Late afternoon light spilled through the window, bathing the mostly empty classroom in a shower of gold and illuminating the only remaining member inside, Ted, it a faint halo as she sat there at her desk playing on her switch. She let out a soft sigh waiting for a certain someone to arrive. She heard the faint approaching of footsteps and immediately perked towards the door. Only to be disappointed by who stood in the doorway,

“The fuck are you still doing here dipshit?” Katsuki Bakugou, the most ‘pleasant’ member of her class. He spoke as kindly as ever. “Everyone’s already fucking left, you stuck hibernating here or some shit?” He grunted while packing up his things.

"Obviously I'm not, since you're here, now shut the fuck up and go, I'm busy." She replied coolly, not minding the blonde’s temper much as she was pretty used to it.

“Eh?! Busy doing what exactly?” He replied to which she just gestured to her switch.

“Playing, obviously. Though it’s none of your business- hey!” She cried out, swiping at the air, narrowly missing the chance to grab it back as the temperamental blonde snatched the switch out of her hands.

“You fucking baby, you’re playing goddamn animal crossing of all things?” He scoffed as he eyed the screen with mild amusement.

“Hey! What the hell, give it back!” She insisted angrily as she bolted up from her desk and tried to snatch it, though the blonde was keeping it just out of her reach.

“And plenty of people play Animal Crossing, it’s a great game!” He laughed at her response, continuing to hold it out of her reach.

“Name one damn extra who thinks it’s good?” He challenged, glancing up at her with a smirk, “Shinsou does.” she replied easily though for some reason this seemed to set him off.

“The fucking insomniac?! Guess that damn emo needs some cutesy shit to stay fucking sane, or else he’d probably run himself rugged on all the goddamn angst.” he chuckled like the bully he was.

“Shut up, my brain cells melt every time we talk, now give it back, I need to meet up with someone and can’t keep wasting my time here with you.” she sighed, finally able to take back her switch in his moment of surprise.

“Eh?! What sort of sorry ass loser would ever want to go on a fucking date with you?” He taunted, whipping back to face her and Ted’s face burned with shame. Why’d he have to be such an ass all of the time, it wasn’t even a date!

“You talking about me?” A familiar voice purred and her eyes lit up.

“Shinsou! Hey!” She called out to him with a smile as Bakugou just glared at the intruder.

"Yep, let's go you big [chungus], I don't have all day. I have training to do with Aizawa after we're finished playing." he said and he leaned nonchalantly against the frame of the doorway, his school bag slung over his shoulder and his eyes fixed on her as she packed up her things.

Bakugou stood back glaring half heartedly at her back, his brain racing as he opened his mouth to say something only to clamp his mouth shut the second after, and repeating. It was only when her heavy steps turned his attention back to her that he noticed she was walking towards Shinsou’s direction. Without thinking, he reached out and snatched her hand, pulling her somewhat back.

"The hell, dude? You won't let me leave now??"
Ted complained, using her other hand to weakly swat at the blonde’s bigger hand, now twisting her body to look up at the boy to give him a somewhat annoyed glare. Shinsou pushes off the wall to otherwise do the same.

"What's the meaning of this, Bakugou? Trying to pick a fight..?”

His words and knowing glare only proved to provoke Bakugou’s aggravation, his grip on Ted’s hand only tightened as he tugged her slightly - as if trying to gesture her to get behind him; the only response he received from her was a wild eyed look before he clicked his tongue in annoyance and lightly pinched the inside of her palm, causing her to softly yelp.

"Hah?! Don't you fucking play tough on me, bastard! You can't go on a date with Teddy right here!"

Almost immediately, the pale skin of Shinsou’s face began to flush as he uncharacteristically let his eyes wander; the word ‘date’ hardly came to mind but he was ashamed to say it got him nervous to admit it was the closest to what they were doing. “A date..? It’s—“ A sliver of a smile began to appear on his face, but before he could finish the sentence Ted managed to slip out Bakugou’s grip with an even redder face.

"I told you it's not a date, jerk! We're just going to play animal crossing together! Gosh!"

Half-heartedly, the purple haired boy shrugged his shoulders and stepped closer to the shorter girl, seeing that she had moved towards him, before flicking his cat-like eyes towards the explosive teen in front of them before addressing him.

"Yeah, it's not a date, you moron. We're just going to have a good time together. What - jealous 'cause you don't have any friends - is that it?”

