Chapter Text

It's another day for H.O.T and Sechskies to have a showcase on the same day. The audience seats are packed with their fans each wearing white or yellow. The H.O.T and Sechskies members don't understand what's with the rivalry. They never met personally and there's no exact rivalry between them. The rivalry is just between their fans.

After the showcase, the members of each groups started to leave the brocasting station. All who were left are Tony from H.O.T and Jaeduck from Sechskies. They stared at each other for a while before Tony begins to talk.

"Hi." he says awkwardly.

"Hi." Jaeduck also says awkwardly.

They never talked to each other because of the "rivalry" between their respective groups. But it's a first time for anything, so they started to have a conversation.

"So... How are things?" Tony asked.

"Things are good..." Jaeduck answered.

"How are your members doing?" Jaeduck asked.

"They're doing great." Tony answered. "How about your's?"

"They're doing great too." Jaeduck answered.

They talked for a while until it was late at night. They ended up going in Tony's car. Good thing no one notices them going into the car together. Otherwise, there would have been a riot. They left the brocasting station and Jaeduck showed the directions to his apartment. Tony then drived to the directions given to him. They kept going onto the bridge at the Han River and noticed a car right behind them. As the car came closer, they tried to get farther away. But the other car keeps catching up with them. The car then went beside them and it tried to push Tony's car to the side. 

"Hey! What are you doing?!" said Tony.

But there was no answer. The car kept pushing them. It was also stormy so it was more dangerous. After many attempts, the car almost went off the road. Tony and Jaeduck were worried about what will happen. The other car pushed them off the road into the river. Then, lighting flashed towards the water.

Everything was blurry. Tony woke up as he thought he had woken up from a nightmare. Then, he realized he was in a hospital ward. He remembered what happened. A car pushed him and Jaeduck into the river. They must have been rescued. But then, when he turned to his right, he saw himself lying in the hospital bed next to him. 

"WHAT IS HAPPENING?" he mentally screamed.

Tony looked into the mirror. He didn't see his face. It was Jaeduck's. As he was figuring out what happened to them, his normal apperance(Jaeduck) started to wake up. 

"Thank goodness. And don't scream." Tony said as Jaeduck was about to scream his(?) lungs off.

"What happened?" Jaeduck asked.

"I don't know, but I think it has to do something with that other car that pushed us." Tony replied.

They stared at themselves for a long time before turning on the TV. As they turned it on, they saw something they had to see.

"Last night, a car was reportedly pushed off the road of the bridge of the Han River. The drowned car was driven by H.O.T member Tony An and Sechskies member Kim Jaeduck. The two were sent to a local hospital and fans are hoping that they survived. But they also wondered how they got into the same car. Police are still looking for the suspect who is responsible for this incident."

"Could it be a anti-fan?" They both said.

"It could be." Tony said.

"What about our activities? We can't perform like this." Jaeduck said as he was worried about what will they do.

"We should pretend to be each other until we find a way to go back to normal." Tony said

"Pretend? Won't they notice anything?" (Jaeduck)

"They won't if we act good enough." (Tony)

Jaeduck thought about it. "Fine. we'll pretend."

Chapter Text

As they were getting out of the hospital, their fans were waiting outside the building. They tried to ran into the two while the hospital staff tried to get rid of them, telling that Tony and Jaeduck were paitents in this place.

As they left, they secretly exchanged phone numbers so they can contact with each other.

"See you." (Tony)

"Yeah. You too." (Jaeduck)

Jaeduck went to the SM building and was shivering. He had never been into SM Entertainment and doesn't know anyone. But he gained the courage and went in the building. There, he saw the other H.O.T members.

"Hey guys!" (Jaeduck)

"Tony! You're okay!" (Heejun)

"Sorry we couldn't visit. We were just so busy." (Kangta)

"That's okay. I had some company with me." (Jaeduck)

"That's good. But why were in the same car with a Sechskies member?" (Woohyuk)

"... My car was the only one left, so I thought I'd give him a ride to his home." (Jaeduck)

"Well next time, don't do that. Okay?" (Heejun)

"Okay..." (Jaeduck)

For some reason, Jaeduck felt comfortable with the members. As like if he knew them from the begining. He thought that everything might be okay.

That's not to say for Tony though. He had a hard time with the Sechskies members. He had bombarding questions like

"Why were you in his car?" (Jiwon)

"When did this happen?" (Sunghoon)

"What happened in that storm?" (Suwon)

"How were you rescued?" (Jaijin)

Jiyong finished the conversation with "Next time, don't to that." 

Tony felt relieved when that was over. But he couldn't ignore the attitute with the questions. He started to think "How are these guys treating him? I thought they would treat me like a friend."

Later at night, Jaeduck texted Tony to ask where he lived. Since they're not in their own bodies they thought they might as well switch homes. Tony texted back with the directions to his apartment. Later, they called each other.

"How were things at SM?" (Tony)

"It was okay. The members were really nice to me." (Jaeduck)

"Really? Your members don't seem that friendly to me." (Tony)

"They're just like that. Just playing." (Jaeduck)

"Just playing? I don't think so." (Tony)

"What do you mean?" (Jaeduck)

"Well, first of all, they bombarded me with questions and I couldn't help but secretly reacting to their attitutes towards me." (Tony)

"Really? I didn't notice. Maybe they're just like that because I was in an accident with you." (Jaeduck)

"Maybe? I don't know. All I know is they might not be the best people to be with." (Tony)

"Just be with them. It will be alright." (Jaeduck)

"Okay. If you say so." Tony did not have a good feeling about this.

Chapter Text

It's been a week since the accident. The police still haven't found the person or people who caused it. Jaeduck and Tony were trying to used to each other's lives. And for the most part, things have been going smoothly. The members from H.O.T and Sechskies haven't noticed anything about their switch, and that's maybe a good thing. Because one, they might not believe it. And two, even if they do, they'll probrably ask them more questions than ever, especially on Tony's part.

The two called each other to see how things were going.

"So, how was today?" (Tony)

"It was great. We were getting ready for an upcoming concert." (Jaeduck)

"Really? I didn't." (Tony)

"What do you mean by that?" (Jaeduck)

"I mean, they didn't seem to care all that much about me. Or to them you." (Tony)

"They didn't? I thought they would." (Jaeduck)

"Well they didn't. By the way, what are you doing tomorrow?" (Tony)

"I have a day off. Why?" (Jaeduck)

"Me too. I thought we should meet to figure out our problem." Tony put a big emphasis on the word problem.

"Oh. I see. Okay. See you tomorrow." Jaeduck hung up the phone.

"Well, let's see how this goes." Tony started to have a bad feeling all of a sudden.

The next day, they met up at Tony's (now Jaeduck's) apartment. Tony had to disguise himself so no one will recongnize him. It has already been a riot when the accident happened and the fans will not want to see an H.O.T member and a Sechskies member together again. 

"So... what should we do?" (Jaeduck)

"First, we make a plan to switch back. I have a few ideas but I'm not sure they will work." (Tony)

"Well, we'll have to start somewhere. What's plan A? (Jaeduck)

"Running into each other." (Tony) Jaeduck imagined this will not go well.

They tried it, and it didn't work. All they ended up with are red spots on their forheads.

Plan B : Jaeduck jumps from the sofa then land on Tony.

That... didn't work either.

Plan C : Get into another accident.

