Chapter Text

"SHATTER HER!!"

Yellow Diamond Screeched. The soft tapping of your feet followed by heavy thuds of the Amethyst guards chasing you through the cyan corridor. The alarms echoing throughout the building. An eerie harmony that had already alerted just about every gem within the establishment. What did you do to warrant this? Oh..that's right.. you said something you probably shouldn't have.

"Get back here dumb g/n! Make this easier for us would ya!?" Heaved the Amethyst that is just about 3 inches away from you. "No way! Maybe your pompous Diamond a' yours should learn ta take criticism without throwing a tantrum all tha' time!" You retorted. You were right, Yellow Diamond wasn't the type to take anybody's opinion without losing her cool. It's why you decided to wind her up. You sort of found it amusing. After a couple minutes playing cat n' mouse, you catch sight of the entry-way to the station where they kept their most powerful space ships. You never got to go into one before. Rather envious of those who could. But that was then, here is now! You pretty much leap face-first through the doorway before steadying yourself. Backing up against the side, you face the two very much agitated Amethysts. Huh...only two? You were sure you'd take a lot more effort to catch. It was rather insulting.

"H-hey" You start. Within all your years of serving the Diamonds, you had noticed a strange pattern of Amethysts being.. mistreated. They must be tired really, all that pressure. You knew Amethysts were hardened gems but they could only take so much.. maybe you could offer these two an opportunity to leave?

"Don't you get tired of being betlittled all the time, for being Amethysts no less. Why not join me? You could see so much more, do so much more. It's got ta' be better than here, right?" You offered, not missing the looks of shock from both offenders. Silence. Complete silence from both of them. One pulled a look, as if thinking about it for a moment. The other staring at something. After what felt like ten minutes of silence other than the blaring alarms and yelling of the approaching guards. Both Amethysts turn to you with need in their eyes. "S-so..? What'll it be?" You outstretch your arm in anticipation. "You.. want to leave?".

"You know what? YEAH!" One of them- a Amethyst with darker appearance yelled before completely hauling you into the nearest ship.

"I know how to operate this type of ship, so leave it to me!" Yelled out the other, now crouching through the doorway which is obviously smaller than her. Before any of the guards could even enter the docking station you and the two Amethysts had already blasted off. An array of joyful chatter that came amongst the three of you. Strange,, you didn't actually expect them to accept your offer so quickly. Did- did they hate it there so much?

However it didn't matter now.. what mattered is that it was a time for a change.

||7,000 Years After The Great Escape||

It had been 7,000 years since you left Homeworld and 7,000 years since you came to your new home, Earth. Since the arrival you had done all you wanted to do, read every book. Learned everything you could about humans, animals, everything! You began to watch humanity evolve over time. It was a weird feeling but you adapted to it easily. You made so many friends over those very years but unfortunately the human life span doesn't last long, which resulted in many funerals. And those funerals you attended.

You had even found yourself-an identity, you were now content with who you are. As for the Crystal Gems. You and your two Amethyst friends parted ways with them. You never really liked Rose Quartz .. as .. you always felt there was something...odd going on with her. Now you resided in a lively place, known as Town Lagoon. Odd name, but you heard of worse. The house however, much like the temple in Beach City you too had one with a more modernised house attached to it. It's big and spacious made mostly with oak wood. You didn't entirely want to admit it but you had a thing for the cottage-core aesthetic. You had a lot of land too, fenced off to prevent nosy humans.

The Amethysts were doing well also! They run a little ice cream parlour downtown, note: you are their most valued customer! Now that's done with, let's continue.

You woke up with a start

The dream the night previous was all the same. Why did you have to remember so much!?

Oh well, guess it can't be helped. Despite your most obvious urge to spend the rest of the day in bed, you get up and make your way to the kitchen. While you didn't actually need to sleep or eat. You still chose to, mostly due to how much you liked doing it anyway.

You were halfway done with eating Mexican rice when-

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

You were snapped out of your daze when you heard somebody knocking on your door.. huh? Nobody's supposed to be over here unless they were invited..

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

It continued, maybe they got the wrong address? No.. that can't be right? You should probably ignore them so they'll go away..

That's when you heard it, unintelligible voices are heard from outside. And hot dang they are LOUD. How many people are there??

Alright, fine, you relent and make a beeline for the door. Swinging it open expecting a human when..

You look up and make eye contact with two white pinpricks.

"Hey"
