"Hey, kid." Meimi groaned, hoping that Rosemary wouldn't talk to her in a battle of a /fucking/ fight.
"What do you want, Rosemary?" The girl humored Rosemary.
"You have an accomplice, don't you?" Meimi's anger increased.
"Fuck off!" She roared at the woman, enraged that Rosemary would ask about her. Rosemary staggered back in fear. /So she does have one./
The woman gulped, now seeing why Meimi mirrored her mother more than her father. "Hey now, there's no need for that."
Rosemary knew that she had crossed the line when she noticed how /sour/ Meimi's face had looked. "There was no need for you to ask." Meimi was still very angry and Rosemary didn't know why.
She didn't know who it was so she couldn't make a threat against them. Rosemary's eyes widened when she realized something. /The girl. The girl that was with her when she used a hot air balloon./ "That girl that was with you..." Rosemary couldn't go any further than that because Meimi had immediately attempted to punch her. Rosemary moved away but she realized that her guess was correct because Meimi wasn't just glaring at her; she was downright terrified. /Seira./ Meimi thought, not wanting anything to happen to her.
Meimi started to speak. "She...She's not important." Lie. Rosemary could practically /taste/ the lie. The look in Meimi's eyes told Rosemary exactly what she was looking for. The other girl was Meimi's weakness.
"So I grabbed the wrong person." Rosemary stated and Meimi staggered back.
"You wouldn't." Meimi was horrified. "Y-you can't." /I need to calm down. Rosemary doesn't even know Seira's name./ The girl thought.
Meimi was trying to calm down before Rosemary could figure out who she was talking about. /I can't let her know. Seira is too sweet to get caught by her./ Meimi cared too much about Seira to let Rosemary have her.
She didn't want Rosemary's grubby hands all over Seira. She didn't want the woman to hurt the girl she loves. /Love?/ Meimi thought, not surprised but definitely pleasantly okay with her own personal confession.
