Vernon's curiosity took over when he saw the unopened candy wrap along with the one Seungcheol had emptied probably the night before, He slowly pushed it to his pocket before calling the others, informing them that he had found the cause of Seungcheol's sudden transformation.
That lead him to this moment, alone in his room with the candy he retrieved from earlier sitting in front of him.
It's expired.
It shouldn't work anymore.
And yet he opened it anyways.
Wonwoo barged in the room at the same time and looked at him weirdly, Vernon shrugged. "What? I was just curious."
"Isn't that expired or something?" Vernon nods at his question, "And you were about to eat it?"
"No!" Vernon frantically shook his head, "I just wanted to see what it looked like."
"But wouldn't it be interesting to try though?"
A grin formed on the two rapper's faces, Wonwoo walked towards him and sat on the bed. "Guys! Vernon found someth-"
A mouth covered Wonwoo's mouth, but it was too late. The rest of the members pooled in his room and Vernon could only sigh in defeat. "What is that?"
Vernon's hand left Wonwoo's mouth to pick up the candy, "It's the thing Seungcheol tried."
Joshua tried his best to not look excited over it.
"Interesting." Seungkwan laughed. "Do you want to try it?"
Everyone nodded their head.
"Maybe we can wait for Seungcheol and Jeonghan to get back home? I don't think this is a good idea." Joshua furrowed his eyebrows in concern, the members getting weird ideas isn't new but this... wasn't their leader turning into a baby enough?
"It's expired, Joshua. We're just going to try." Wonwoo says.
"Out of all of us here, I thought you were going to be against this." Joshua rolls his eyes playfully before leaving the room.
"Well, I get the biggest share because I found it." Vernon didn't wait to hear their complaints before taking a big bite out of the gum-like candy, the taste of strawberry hit his tastebuds almost immediately without even having to chew it. "Cool."
"Okay now, let me try." Wonwoo takes the candy from a giggling Vernon's hand and took the smallest bit he could manage before the next member did the same. Mingyu complains about how he got the smallest amount and huffed about how he could barely taste it.
Or maybe because it was expired.
"Did we just willingly eat an expired candy?" Jihoon's high-pitched laugh fills the room after a moment of silence, the others start cracking up when they realized what they just did.
Vernon on the other hand though, was dizzy. He laughed it out despite the member's voices turning into these deep echoes until all he could see was blurred figures and then after that, darkness.
Yeah, expired candies are a bad idea.

"I told you I can handle alcohol better." Jeonghan teased him as he guided Seungcheol into the elevator, the leader let out a sarcastic laugh.
"I was just tired."
"Yeah, sure." Jeonghan rolled his eyes, Seungcheol continued to defend himself and prove that he wasn't drunk at all. Even as they neared the door of their apartment where there were very strange yet familiar noises muffled by the door.
Seungcheol seemed to notice it as well and removed his hand from Jeonghan's shoulder to open the door himself, he pushes it open and there he saw his members.
But as babies.
"Seungcheol, We can explain."
