Izana Kurokawa wants to rule. Like the king he is. He wants to take over every gang he sees and let them know who's superior to them. He wants to seize everything.
Or so he thought.
Not when his gang was right in front of him, clearly losing from the opposing gang. Not when he saw even in their death, Shinichiro Sano and Emma still sided with Manjirou. That lits a fire of his rage within him. Just why? Why do they always choose the other? Why do they always stays by his side? Why does the people around him do not want him? Why? Hatred and jealousy took over him. Those feelings that he had suppressed a long time now appeared out of nowhere. Taking over his whole system.
"Tenjiku lost Izana!"
No. He won't accept it. Not when he knows there's still a chance for them to win, and by that chance he means by taking someone's life. By that, it's Manjirou's life, the boy whom he loathed the most.
"SHUT UUUUUP!"
His servant telling him what to do?! Don't make him laugh. He'll do anything just to get what he wants, he'll destroy Manjirou, he'll burn him into ashes if that what it takes for him to be Shinichiro. Then he'll rule over his gang, and create a new era—
One shot. A loud deafening one.
That's what all it takes for Izana to come back into his senses. There's Kakucho, bleeding in front him. What... Why? Why is this happening? Why?
Then an another three piercing sound of gunshots.
His body moved on his own that he just noticed himself falling into the ground. Blood spilling from his mouth. Oh,how did this happen? Ah yes. He catched a bullet for Kakucho. For his servant.
"Ah, I don't want to be alone." Is what he thought the moment he realized something. He realized that he doesn't want to create an era alone, he wants to do it with Kakucho.
His body, it's exhausted. He couldn't move anything from it. And something.,.hurts. He don't know if it's the shot or something else. Maybe both. Memories started to reappear, those memories that he buried now hunts him in his final moments. From the moment he bid his farewell to his dear sister, Emma. The time where he met Shinichiro, their bonding, and that certain time where he discovered his origin.
What does Izana Kurokawa really wants? If you ask him, it is to rule. Without any hesitation, that is his answer. But his thoughts seems to be in disarray now that he's breathing his final breathes. With Kakucho laying beside him, words blurred in his ears. The only thing he knows was that Kakucho was there, always, for him.
Now, Izana learnt what he truly wants. He wants someone to understand him, to stay with him despite his origins. And Kakucho was the one who did that, his wishes was right there all along. He just realized it too late.
