Work Text:
It all started on one stormy night. Kyungsoo found it difficult to sleep with the sky wailing so painfully loud.
He had always been a light sleeper; could've been woken up with Chanyeol's snores or Baekhyun's puppy cries. So it was not a surprise that he woke up that night. Grumbling as he knew he couldn't sleep anytime soon, he decided to go out and grab something to eat.
“Jesus, fuck—” He cursed when he saw someone sitting on the dining chair, in the dark of the night. “You scared me. What are you doing?”
Their youngest had always been a deep sleeper, almost rivaling Jongin in that area. So to find him wide awake and alone was surprising.
“Can't sleep,” Sehun mumbled as Kyungsoo walked closer.
“Because of the thunder?” That was odd, he never knew Sehun was scared of thunder.
The youngest seemed hesitant to answer before with a tiny voice, he whispered, “hungry.”
Laughing fondly, Kyungsoo pinched his cheek out of habit.
“I'm serious,” Sehun whined, but letting Kyungsoo squish his cheek even more.
“Let me cook for you then,” Kyungsoo said as he walked to the kitchen. “Spaghetti sounds good?”

“Hyung,” Sehun opened the door slightly, not having the decency to be quiet because his purpose was to wake someone up.
And since Jongin was practically in a coma every time he slept, only one person was awakened.
“What.”
He heard Kyungsoo grunted, not even moving from his bed. His older members would not dare to say a word after listening to that tone, but Sehun was the youngest, and he was special.
“Hyung, I'm hungry.” He stepped into the room and sat on his bed. Another privilege as the youngest.
“So?”
“Make me something.” Jongin was still snoring even though he was being loud. How Kyungsoo envied that ability.
“Why don't you ask Junmyeon?” He hid his face under the cover, turning away from Sehun. “Didn't you say he was your favorite member? The closest ?”
Now Sehun might be young, inexperienced with personal relationships as he was only 22, and kind of slow at times, but he knew what Kyungsoo meant. His heart beat a little faster inside his chest.
“Hyung,” he whispered, slowly reaching out to take the cover away from Kyungsoo’s face. “Hyung, are you… jealous?”
It was a bet to ask that question, but it was about time before the question was asked.
Because despite being the closest to Junmyeon, Sehun’s cheeks only turned red for one person.
And he wanted to know if the other was feeling the same way. Or if it was true he harbored feelings for another member instead.
When he received no answer, he pulled the blanket away.
In the dark of the room, he saw the prettiest shade of pink on Kyungsoo’s cheeks, never been seen by anyone before.
Sehun was the youngest, and that made him special. But since that night, there was one more reason why he was special to Kyungsoo.

“You're twenty-five. Cook your own food.”
“I love yours the most. Please Hyung?”
“I swear you only love my cooking.”
“Nope. I love all of you.”
Kyungsoo sighed, but his face was burning red. “What do you want?”
“Spaghetti.”
“It's too troublesome. Choose something else.”
“But you love me,” Sehun said with a smug grin.
Kyungsoo made sure to show how much he loved Sehun after he finished his spaghetti.
Junmyeon screamed at the love bites the next morning.

“Hyung, I’m hungry,” Sehun whined as he entered Kyungsoo's room.
But only Jongin was there.
“He's... in the military, remember?” Jongin asked quietly when Sehun looked confused for a while.
It was heartbreaking, the sight on Sehun's face when he remembered. It had only been a week after all. Of course it was difficult to forget the habit of asking Kyungsoo to cook him a midnight snack, when he had been doing that for almost seven years.
In which four of them were spent as lovers, making their late night rendezvous more special.
“Oh, yeah,” Sehun said belatedly.
“He'll be back before you know it,” Jongin said sympathetically, beckoning the youngest to sit with him.
Sehun only nodded, despite knowing Jongin's words were lies, and curled to him, as he looked forlornly towards Kyungsoo's empty bed.

“Are you doing okay? Nini said you woke up again last night. The third time this month.”
“I'm fine. It's just a nightmare.”
“Nightmare? What nightmare?”
Sehun stayed quiet because it was a lie, and he was wondering if he should continue his lie or just confess.
“Sehunnie… it's okay to tell the truth, you know?”
Sehun took a deep breath and tried to smile. But looking at Kyungsoo's face on the screen made it difficult.
“Oh, baby…”
He wiped the tears that were flowing down gently. “It's—it's just,” he sobbed. “I just miss you so much, Soo.”
“Baby, I miss you too. Nine months left, okay Hunnie? I'll be there soon.”
“I want you here now.”
“Silly,” Kyungsoo said fondly, but his face was in pain. “I’ll be back soon.”
***
Sehun was awakened when he felt someone’s body fall on top of his. Why did Baekhyun wake him up so early?
“Get off,” he whined, trying to push him away.
“Is that how you greet your boyfriend?”
His eyes were shot open immediately. On top of him, lying on his chest, was none other than Kyungsoo.
His Kyungsoo.
He's back.
“Hyung!”
“Are you awake now?” Kyungsoo smiled, placing a kiss on Sehun’s lips. Before he could pull away, Sehun hugged him tightly and kissed him deeper, making him laugh in between the kisses. It was okay, because he missed him too.
But the sweet moment was ruined by Sehun’s angry, rumbling tummy.
“Did you skip your meals?” He teased fondly. “Come on. I'll cook you something.” Kyungsoo placed one last kiss before he stood up.
“Spaghetti?” The youngest asked shyly, holding Kyungsoo's hand.
“Spoiled.”
Their fans wondered why they looked so giggly during the VLive.