"That one might hurt." (Jaeduck)

"You think? Well, I guess you're right." (Tony)

"Yeah... Now what?" (Jaeduck)

The day went by really quickly and they still haven't found a way to switch back.

"I have to practice for the concert tomorrow." (Jaeduck)

"So, I guess we try the next time we both have free time. See you." Tony left his apartment.

He took a taxi and went to Jaeduck's apartment. But when he got there, he had some unexpected visitors.

The Sechskies members were at his (Jaeduck's) door.

"What are you doing here?" Tony asked while staring at the Sechskies members.

"You didn't answer your phone so we came to see what's up." (Jiwon)

"I was just at a friend's house." (Tony)

"A friend? Do we know this friend of your's?" (Jaijin)

"No, and I don't want you to know. And NO, it's not a girlfriend." (Tony)

"Okay, okay. Just chill. We get it." (Jiyong)

After they left, Tony was relieved. He thought they have found out their secret. And that would be a good thing. Otherwise, there will be another round of questions for him. He later call Jaeduck.

"Hey. Your members were at your door." (Tony)

"What?!! What were they doing there?" (Jaeduck)

"It was because I, to them you, didn't answer the phone. So they came over to see what's up." (Tony)

"Oh, I see. That's a relief." (Jaeduck)

"Not quite. They asked me where I went." (Tony)

"And then what?" (Jaeduck)

"I answered that I went to a friend's house. And I told them it's not a girlfriend before they questioned." (Tony)

"Well... That's okay... I guess. So is that it?" (Jaeduck)

"Yeah, that was all." (Tony)

After a long phone call, Jaeduck thought to himself.

(Why do they treat 'me' differently? Like, I was just a normal high school student who loved to dance with his best friend. And then, I became an idol overnight.)

He thought long and hard to find out why they were treating Tony (him to them) so badly. He first thought that maybe it was because of the accident but then realized what Tony meant about them not treating him well before. And for a while, he felt comfortable with the H.O.T members instead of his own.

Chapter Text

Jaeduck was getting nervous. It's his first concert since the switch happened. He and the others practices for days for the concert. He had to learn all of Tony's parts because he didn't know any of them. He (Tony to them) had no idea that it was this hard both rap and sing. But after a while, he was able to manage. He even had to learn Tony's signature just in case he had to sign some things.

Finally, it was concert night. The audience seats are packed as usual with the H.O.T concerts. Jaeduck had never seen the audience in white because his group's color is yellow. 

"Hyung, are you okay?" (Jaewon)

"Y-yeah... I'm okay. Just a little excited." (Jaeduck)

"Okay. If you say so." (Jaewon)

They went to the stage to see a packed audience. Everyone had white balloons and wearing white raincoats. The fans were cheering for H.O.T. They sung and danced the night away. As they were performing Jaeduck noticed someone was wearing all black looking at him.

After the concert, there was a fan signing that wasn't even planned. But the fans wanted it so they did it anyways. Jaeduck was overwhelmed by how many fans were in front of him. He originally had about 100 people in front of him. Now he has about 10 times as many as he did in Sechskies.

"Oppa, you were great today." (Fangirl)

"Oh, yes. Thank you." (Jaeduck)

There were a lot of people in front of him. So many that he couldn't even count. There were about 2,370 people in his row and he couldn't imagine that many people when he was in Sechskies. He got a lot of compliments and signed a lot of the fangirls stuff. It was lucky he practiced signing because he would have hesitated to sign them since he didn't know Tony's signature.

"Okay, that's a wrap." (Staff)

"Finally, it's over." (Kangta)

"Two day break, here we come." (Woohyuk)

"Don't forget we have a magazine photoshoot at the end of the week." (Heejun)

The group disasembled and Jaeduck was about to go home. When suddenly, he felt someone grabbing his arm. He turned to see Tony in disguise in all black. 

"Hyung, why are you here?" (Jaeduck)

"I came to see the show. It's your first as me so I wanted to see if you can do it." (Tony)

"Oh. So, did I do well?" (Jaeduck)

"You did great! And I have a suggestion." (Tony)

"A suggestion? What is it?" (Jaeduck)

"I think we should live together." (Tony)

"Hyung, are you crazy? Our members and fans won't like it." (Jaeduck)

"That's why we're keeping it a secret." (Tony)

"A secret? Like secretly live together? Just the two of us?" (Jaeduck)

"Yes. That way we can keep up each other's schedules and help each other when we need it." (Tony)

"Okay, then. I would love to live with you." (Jaeduck)

Chapter Text

The next day, Tony and Jaeduck packed all of each other's things and went to the moving truck. They decided to live in the middle of the woods, so no one, not even their members, can find them.

"So, you all packed?" (Tony)

"Yeah. You too?" (Jaeduck)

'Yeah. Let's go to our new house." (Tony)

After a few hours, they reached to their new house in the woods. It was a two story house with white walls and a black roof.

"It's beautiful." (Jaeduck)

"I know right. Now let's get all your things out of the truck." (Tony)

After they finished unpacking, they went to explore the woods. They also marked the way with pieces of red string so they know where to go for directions. And best of all, no one will know that an H.O.T member and a Sechskies member are living together.

"Are you sure no one will know? Not even our managers?" (Jaeduck)

"I'm sure. Besides, I gave them fake directions so they won't know we live together." (Tony)

"Good one, hyung. Now we'll be safe." (Jaeduck)

"Yeah. Unless a fan or someone else follows us. Now that we've moved in, how about we talk about each other more?" (Tony)

"Okay. First of all, I come from Busan and I became an idol overnight. How about you?" (Jaeduck)

"Well, my real name is An Seungho. No one, not even my members know that. I'm from Seoul but moved to America when I was younger. I auditioned in L.A. and moved back to Korea to be a part of H.O.T." (Tony)

"Really? That's interesting. So your birthname is An Seungho?" (Jaeduck)

"Yeah. Only my parents and sister calls me that." (Tony)

They talked and talked throughout the entire afternoon and learned a lot about each other. After dinner, they talked about how the other Sechskies members were treating Tony (Jaeduck to them).

"I still don't get it. Why are they treating you, me to them, so badly?" (Jaeduck)

"Did they always treated you before this?" (Tony)

"I did have a few arguments with Jiwon hyung. But other than that I don't think so." (Jaeduck)

"Well, I think there is more than that. And I'm going to find out." (Tony)

"Hyung, don't you think you're overexaggerating. No offense." (Jaeduck)

"No, Jaeduck. I'm sure they're like that. And didn't you say you and Jaijin went to the same high school?" (Tony)

"Yes. Jaijin's been treating me well." (Jaeduck)

"Well, he treated me like I was nothing to him. Are you sure you're friends?" (Tony)

"I'm sure. Besides, maybe they're just like that because of the accident." (Jaeduck)

Tony wasn't so sure about that. He knows that Jiwon can be quite bossy but not to the extent of pushing him to the ground, yelling at him or just ingnoring him. He supposed that Jaijin was his best friend but the way he's acting now is not how a best friend acts. He doesn't know Sunghoon, Jiyong and Suwon that much, but he plans to for his next hypothosis.

Chapter Text

It's been a week since they moved in together. And as normal, they go to their (each other's) schedules. On Jaeduck's side, he's doing great. He and the other H.O.T members were getting along greatly.

"So, what does anyone want to do today?" (Heejun)

Jaeduck thought for a moment. "How about we do a film for our next concert?"

