It's a habit for Diluc to wake up just before the sun is rising. His body will automatically going for a specific spot, where he put the coffee maker. For him, it's a must to have a cup of coffee after waking up, enjoying the dark bitter liquid before starting his day. Alone in his huge apartment room without a single soul as company. It's fine, it's always like this. It didn't bother him, never. He likes peace and quiet.
But today is an exception. He woke up by a soft and gentle melody caressing his ears, enough to lure him to find the source of it. It's still too early for him to wake up, but it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter anymore when he caught a beautiful sight in front of him. Long slender fingers playing on strings, bow moving in a fast and graceful pace. The usual lovelock which always drap on the left side, now being tied into a high ponytail. Even the balcony's curtains doing a great job by framing the beauty.
Mesmerized by the performance, he unconsciously step closer, which unfortunately startled the beauty in mentioned.
"Did I wake you? Uh, I'm sorry. I'll leave if I make you uncomfortable. Ah... It's just my first week as your roommate and Iー"
The single starry eye looking at him in panic and shame. Oh, how he hates it, being the reason for such reaction. Instinctively, his hand shot to grasp the latter's arm, firm but gentle.

Diluc never regret to have a roommate after he watches how gorgeously stunning Kaeya's smiling face is.