That seemed to be enough to tick him off because of the tiny sparks that emitted from both his palms in response from Shinsou’s petty comment, his nostrils heavily fuming like a bull. “What the hell?! Jealous?? You’re just pulling shit outta your at this point, why the hell would I care about things like that?” Bakugou paused briefly to calm down, his ruby eyes drifting to his shoes for several seconds before flashing the two a glare that was an odd mixture of smugness and embarrassment.
“Besides… I have way more friends than either of you combined; I just don’t feel like hangin’ out with any of them coz they’re all extras!”

“What the hell?” Shinsou raised his brow at him skeptically, “Are you hearing yourself? That made no se—“

He was cut off by Teddy grabbing his forearm and dragging him towards the exit, she turned her head back towards an owl eyed Bakugou and waved at him. “See ya Bakugou!” Her arm casually hooked through Shinsou’s as they walked out of the classroom. It wasn’t too clear on how they had been talking, but apparently it was quite a while as the halls were clear leaving just the two of them to their lonesome, or until -

“HEY!”

"Oh. My. Gosh. What do you want?”

"I'll join you.”

“You’ll do what now?”

“Are you hard of hearing? I said I’ll join you. And don’t you even think of refusing me, we both know how stupidly polite you are and shit. I mean you even let freaks just insomniac here into your house. So just say yes and get it over with already.” The stink eye from Ted didn’t go unnoticed as Bakugou immediately locked eyes with her and glared back, though it only last several seconds before they looked away, as if silently making truce.

Though it wasn’t the same for Shinsou, who fired back. "The hell? So you're taking advantage of her, now? Let’s go Ted, we don’t have time for this—“ But yet again, he was cut off by the girl tugging the sleeve of his shirt just as he was attempting to walk away, pulling him slightly backwards and back towards her side.

“Alright, fine.”

“Wait.. What?”

Shinsou almost choked on his spit as stared at the side of her face, trying to find a trace of doubt or any sign to indicate that she was lying or joking. But to his agony, she wasn’t. “Are you out of your mind??” The look he was giving her right now clearly suggested that she was, however as Ted turned to look at him she purely shrugged her shoulders and offered him a meek smile in consolation.

"If he wants to join us, why not. It's lonely just with my cats anyway."

Ted adjusted her bag on her shoulders and moved to walk in between the two boys, almost zoning out their voices which was almost impossible with Bakugou’s booming voice.

“HA! In your face jackass!!”

"Pah, whatever. I bet you don’t even have a switch.”

"Damn it, yes I do! Let’s stop by my house first, my switch is probably better than yours.”

After they retrieve Bakugou’s switch, they finally head over to Ted’s house and get themselves comfortable. Shinsou, having likely been there at least once before, was the first to make his way towards the couch. Whereas the blonde stood close by the door for about a minute before the Shinsou called him out like a brat he was. Fighting the urge to bark at him, he simply kicked his shoes roughly against the wall and sat on the far off corner of the couch, waiting for Ted to return from feeding her demons—ahem—cats. Once she did, she began to connect her switch to TV.

And of course, she had to bring up her cats, so she did. With a gushing grin she turned to the two boys, “Aren’t they the cutest?!”

And of course, she had to bring up her cats, so she did. With a gushing grin she turned to the two boys, “Aren’t they the cutest?!” One of her said cats was on the couch between her and Shinsou, nuzzling her hip and vibrating affectionately. The cat lover to her left readily agreed with his eyes glued to the cat, somewhat timidly reaching out to stroke a finger against the feline's ears. He mumbled a quiet, “They’re adorable,” but it was drowned out by a pesky comment by the oh so degenerate Bakugou to Ted’s right side.

“Eh, I’ve seen cuter.” It was followed by him slumping backwards on the couch as he eyed the second, considerably smaller cat that appeared by his ankle and began to claw at his pants. Bakugou lightly yanked his leg upwards and adjusted himself to sit with leg draped over the over. It wasn’t until he had done so that he finally noticed the death stare Teddy was giving him, and just as she was preparing to open her mouth to scold him he beat her to it. “Look— can we just get this over with? What are we even playing again?”

Teddy laughed at him and relaxed, turning her attention back to the TV screen before holding out her switch to him with a playful smirk. “Animal Crossing.”
“Wait— The hell?!”
“Didn’t she already tell you this before we got here? Were you just not paying any attention or something?”
“I didn’t think she was actually serious! Who the hell plays Animal Crossing anyway?!”