"That's a great idea, hyung." (Jaewon)

"Yeah. What theme should we do?" (Kangta)

"What about sci-fi?" (Jaeduck)

"That's good. Let's talk with the staff about that." (Woohyuk)

So they went to the manager and other staff. Jaeduck never felt like this before. Everyone actually supports his ideas. It's like he's being accepted for the first time. That made him think why Tony was talking about the Sechskies members not treating him well.

Speaking of Tony, he's not having a good time. He mostly stayed silent and when he did get to talk, the others never listened. His plan was getting to know Sunghoon, Jiyong, or Suwon and it might be his chance. While the other members left, only he and Suwon were in the practice room.

"So... What's going on today?" (Tony)

"What do you mean, hyung?" (Suwon)

"I mean, we're both here... I was in an accident... I was hoping we should get to know each other again." (Tony)

"Oh... okay. Mmm... We're in the same group, we barely talk in interviews." (Suwon)

"Wait. What do you mean, 'we'. You don't talk as much?" (Tony)

"You didn't notice? They rarely let us talk during interviews and conferences." (Suwon) 

There was a big emphasis on the word 'us'. This made Tony wonder, (Have they not treated Suwon well too?). Something was telling him that something is going on in this group. Or in this company. In DSP, there is Sechskies, Fin.K.L, Click.B, SS501 and more. Why is the company focusing on Sechskies more than any other group in the company. And if it is the case, why are they treating Jaeduck and Suwon badly?

(I mean, if they suffered this much, wouldn't they have quit?) Tony thought to himself. Then he had an idea.

"Hey, Suwon. I have an idea. Why don't we form a unit together?" (Tony)

"A unit? As in a duo? I don't know about this." (Suwon)

"Come on. It will be fine. It will be just the two of us." (Tony)

"Okay... If you say so hyung." (Suwon)

"I'm sure of it." His plan was going great. It's a chance to get to know Suwon even more. And with that, he can learn about the other Sechkies members.

What could go wrong?

Tony and Suwon later went to the CEO's office to tell him about their suggestion. At first, he didn't do it but they insisted. Well, mostly Tony (Jaeduck to them) insisted. 

"So, you two want to be in a duo?" (CEO)

"Yes. We thought it could be good for the group." (Tony)

"Mmm... Okay. But promise me that nothing will go wrong. We already had a few life or death incidents and we don't want another one." (CEO)

"Yes, sir. We will" (Tony, Suwon)

After that, Tony went home to tell Jaeduck about his plan.

"You did what?" (Jaeduck)

"Me and Suwon decided to be a duo together. Well, it's you and him to him." (Tony)

"What did you do that for?" (Jaeduck)

"I thought that being in a duo together would help me get to know him more. I heard about you and him not talking in interviews." (Tony)

"He said that? I didn't notice that he wasn't talking too." (Jaeduck)

'Yeah. It made me think that the company's not treating both of you well." (Tony)

"You think so?" (Jaeduck)

"Yes. By the way and no offense, if you knew that they were treating you badly, why didn't you quit? (Tony)

"Because... performing is my life. I loved dancing and still do. I just never get the chance to show my own dances to the audience." (Jaeduck)

"Oh..., okay. If performing makes you happy, then I won't bother." (Tony)

After a long conversation, the two went to their bedrooms to get ready for the next day.

The next day, Tony went to the DSP building to meet up with Suwon to discuss about their debut song. But when he got there, he was greeted with the other members in their confrence room.

"What are you doing here?" (Tony)

"And what do you think you're doing? Forming a duo without my permission." (Jiwon)

"We already consulted with the CEO, so there's no need to get permission from you." (Tony)

'But..." (Jiwon)

"Hyung, clam down. It's fine. They said they're doing it for the group and company." (Sunghoon)

"... Fine! You do what you want." Jiwon storms out of the confrence room.

"What happened?" Suwon just came into the confrence room as Jiwon stormed out.

"Jiwon hyung just got a little cranky, that all." (Jiyong)

"Okay... if you say so..." (Suwon)

Tony and Suwon talked with the producers and decide on a song. They decided to call their debut song 'Suddenly'. Now that they decided on a song, now it was time to practice for their first stage performance.

If only they knew about Tony and Jaeduck's little situation.

Chapter Text

Jaeduck was having a great time. He's practicing with the H.O.T members and no one noticed anything about his little secret. After practice, they decide to have a quick meeting.

"So, we decided on a concept, now we need to decide what to do for the fans." (Heejun)

Jaeduck thought for a moment. "How about we make bracelets for them? We make five and five lucky people will get them."

"That's a good idea. Anything else?" (Heejun)

"What about we switch parts for a song?" (Woohyuk)

"That's good. We could teach each other to sing and dance to our own parts." (Jaewon)

"I agree. Both ideas sound good." (Kangta)

"Then it's decided. We will make bracelets and switch parts." (Heejun)

Jaeduck felt happy. Ever since the switch happened everyone has been accepting his ideas and opinion. The Sechskies members never even let him talk about this thoughts. That made him wonder about the things that Tony said about his original members not treating him well. Because of that, he feels that he doesn't want to switch back, no offense to Tony though.

After that, Jaeduck left the company early to tell Tony about his day at work. But he didn't know that the other H.O.T members were having meetings without him. Which was a good thing for them, because they had a few conspiracies about what happen about him after the accident.

"So, what information do we have?" (Heejun)

"He's become a bit more quiet than usual." (Kangta)

"Yeah. And he's been leaving early every time." (Woohyuk)

"Actually, I went to his apartment the other day." (Jaewon)

"And?" (Woohyuk)

"The building onwer said that he moved away to live with a friend." (Jaewon)

"What friend?" (Heejun)

"That's the question. Even the building owner didn't know who it was." (Jaewon)

"Okay. That's suspicious." (Kangta)

"So, he became more quiet, he always leaves early, and he moved with a friend who we don't know about." (Heejun)

"Now our next mission is to find out whose this friend of his." (Woohyuk)

"Easier said than done. It could be anyone." (Jaewon)

"First we'll ask everyone in the company." (Woohyuk)

"But everyone are in dorms." (Jaewon)

"Then we'll check with other companies." (Heejun)

"Even DSP?" (Kangta)

"Not DSP. Remember? They're our rival company." (Woohyuk)

"You're right. So who should we start with?" (Jaewon)

This will go bad if they find out about his secret.

Chapter Text

A few days went by, and the H.O.T members (except Jaeduck (Tony to them)) were gathering to come up with a plan.

"Okay, What's the plan?" (Woohyuk)

"We follow Tony and see where he goes." (Heejun)

"Isn't that technically stalking?" (Jaewon)

"Yeah, but we have to. There he goes." (Kangta)

They took a taxi and follows "Tony" to wherever he goes. But after 30 minutes they lost him. It was like he disappeared into the woods. They didn't think he would go through the trees and shrubs but there was no way in. Or that's what they thought.

Jaeduck knew they were following him so he asked the taxi driver to lose the taxi behind them. He did and after he got off, we went through a secret door that he and Tony made. No one knows about the door. Well, except for the postman and local police.

"So, they tried to follow you?" (Tony)

"Yeah. I did lose them though." (Jaeduck)

"Good thing to know. Because, as you know..." (Tony)

"No one should know about this." They both say at the same time.

