Work Text:
Gwen glanced at her hot cocoa mug on the coffee-table. “You know, if we dunked sufganiyot in there…”
“Don’t finish that sentence.” Peter took another sip next to her on her couch.
“Why shouldn’t I?” Gwen asked, fake-offended.
“Death by sugar! Then again, you do wanna live in a chocolate house.”
Gwen snorted. “Like you’re so logical, Mister In-Love-With-That-British-Actor-Guy-From-Those-Old-’50s-Romance-Movies-Who’s-Been-Dead-For-Like-Ten-Years.”
“You thought he was hot too.”
“But you’re cuter, bug-boy.” She leaned back into him.
Instinctively, he put an arm around her. This was really nice. They were together for Chanukah...
And he would never let that fall away from him.
