As Hope incarnate. Irys thought to herself that as long as she can bring Hope to the current era, nothing else matters. Such is the only path to the happiness she longs for.
Or so she thought.
Everything changes when she was met with a concept known as Chaos. She brought hope to her people while Chaos brought despair.
She decided to confront Chaos itself to stop the tortures her people is going through. Irys found out that the very concept of Chaos exists within a group called Council and she was ready to face all members of the Council if they were to hinder her goals. She wasn't sure if having an all-out brawl with the Speaker of Space, the Keeper of Nature, the Warden of Time, and the Guardian of Civilization would be a good idea. She wasn't even sure she would win against any of them. But, she was ready to do whatever it takes.
To her complete surprise. The Council seems uninterested in her dispute with their leader and they guide her to where the embodiment behind Chaos resides.
Upon reaching a door. Irys was blinded by a flash of light before fading away, restoring her vision. She was then greeted by a small girl with rat-like characteristics and she was upside down.
"Greetings, I am Hakos Baelz, you can call me Bae" The girl introduced herself "And I'm the very concept of Chaos".
Irys was stunned upon knowing that this small and cute girl in front of her is her enemy. Irys regain her composure and introduce herself
"My name is-"
"I know who you are ███████ Irys and I also know why you come here" Bae interrupted Irys and send her a grin, showing her razor-sharp teeth
"Will you comply with my request?" Irys asks, hoping that she would somehow agree
"Of course not, why would I?" Bae immediately decline Irys's wish
"Then I will have to remove you to save my people, even if I die trying" Irys enters her battle stance
Bae laughs at Irys recklessness "Let see how long you can last against me Nephilim" Bae's voice distorted before engaging in combat
The fight between the two ended rather fast. In just a couple of minutes, Irys was under Bae's mercy.
Dark red energy surrounds her body, pinning her to a wall and restricting her movement. She was helpless, in front of her archnemesis. She was ready to die, but soon she regretted knowing that she will be leaving her people behind, suffering in the depth of despair. She watches as Bae closes in on her step by step. She struggles to try and get out of her predicament.
Bae's left hand then landed next to Irys's shoulder and her right hand grabbed both sides of Irys's cheek, forcing Irys to stop and look at Bae's eyes. They stare at each other eyes for a while before Irys shakes her head away from Bae
"Get on with it, I would rather die than be humiliated by you" Irys glares at Bae
"Don't worry, I won't be killing you" With a flick of a finger, Irys was released from her bond. Her legs fail to support her body because it is still shaking in fear, thus making Irys drop to her knees. Bae laughs at Irys's predicament and offers a hand.
"You will regret this decision Hakos Baelz" Irys slaps Bae's hand away and stood up by herself. Bae's chuckles before wrapping her arms around Irys neck, forcing her lips onto Irys's lips.
Irys blushed, confused, not knowing how to react to Bae's current action. After a while, Bae parted away
"I don't think I will be regretting any time soon" Bae grins at Irys. And before Irys could regain composure, Bae's lips landed on Irys neck, successfully leaving a hickey behind.
Irys hissed at the pain, pushing Bae away "What did you do to me Hakos Baelz?" Irys face reddened from both embarrassment and anger
Bae laughs at Irys reaction but refuses to elaborate further "Sana is waiting outside to send you back, I will always be here if you want to meet again" Bae points to a door behind Irys before giving her a wink
Irys was going to continue questioning Bae, but instead, she sighs, knowing that she won't get anything out of this girl.
"I will be back for my people...Bae" Irys walks toward the door. Bae smiles
"I would rather you come back for me, but we will work on that" Irys clicks her tongue before disappearing from Bae's line of sight
Irys was greeted by Sana but Irys was too busy hiding her embarrassment that she accidentally ignore Sana and leave through a portal that Sana created to send Irys back.
"She seems to be in quite a hurry" Mumei accompanied by Kronii and Fauna appears behind Sana, comments on Irys's behavior "Will we see her again?"
Fauna pat Mumei head "She will return to this place soon. After all-"
"Bae has what she needed" Kronii finished Fauna's sentence.