It was like the moment they first met, they became best friends. Of course, they had other friends, but they never had a friend who always has their support. They laughed to each other's jokes well and have the similar intrests, like books, movies, or room decoration.

The next day, Tony thought of something neither of them would think of.

"Hey, Jaeduck. Why don't we switch places today?" (Tony)

"Switch places? You mean...?" (Jaeduck)

"We wear the same clothes, and we go to our own companies to see what each group is going on to." (Tony)

"But what if they find out?" (Jaeduck)

"They won't. Because we won't talk at all." (Tony)

"At all?" (Jaeduck)

"Well, maybe a little. But we have to disguise our voices." (Tony)

"Okay... If you say so..." (Jaeduck)

So they wear the same black shirt, pants, socks, hats and shoes. They also face maskes to hide their faces.

"So, see you tonight." (Tony)

"Yeah. See you." (Jaeduck)

On Sechskies' side, they didn't notice Jaeduck even arrived. Well, Suwon did, but no one cared. This makes Jaeduck think that they are not treating him well, like Tony said. 

"Uh... hi..." Jaeduck tried to hide his voice.

"Oh. You arrived." (Jiyong)

"Yeah. I came like 10 minutes ago." (Jaeduck)

"So, we have a live show soon. Anyone have an idea for a theme?" (Jiwon)

"Umm... how about..." Jaeduck tries to talk but was soon interrupted.

"How about a space theme." (Jaijin)

(That's not good. H.O.T already thought up with a sci-fi theme for their's. Maybe they'll be on seprate days.) Jaeduck thought.

"When is it?" (Suwon)

"Next Monday." (Jiwon)

(That's not good either. H.O.T is having a live show then too. Maybe they'll happen in different places.)

"Where?" (Sunghoon)

"At JTBC studios." (Jiwon)

(Can this get any worse?) Not only they have similar themes, their shows are on the same days and same place.

"Which show?" (Jiyong)

"I think it's called 'Idols on Stage'." (Jiwon)

(Great! Things got worse. The rivals will meet again.) Jaeduck thought we was going to have a panic attack.

Chapter Text

After discussing their ideas, Jaeduck went out to the top of the DSP building to make a urgent phone call.

"Please, please answer." Jaeduck said anxiously.

"Hello?" (Tony)

"Hyung. We have a problem." (Jaeduck)

"What is it?" (Tony)

"Both H.O.T and Sechskies are having live shows on the same day and place." (Jaeduck)

"That's a problem all right." (Tony)

"I don't know what to do." (Jaeduck)

"Right now, there's nothing we can do about it. We just have to roll with it." (Tony)

"Okay. Hope that nothing goes wrong." (Jaeduck)

On H.O.T's side, the members were discussing about their chosen themes and presents for their fans. They already made the bracelets and practicing each other's parts.

"Tony. Where have you been?" (Heejun)

"I was answering a phone call. It was a friend." Tony partically lied.

"Okay then. Let's continue." (Heejun)

The members were practicing but it was hard. Well, except for Woohyuk since he's great at dancing. Heejun's doing Kangta's parts, Kangta's doing Jaewon's, Jaewon's doing Heejun's, Woohyuk's doing Tony's and Tony's doing Woohyuk's. Actually only for the day. By tomorrow, Jaeduck will have to do Woohyuk's parts.

After practice, Tony had to confess something. No, not his and Jaeduck's secret but about something else.

"About that phone call, it was a friend who called me." (Tony)

"And?" (Kangta)

"He said he went to DSP Media and overheard what they were talking about." (Tony) Some parts were true.

"And so?" (Woohyuk)

"The have a similar theme and our shows are happening on the same day." (Tony)

"At the same place?" (Jaewon)

"Yes, I'm afraid so." (Tony) There was a long silence,

(Great. What else is going to go wrong now. They already know about seeing Sechskies again and I don't think it's going to be pleasant.) Tony thought to himself.

"So what. We just don't have to talk to each other. That's all." (Heejun)

"Are you sure?" (Jaewon)

"Yes, I'm sure. Besides, we have more fans. And they won't cheer for them." (Heejun)

"That's a good point." (Woohyuk)

Finally, it was over. Tony was ready to go home and relax for the night. He took his car and drove to DSP to pick up Jaeduck and he was waiting for him. They went home but while they were parking, they heard a noise.

"What was that?" (Jaeduck)

"Probably nothing." (Tony) Or it was something.

They went through the woods to get to their house but they kept hearing noises. 

"Sounds like something is following us." (Jaeduck)

"Or someone." (Tony) 

They ran to their house as quickly as possible. But as soon as they reached their destination, they were greeted with uninvited guests.

"So, this is what you were hiding?"

"So, this is what you were hiding?" (Woohyuk)

Tony and Jaeduck were surprised to see Woohyuk in front of them and Suwon from behind.

"Why did you hide this from us, hyung?" (Suwon) 

"It's not what you think." (Jaeduck)

"Really? I know when you have secrets and I can tell you kept it for a long time." (Woohyuk)

"And we know who is who." (Suwon)

"Oh yeah? Prove it." (Tony)

"Well, Tony." Woohyuk said his name without any hesitation. "Suwon told me that "Jaeduck" became more confident ever since you decided to form a duo together. And I overheard your phone call ealier today."

"How did you know Suwon?" (Jaeduck)

"Like Woohyuk hyung said, I knew since we formed J-Walk and I've been watching "you" ever since." (Suwon)

Now that both secrets were out, they had to explain everything from the top.

"So, someone pushed you into the Han River and you woke up as each other?" (Suwon)

"Yes, it was stormy, and according to the news reports, the suspects are still on the loose." (Tony)

"So we've been like this for about 7 months?" (Jaeduck)

"Yeah. It's been almost that long. And we've been living together for almost 5 months." (Tony)

"That's a long time. How come you didn't tell us." (Woohyuk)

"Because we're supposed to be rivals. We're not supposed to see or talk to each other except during shows." (Tony)

"Our fans will go nuts if they find out we're living together." (Jaeduck)

"You've got a point. Also, there's already theories about how you two got into the same car." (Suwon)

"I offered Jaeduck a ride. I didn't think this would happen." (Tony)

"Yeah. I notice that the suspects tried to throw something into the car before they pushed us." (Jaeduck)

"Me too. It was some sort of liquid? And I know it wasn't rain getting into the car." (Tony)

"Maybe it was a potion of some kind?" (Suwon)

"That may be it. Witchcraft has been pretty common these days." (Woohyuk)

They turned on the TV. Their theory has been confirmed.

Last night, the suspects who tried to kill H.O.T 's Tony An and Sechskies' Kim Jaeduck were caught. The suspects are identified as anti-fans of both fandoms. They allegedly purchased a potion that was spiked with posion from a merchant. They all turned out guilty and was sentenced to a youth detention center as they were all still minors. The merchant who sold the potion is still being searched for.

That is what it was. Three teenage anti-fans had purchased a potion from a strange merchant to try and kill them. But instead of getting killed, Tony and Jaeduck switched bodies.

"So that's what happened." (Tony)

"Yeah. So, all we need to do is find that merchant." (Woohyuk)

"And make him tell us how to switch us back." (Jaeduck)

"But the police are still finding him. They could be anywhere." (Suwon)

"That's true. And we are in the middle of another problem." (Jaeduck)

"What problem?" (Woohyuk)

"Both H.O.T and Sechskies have shows on the same day at the same time with similar themes." (Jaeduck)

"Oh no. I forgot about that." (Tony)

Now that they figured out what happened and explained everything to Woohyuk and Suwon, they had to face another problem.

