oh, I see your friends are in danger.”, remarked Clockwork.
“If you’re going to help, don’t screw with my head anymore.”, replied Kelly. “So, are you gonna do it?”
“Well, since you asked, I will.” Clockwork then gave Kelly the White Wizard Ring and the Driver On Spell Ring, allowing Kelly to equip the White Wizardriver.
“Driver On, Now!”
Kelly then shifted the White Wizardriver to its left hand side.
“Shabadoobie Touch to Henshin!”
“Henshin!”
Kelly then scanned the White Wizard ring on the Hand Author.
“Change, Now!”
With Kelly now the White Wizard, her first instinct was to use the Teleport ring and save her friends. “You’re learning pretty quickly, are you?”, asked Clockwork.
“My friends and I are no strangers to magic.”, replied Kelly. “Anyway…”
“Teleport, Now!”
They teleported themselves to a warehouse where Darbie, Hannah, and Chris are being held captive.
Hannah’s POV
I never thought we’d get captured, but here we are. Anyway, what does Gremlin want with us? I know he wants to sends us into despair. But then, Gremlin turned out to be a façade, as he revealed himself to be the Basilisk Phantom. “Thanks to you, I can now restart the Sabbath.”
Luckily, our rescuer had arrived. And it turned out to be Kelly. I knew this because both the White Wizard and Kelly have the same voice.
Kelly’s POV
This is probably the first time I used magic in forever. Maybe it’s because we gave the magic away. But this isn’t the time to think about this. I have to save my friends, but there’s just one problem. I don’t know how the Wizard Rings work. But I’ll learn eventually.
The first thing I did was using the Connect Ring, which got me my Hamel Cane, allowing me to attack the Basilisk Phantom with relative ease. However, he changed a portion of his body to mimic another Phantom, but Clockwork told me I could clone myself. So I grabbed one on those rings, switched to the right-hand side, and scanned them on the Driver.
“Dupe, Now!”
This allowed me to create a clone of myself, blocking the attack in the process. I then created another clone to free my friends. However, the Basilisk Phantom went and cloned himself. I kept thinking to myself, “That’s not how basilisks work!”, and then Clockwork pointed out, “Relax, Kelly. He’s only doing this because the plot says so.”
After that I grabbed a Spell Ring which depicts a large foot, shifted to the right-hand side again, and scanned it on the Driver.
“Yes, Kick Strike! Understand?”
I aimed my kick towards the Basilisk Phantom, destroying him, and all the clones have disappeared. All of my friends were freed. Later, I begin to wonder if I’m worthy to use this power. “Not everyone who uses the White Wizard Driver have malicious intentions.”, replied Clockwork. “You can use them for the greater good.”
And you know what? That’s exactly what I’m gonna do with my newfound magic powers. To protect my friends.
The end…