It was the day of the two groups' shows. Jaeduck was actually shaking. He never felt like this before.

"You okay?" (Woohyuk)

"Actually, no. I'm worried about their reactions." (Jaeduck)

"Don't worry. Everythings going to be fine. Tony's going to be there and he say he'll be watching them." (Woohyuk)

"Okay." (Jaeduck)

It was finally time to start taping. The cameras were rolling and the MCs came out to the stage.

"Welcome to Idols on Stage." (MC 1)

"Today, it looks like we have a competition going on." (MC 2)

"Yes. In this side, we have Sechskies." (MC 3)

"Hello. We are Sechskies." The Sechskies fans cheered.

"And in this side, we have H.O.T." (MC 3)

"WHAT?!" (Sechskies, except Tony)

"Hello. We are H.O.T." The H.O.T fans cheered.

"Looks like this is going to be some show. We'll start after the break." (MC 1)

They weren't supposed to but the Sechskies members came towards to the H.O.T members. 

"What are you doing here?" (Jiwon)

"We have a show today. We didn't know that you guys were here too." (Heejun) They start to argue

(I can't watch this.) Jaeduck thought to himself. Woohyuk looked at him worried.

(Why does this need to happen?) Tony thought. Then they looked at each other and nodded. They both pretended to have a headache.

"What wrong, Tony?" (Woohyuk)

"Just a little headache, that's all." (Jaeduck)

"You okay, Jaeduck hyung?" (Suwon)

"I'm getting a little sick." (Tony)

"Let's go get some fresh air." (Woohyuk)

"Come on. We have like 10 minutes." (Suwon) The others looked at the puzzled.

The secretly go to a empty dressing room to have a conversation.

"That was close." (Tony)

"Honestly, I was really getting sick of that." (Jaeduck)

"Yeah. And we have to careful. They shouldn't know about this." (Woohyuk)

"But they looked at us when we got out of there. I think they're suspicious of us." (Suwon)

"So, we have to be more careful. Remember, after the shows over, we find that merchant." (Tony)

"Yeah. We can't stay like this forever." (Jaeduck)

The others were still arguing until the break was over. They have to retain their competitive yet calm nature.

"So, first up is H.O.T!" (MC 2)

H.O.T got up on the stage. The managed to do each other's parts flawlessly. Jaeduck had no problems with Woohyuks parts because he was naturally good at dancing like him. The fans cheered on and wondered how long did "Tony" managed to do those moves.

"Next up is Sechskies!" (MC 2)

Sechskies got to the stage. They performed Road Fighter but with an almost spacey sound. Their fans cheered on but the H.O.T fans were not happy. They felt that Sechskies copied their concept.

"Those were great performances. Don't you think everyone?" (MC 1)

"YES!" (Fans)

"Well that was Idols on Stage. We'll see you next week." (MC 1)

The taping was finally finished. Tony, Woohyuk, Jaeduck and Suwon can finally go and find the merchant who sold the potion to the criminals. The four looked all round town but couldn't find anything.

"Found something?" (Woohyuk)

"Not yet." (Jaeduck)

"He has to be around here somewhere. Or we'll have to go to another city." (Tony)

"But we're too busy to do that." (Suwon)

"You're right. He has to be in Seoul." (Tony)

They had no luck today. So, they'll have to try again when they have any free time.

"Well, we're still switched. We might as well make the most of it." (Jaeduck)

"I guess. So, what do you guys want to do tonight?" (Tony)

"How about a sleepover at your place?" (Woohyuk)

"I'm in." (Suwon)

Little do they know, someone was spying on them.

"Why are they together? What are they talking about?"

They went to the house and had a great sleepover. The watched movies, had pillow fights, anything you do typically at a sleepover. But there was one thing. Woohyuk had the feeling that they were being watched.

"What's up, Woohyuk?" (Tony)

"Nothing. Just got the feeling that someone is watching us." (Woohyuk)

In fact, there was something watching them but they couldn't point out what or who it was.

The next day, the went to their respective companies and worked throughout the day. H.O.T had a magazine shoot and Sechskies had a variety show appearance. The good news is that they never met, which is good because of what happened on Idols on Stage, they don't want that situation again. After work, the gang met up and looked for the merchant again. They looked everywhere in Seoul and he wasn't there. So they had no choice but to go to another city to find him.

"So... When do we have time?" (Jaeduck)

"Looking at both our schedules, it looks like we have this weekend off." (Suwon)

"Then we leave Seoul on Saturday and come back on Sunday night." (Tony)

"That looks like the case." (Woohyuk) He still had a feeling that they're being watched.

Saturday came, and they packed their stuff for their search trip. They had to wear disguises because if they show up in their bare faces, there will be riots.

"So, where to first?" (Woohyuk)

"First, we go to Incheon." (Suwon)

"Great. We start with the closer cities, then we go to the farther cities." (Tony)

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" (Jaeduck)

"It has to be. Otherwise we stay like this forever." (Tony)

They agreed and headed on the bus to Incheon. After they got off, they went to book a hotel room and started to search for the merchant.

"Woohyuk and Suwon go together and me and Jaeduck will go together. Call us if you found something." (Tony)

"Okay." (Woohyuk, Jaeduck, Suwon)

They start the search. They looked everywhere. From the parks to the markets, even to the town square. They still found nothing. That is until Tony and Jaeduck found a strange tent outside a stadium.

"Woohyuk hyung, we found something." Jaeduck texted the directions and Woohyuk and Suwon soon came to the location.

"This is it?" (Suwon)

"It has to be." (Tony)

Inside they meet a merchant. They saw a lot of magical looking charms and potion bottles. He has to be the one.

"Hello, may I help you?" (Merchant)

"By any chance, you sold a potion to three teenagers?" (Tony)

"And did that potion had poison in it?" (Merchant) 

"Yes." (Jaeduck)

"It was my mistake. I saw the news and I'm glad that you survived." (Merchant)

"Well we survived, but he happened to switch bodies in the process." (Tony)

"How did that happen?" (Merchant)

"That's what we want to know." (Jaeduck)

The merchant looked through his book. "Oh. I must have given them the switch potion instead of the death potion."

"Death potion?" (Tony, Woohyuk, Jaeduck, Suwon)

"There is a difference. The death potion is one solid color while the switch potion is two colors in one." (Merchant)

"So how do we reverse it?" (Woohyuk)

"Yes. We can't keep up this act." (Suwon)

"Well, the first thing to know that it is curable but it's going to need some time." (Merchant)

"Then you can stay with us until you can fix it. We do have extra rooms." (Tony)

"Really? I been needing a place to stay for a while." (Merchant)

"We're welcome to have you. Let's go back to Seoul. (Jaeduck)

The five men went back to Seoul and the merchant moved into Tony and Jaeduck's house. He didn't have much luggage so that was nice. The only things he had were his books and trinkets. He keeps finding a way to solve their situation while they two have to keep switching places from time to time. They knew that they couldn't stay like this, so they keep trying. They managed to find a way.

"Here's a reverse potion. But it only lasts for a few days at a time." (Merchant)

"Well, few days are better than none." (Jaeduck)

"It's worth a try." (Woohyuk)

"But we need some special ingredients to make this." (Merchant)

"We can find them." (Suwon)

"That will be a big help." (Merchant)

They went out to find the ingredients for the reverse potion. Jaeduck and Woohyuk went together and so did Tony and Suwon. One thing though. They couldn't shake the feeling that they're being watched by someone.

"Now what are they doing?"

The rest of H.O.T have been suspicious of "Tony's" behavior since the accident. He suddenly became more quiet and timid. And after Woohyuk got involved, they decided to investigate what's going on with them. 

They've been following them for weeks trying to find answers to their questions. One day, while following them, they sees a house standing in the middle of the woods. They looks through a window and sees "Tony" and Woohyuk with Sechskies' "Jaeduck" and Suwon and a strange person.

"So this is what they were hiding?" (Heejun)

They listened to what they were talking about. Switched bodies? Potion? That had to be the answers they was looking for.

They thought about this. For an entire year, they've been working with Kim Jaeduck from Sechskies, not Tony An of H.O.T. After about a week of thinking, they decided to accept the fact. While at work, they decides to tell Jaeduck and Woohyuk about what they know.

"Tony. Woohyuk. Do you have a minute?" (Heejun)

"Sure, Heejun." (Jaeduck) They didn't know what was up.

They went to a empty confrence room and Heejun started to talk.

"We know everything." (Heejun)

Jaeduck gulped. This didn't sound good. "Know what?"

"I know it's you, Jaeduck." (Heejun)

"Heejun, you must be crazy. This is Tony, not Jaeduck." (Woohyuk)

"Wookhyuk hyung, you don't have to hide it anymore." (Kangta)

"Yeah. And in case you're wondering, we thought about this and we accept him." (Jaewon)

"Really?" (Jaeduck)

"Yeah. You seem nice and you're fun to work with." (Heejun)

"Thanks." (Jaeduck)

After that, Jaeduck calls Tony and tell him that the rest of them know.

"Did they accept you?" (Tony)

"Yeah. They were really nice to me." (Jaeduck)

"They are. Unlike your leader. He's been pushing me to do chores for him." (Tony)

"Maybe I forgot to tell you about that." Jaeduck said jokingly.

They laughed on the phone and Tony told Jaeduck to invite them to their house so he can talk to them again.

"You sure?" (Jaeduck)

"I'm sure. Because it's actually me that they will be talking to." (Tony) And he was right.

Later the evening, they all went to Tony and Jaeduck's house. Tony brought Suwon with him so that they will get used to another Sechskies member being with them.

"Uh... Hi?" (Jaewon)

"Nice to... meet you?" (Suwon) It was a bit awkward.

"It'll be okay. You'll get used to it." (Tony)

"Easy for you to say." (Heejun)

"Well lucky it wasn't Jiwon who's spied on us." (Woohyuk)

"Yeah. That would cause a riot." (Jaeduck)

"You think?" (Kangta)

"Yeah. He can be out of his mind sometimes." (Suwon) That's saying a lot from a fellow member.

"And this merchant was staying with you?" (Heejun)

"Yes. I'm been staying with them so I can make the reverse potion." (Merchant)

"It only last for a few days once the potion is made and spell is cast." (Tony)

"So thing will be normal again? At least for a few days?" (Jaewon)

"That's the plan." (Jaeduck)

"When did you find out?" (Kangta)

"Me and Suwon? We found out like two months ago." (Woohyuk)

"On the day before the Idols on Stage "incident"." (Suwon)

The others understood what they've been going through this past year. They decided to help them and the merchant with the potion and to keep the secret. No one should know about this and they've already been exposed twice. They don't want that to happen again.

On Sechskies' side, the rest of them never noticed anything strange about "Jaeduck" and Suwon. They thought that they were just hanging out without them. The following week, the CEO decided that they should do a charity concert.

"Why a concert so suddenly?" (Jiwon)

"It's a way to get more attraction than H.O.T. You want that, right?" (CEO)

"Well, yes." (Sunghoon)

Tony gulped. That didn't sound good. Not with the charity part but with the surpassing H.O.T part. That's going to be difficult. Then he has a plan. He and Suwon went to SM secretly to tell H.O.T about his plan.

"So, you want Jaeduck to go on stage?" (Heejun)

"Yes. On the last song, which will be 'Couple', they will see that they've been treating him badly." (Tony)

"Are you sure, hyung?" (Jaeduck)

"I'm sure. It's going to be worth it." (Tony)

It was the day of the charity concert. Sechskies were performing and H.O.T were in disguise in the back of the audience seats. It was time for the plan. They went backstage and switched Tony and Jaeduck's clothes.

"Now it's time for the closing performance. Here is 'Couple'." (Jiwon)

Everyone cheered. It sounded like this is their favorite song. Jaeduck didn't hold onto a microphone because he didn't have any singing parts. As they were half way through performing, he broke down into tears and collapsed.

"Hyung!" Suwon went to him.

The others didn't notice anything and they went backstage to H.O.T. 

"I'm sorry. I couldn't help it." (Jaeduck)

"It's okay. It's all part of the plan." (Tony)

The song ended. Sechskies were expecting cheers but got backlash instead.

"Didn't you see Jaeduck oppa was suffering?!"

"What kind of people are you?!"

"Are you even friends?!"

There were all kinds of bad stuff said to them. Then they realized that "Jaeduck" and Suwon aren't here.

"When did they..." (Jiyong)

"I don't know." (Jaijin)

"So, getting them backlash was the plan?" (Woohyuk)

"Kind of but not exactly." (Tony)

They left the arena and went back to the house.

The merchant was working on the reverse potion and was ready.

"Are you two ready for this?" (Merchant)

"Yes."

"Now, it only lasts a few days so I don't know when you will switch again." (Merchant)

"It's alright. We get to be ourselves again." (Tony)

"Yeah..." (Jaeduck)

"You okay?" (Tony)

"Oh... Sure..." (Jaeduck)

"Okay then. Here goes nothing." (Merchant)

He throws the vial and a cloud of smoke appeared. After the smoke cleared, Tony and Jaeduck were back to their normal selves.

"It worked." (Tony)

"It did." (Jaeduck)

"Now things can be normal for a while." (Kangta)

"That's great, isn't it?" (Jaewon)

"Oh... Yeah... Sure." Jaeduck's voice was kind of shaky. Tony was worried that the plan might backfire on him.

The next day, the news of Jaeduck breaking down at the concert made headlines. "Sechskies' Kim Jaeduck collapsed at a concert. Only member Jang Suwon helped him up. Why didn't they others do so as well? Currently, Sechskies and the company are receiving tons of backlash for allegations of mistreatment."

"This was not part of the plan." (Tony)

"What was the plan?" (Heejun)

"The plan was to let them see that they're mistreating him. I didn't expect allegations would get involved." (Tony)

He didn't expect anything except Sechskies realizing their mistake. What's going to happen now?

The backlash went even further with news stations getting involved. "Sechskies' Kim Jaeduck wore a mask for what reason? Was it to hide something or to not be in the spotlight."

This was getting worse as time goes by. Jaeduck couldn't show his face in public anymore. Tony thinks it's time to do the unthinkable.

"Are you sure, hyung?" (Jaeduck)

"I'm sure. I'm doing this for you." (Tony)

A few days later, they switched again and Tony went to a press conference to make an announcement without the CEO's permission.

"Hyung! Are you crazy?!" (Jaeduck)

"It's the only way. They already received enough backlash." (Tony)

"Now, Tony. Don't do anything too crazy." (Heejun)

Tony nods and heads to the reporters.

"Jaeduck-sshi. What is this thing that your announcing?"

"With all the backlash that the rest of Sechskies, minus Suwon, have been receiving, I decided to take a hiatus." (Tony)

"But won't the fans not like it?"

"It's for the best. I'm doing this for the group. And for a friend." (Tony)

"And who is that friend?"

"I'm not allowed to say." (Tony)

After a new hours, the conference ended. But not long after, the rest of Sechskies showed up.

"What are you thinking?! A hiatus?!" (Jiwon)

"I'm doing this for the group. Who wants a suffering idol?" (Tony)

"But..." (Jiwon)

"Hyung, stop it! You've already hurt him too much!" (Suwon)

"Suwon. You too?" (Jiwon)

"Listen, Jaeduck. You got this all wrong. We're not mistreating you." (Jaijin)

"Then how will you explain this." Tony pulls out a recorder. He plays the recordings of what the members were saying.

"So, tell me why Jaeduck hyung doesn't have any parts?" (Suwon)

"Because, his voice is so annoying and he's not even good at singing." (Jiwon)

"You're not that good at singing either." (Suwon)

"Watch your mouth, Jang. You'll regret saying that." (Jiwon)

"Now, now you two." (Jaijin)

"Hyung. This is not going anywhere." (Jiyong)

"Actually, I agree with Jiwon hyung. Jaeduck hyung is not that talented." (Sunghoon)

"Why are you saying those about him. He's great." (Suwon)

"Only to you." (Jiwon)

"I think I have to agree with that logic." (Jiyong)

"Come on guys. You're mistreaeting him." (Suwon)

"Mistreating him. We're just saying our opinions." (Jiwon)

"And Jaijin hyung. You guys were friends." (Suwon)

"We are but he changed." (Jaijin)

"He's unworkable now." (Sunghoon)

"And he can't even keep his mind together." (Jiwon) The recording ended.

"When did you record that?!" (Jiwon)

"I placed a microphone in Suwon's pocket and recorded everything." (Tony)

"Why did you... I thought that..." (Jaijin)

"Why are we friends? I think the question should be: Why should we be friends?" (Tony)

"But..." (Jiwon)

"No Buts. Now, if you will excuse me." (Tony)

"Hyung, wait!" (Suwon)

"What up with him?" (Jiyong)

"I don't know but we're going to find out." (Jiwon)

Back at the house...

"Don't you think you took it too far?" (Woohyuk)

"No. They need to think about what they've been doing to him." (Tony)

"So, what are you going to do now?" (Jaewon)

"Work on additional work as well as being there for Jaeduck." (Tony)

"You mean..." (Jaeduck)

"Jeaduck, I'm doing this all for you." (Tony)

"Hyung. You don't have to. You're always protecting me." (Jaeduck)

"I'm just doing what's right." (Tony)

Is this what's right? Taking a hiatus is okay in all but doing that and threatening the Sechskies members is on the side of being not cool. What will happen during this time?

A few weeks passed since the annoucement. Jaeduck was relieving his stress and anxiety throughout that time and H.O.T and Suwon were there to support him. One day, he and Tony were out shopping. They were wearing disguises to they won't be recognized in public.

"So, what else do we need?" (Jaeduck)

"A few books and magazines will do." (Tony)

They were on their way to the store but then bumped into a teenage girl.

"Oh... I'm sorry." (Tony)

"No, it's... Wait... Tony oppa!" 

That was not good. She was an H.O.T fan. As soon as she shouted his name, the girls around them started to run towards them.

"Look!"

"It's really him!"

"Run for it!" (Jaeduck)

Jaeduck pulls his arm and they run for their lives. They ran so much that they couldn't catch their breath. As soon as they thought they lost them, Jaeduck realized he lost his hat.

"Look! It's Jaeduck oppa!"

"Wait, really?"

This time it was Sechskies fans that were chasing them. Then the two fandoms meet again.

"What are you doing here?"

"We were chasing Tony oppa."

"Tony An? He's not here. We were chasing Jaeduck oppa."

"Wait."

"You don't think..."

Both fandoms chased them and as Tony and Jaeduck were running, they switched again. Still, they kept running.

"Go on. I'll distract them." (Tony)

"Hyung, no!" (Jaeduck)

"Hey. Sechskies fans. I'm over here." (Tony)

They split up and as they lost the fans, they met at the intersection and crossed the street. As they were crossing, the fans found them and tried to chase them again. Then, a car rushed in, even though it was a red light.

"WATCH OUT!" (Jaeduck)

Jaeduck covered for Tony and got hit by the car. Everyone around saw everything and called the police and 911. But Tony saw that his body was bleeding so much, he carried Jaeduck and went to the nearest hospital.

"Yes. How may we... Oh my god!" (Nurse)

"Please help him! It's urgent!" (Tony)

"Yes, sir. We're on it." (Nurse)

He registered him as An Seungho because that's his real name and no one (except Jaeduck, Suwon and H.O.T) knows his real name so fans can't find him. He called Suwon and H.O.T to tell them what happened and to come to the hospital.

"So, you were chased by fans?" (Heejun)

"From both fandoms?" (Kangta)

"And a car rushed in at a red light?" (Jaewon)

Tony couldn't answer by talking. He was so scared. Why did Jaeduck cover for him?

"You know, he said to me that he always wanted to protect you." (Suwon)

"Protect me?" (Tony)

"Since you were the one always protecting him, he wanted to do the same thing." (Suwon)

"But this is not what I wanted." (Tony)

"I know it is but it's going to be alright. The doctors said that he's alive and well." (Woohyuk)

"But when is he going to wake up?" (Tony)

That question can't be answered right now. It needs time to be answered.

The following day, the accident made headlines. "H.O.T's Tony An and Sechskies Kim Jaeduck were involved in another accident. This time they were hit by a car, drove by a drunk driver. The driver of the car was arrested for a D.U.I and it was reported that Kim took An to a hospital by himself."

That caught the attention of the remaining four Sechskies members.

"He was with Tony An again?!" (Jiwon)

"Hyung, let's not get too worked up." (Jaijin)

"Why?! He was with our rival again! Are you going to take Jaeduck's side?!" (Jiwon)

"Not with the part where he was with Tony An but yeah." (Jaijin)

"Why are you doing this?!" (Jiwon)

"Hyung. Maybe Suwon's right." (Sunghoon)

"Yeah. Maybe we have been mean to him all this time." (Jiyong)

"Not you too. Do I need to get your brains repaired?!" (Jiwon)

"No but think about it. We've been treating him so badly. And as a friend, well, former friend, I'm sure of that." (Jaijin)

"Fine! But I'm still not forgiving him for being with Tony An twice and taking a hiatus without my permission." (Jiwon)

Well. that went better than expected. Sechskies are finally realizing their mistakes. Now all they have to do is find Jaeduck and apologize to him. But he could be anywhere. Who do they need to see in order to find him?

Chapter Text

It's been months since Tony's (actually Jaeduck's) accident. He still hasn't woke up and Tony was starting to get more worried by the second.

"Wake up. Wake up." (Tony)

"Chanting "Wake up" is not going to help." (Heejun)

"Still, it's been months and the reverse potion only works if both of us are conscious." (Tony)

"I know what you mean but the only thing now is to be patient." (Woohyuk)

Tony sighed and looked at the unconscious Jaeduck. The others were also worried about him.

Meanwhile, on Sechskies side...

"Where is he?" (Jiwon)

"I'm not telling." (Suwon)

"And why not?" (Jiwon)

"It's his hiatus and I promised him." (Suwon)

"Hyung. Being mad isn't helping." (Jiyong)

"Suwon. We realized what we were doing. Even Jiwon hyung." (Jaijin)

"And we want to apologize." (Sunghoon)

"Well that's gonna have to wait." (Suwon)

Suwon left them and went to the hospital to check on Jaeduck. The others decided to follow him. The followed him to a hospital but were stopped by one of the attendents.

"I'm sorry. This hallway is restricted except for a few."

"But our friend went in there." (Jaijin)

"He's one of the people who have permission. And you do not."

"Can you tell us who's the patient he's visiting?" (Jiwon)

"That, I can't tell either." 

"What is up with people these days?" (Sunghoon)

"Restricted areas? Suwon went in it. Could it be Jaeduck?" (Jiyong)

"I don't think so. The news said that Jaeduck carried Tony An." (Jaijin)

Tony was in the hospital room for days and still nothing happened.

"Mister Kim. I think you should go home."

"Not until he wakes up." (Tony)

"I know you're sad but we can assure you that he's alive." 

"Then, I'll come back tomorrow. Thank you, doctor." (Tony)

He went home and saw the merchant reading a magazine.

"So, how is he?" (Merchant)

"He's still unconscious but is still kicking." (Tony)

"That's nice to know." (Merchant)

The merchant looked at Tony as he was looking at a picture of him and Jaeduck together on vacation.

"You miss him, don't you?" (Merchant)

"Yes. All the time." Then, Tony gets a phone call. "Hello?"

"Hyung!" (Suwon)

"Suwon? What is it?" (Tony)

"The others..." (Suwon)

"The others what?" (Tony)

"Their threating me to tell them everything!" (Suwon)

"What?! Where are you?!" (Tony)

"In waiting room 267 in the company building." (Suwon)

"I'm coming! This has gone too far." (Tony)

"I'm coming with you." (Merchant)

"No. It's too dangerous." (Tony)

"I'm the reason for all this. I should be responsible." (Merchant)

"Okay. If you know what you're doing." (Tony)

They rushed to the DSP building and ran to room 267 to see Suwon tied up in the chair with his mouth taped.

"Okay. This is really bad." (Tony)

They freed Suwon and he cried.

"Hey... Don't cry." (Tony)

"I... was so scared." (Suwon)

"You did well. I'm proud of you." (Tony)

"Well, well. Look you showed up." (Jiwon)

"Eun Jiwon. Don't you think you took this a little too far?" (Tony)

"Watch your mouth, Kim. And call me hyung." (Jiwon)

"How can I if you are even treating Suwon like this?" (Tony)

(And also, in reality, we're the same age.) Tony said in his mind.

"Jiwon hyung. Really! We shouldn't do this." (Jaijin)

"You too, Jaijin? What should I do as a leader to get you to do what you're supposed to do?" (Jiwon)

"How about you give us some freedom to let us say our opinions?!" Tony yelled at him.

They others, except Suwon and the Merchant, were surprised that "Jaeduck" had to confidence to yell at them.

"You've been treating me like trash and now you're being nice to me?! What good does that bring?!" (Tony)

"Nevermind that. Who's that guy?" (Sunghoon)

"I'm the merchant responsible for their first accident." 

"So, you're the one who sold the death posion?" (Jiyong)

"Luckily, it wasn't the death posion, so no." (Merchant)

"So what was it?!" (Jiwon)

Tony, Suwon and the merchant hesitated for a good while. They looked at each other and feels like they should know the truth.

"It was a switch posion." (Merchant)

"Switch posion?!"

"Like switching places?" (Jaijin)

"Yes. Which means the Jaeduck that has been with you for the past year wasn't really Jaeduck." (Merchant)

"So... who's this right now?" (Jaijin)

The person who was supposed to be Jaeduck took a deep breath in and out until saying, "Tony. Tony An."

"WHAT?!"

Chapter Text

There were so many questions coming to Tony that he couldn't keep up.

"So, it was you this whole time?!" (Jiwon)

"Yes. And no need to shout." (Tony)

Jiwon bombarded him with questions while the others and the merchant reassured Suwon to make sure he's okay.

"Look, I now you're mad but we didn't have much of a choice." (Tony)

"Does H.O.T know too?" (Jiyong)

"Yes. They found out months ago and they took this news a little lighter than you did." (Tony)

Just then, Tony got a call from the hospital.

"Hello?" (Tony)

"Yes? Mister Kim. Your friend is awake."

"I'll be right over." (Tony)

"What is it?" (Jaijin)

"Jaeduck's awake!" (Tony)

"Can we go with you?" (Jaijin)

"Only if you promise that you will apologize for everything you did to him." (Tony)

"We will. Cross our hearts." (Sunghoon)

"Even you." Tony points at Jiwon.

"Fine!" (Jiwon)

They went to the hospital and went to Jaeduck's room. When Tony opened the door, he was happy to see Jaeduck awake. Jaeduck, on the otherhand, asked Tony why the rest of Sechskies were with him and he told him everything.

"So, you were with H.O.T this entire year?" (Jaijin)

"Yeah..." Jaeduck said in defeat.

"Why didn't you tell us that we were treating you badly?" (Jaijin)

"I thought you knew. And I thought you didn't care." (Jaeduck)

"Well, we do care for you." (Jiyong)

"We're sorry, hyung." (Sunghoon)

"Even Jiwon hyung?" (Jaeduck)

Jiwon sighed and then said, "Yes. Even me."

They called the rest of H.O.T to a meeting at the house after Jaeduck was discharged.

"So, now that everyone knows, we should all get used to this." (Heejun)

"Easy for you to say." (Jiwon)

"Hey! Just because you're the oldest in your group doesn't mean you can say bad things about everyone." (Woohyuk)

"Now, now. After all, we're all around the same age." (Jaewon)

"How long have you known?" (Sunghoon)

"Me and Suwon, a year and a half ago. The others, half a year ago." (Woohyuk)

"And this merchant has been living with you?" (Jaijin)

"We needed him to make a reverse posion." (Jaeduck)

"How long does it last?" (Jiyong)

"It depends. Sometimes it can take a few days at the most." (Merchant)

A day after that little meeting, Tony annouced that he will end his hiatus and rejoin Sechskies again. They promised that they will treat him and Jaeduck nicely. H.O.T and Sechskies still remain rival through their fanbases but became friends after their official greetings at the house. They started to hang with each other a bit more. Kangta and Sunghoon bonded with their singing, Jiyong and Woohyuk talked about business, and Jaewon and Suwon easily got along because they were the maknaes of their groups. Jiwon was a bit stubborn but is starting to open up and hang with Heejun more and more.

"Now everyone is getting along." (Jaeduck)

"Just like us." (Tony)

"Do you think this will be the same?" (Jaeduck)

"Well, we'll have to see about that. But one things for certain." (Tony)

"What's that?" (Jaeduck)

"We'll always have each other's backs." (Tony)

They laughed and lived their lives to their best.