Shinsou rolled his eyes but didn’t even bother to respond, or rather, didn’t get the chance to as the blonde was still driven on his rant to give him or Ted, for that matter, a chance to speak. So he sighed heavily and slouched forward with his switch in his hands settling on his lap.

“What the hell are you even supposed to do?? You literally only like.. sell shit and do lame ass designs, it’s boring as fuck.”

“Wait..” Teddy sat up straight and laid her switch down, a big devious grin playing on her face as she turned to Bakugou. “You sound pretty familiar to the game, Bakugou. Do you perhaps.. Play Animal Crossing too?”

Next to her Shinsou looked over her head to take a nosy peek at the blonde’s face, almost getting smug at finding out this new piece of information, however he remained cold face as per usual but couldn’t help but to curiously comment at the fun as well. “She’s got a point. Do you?” Both of them are staring at the usual explosive boy waiting for him to either deny it or curse them, or simultaneously do both. However, what they didn’t expect was silence. Awkward silence for at least thirty seconds before Bakugou’s infamous glare was back and redirected towards them again. Swallowing his pride, he admitted to playing the game shockingly before either of them even started, his cheeks a light pink hue and met the very tip of his ears, and his glare hardening according to their reactions.

“That’s insane! I can’t believe you have more experience than me at this game! I like.. waste my whole life playing video games!”

Her body dramatically slumped sideways against his, a groan escaping her lips as she thought of the differences in skills between them and momentarily became depressed. Bakugou only mumbled but didn’t respond, yet it provoked a response from Shinsou who scoffed lazily,
“Wow what a loser, can’t even confess.”
At that, Bakugou nearly dropped his switch on the floor. His eyes flickered to Ted and then back to Shinsou, almost like a little boy who was caught with his hand in the cookie jar. If his face wasn’t red before, it was burning up now.

“WHAT?? C-CONFESS WHAT??”

“I’m referring to the game, damn, you need to chill.. It’s not like—“ Shinsou held back a laugh, “I was talking about an actual confession.. Unless, that’s what you were thinking? That’d be a ballsy move, even for you.. you’d get rejected anyway.” Shinsou rushed the last part, taking a peek at Teddy from the corner of his eye briefly turning back to his switch.

“OKAY! So Bakugou, how far into the game are you? Can you help me decorate my island? I need to get K. K.’ Before the two can get further into their discussion, Ted jumped in and pulled the boys back into the game. She tried to sweetly coax him in, only for him to be a brat and push her hand away with a flat “No”.
“Fine then.. Shinsou, want to hel-“
As if that was the trigger, he returned—with a groan and a pout—and roughly nudged her thigh with his switch.
“OH MY GOD. FINE, I’LL HELP YOU!”

After playing Animal Crossing for several hours it came to Ted’s attention how late it has gotten, as she peered over at the windows and it has already gotten dark. A yawn subconsciously escaped her lips at this realization as she stretched her free arm over head, the hand hold switch laid comfortably on her lap and she leaned glancing at both the sitting at either side of her. “I can’t believe we’ve been playing Animal Crossing all day. It’s so late now you guys.”
“Yeah no shit.”
Shinsou glared exhaustedly over at Bakugou but at this late in the game even he couldn’t find in him to argue, so he and Ted both exchanged a shrug at the remark and resumed to clean up everything.

“Are you guys hungry?” Once the game and switch was put away Ted figured it was only the polite thing to do to offer guests something to eat after inviting them over after so many hours without any food, no doubt they must’ve been hungry. She kind of felt guilty not having offered them anything when they first arrived, but then again.. she wasn’t necessarily a cook, sure— she could bake things and could probably cook the very basic meals, but nothing so grandiose that she’d be proud to serve two boys she was particularly somewhat maybe kinda interested in. But she couldn’t very well order a pizza, that would look so lame. The best thing to do was to be honest and give her best—

“About damn time you offered. I’m starving!”

“A bit, now that you’ve asked.”

Oh boy..

“Alright, sooo- I’m not the best at this whole cooking.. thing. So if you could tell me what you want or how you like it specifically, that’d help a lot. Or even just being there like—“

“OH MY GOD,” Her rambling was cut short by Bakugou’s exasperated sigh as he shoved his switch somewhere on the couch before pushing himself up to stand in front of her. “Don’t you know how to do anything? God.. guess I’ll help you. But don’t get used to it!” With no room for complaints whatsoever, he grabbed her hand and dragged her to the kitchen.

Ignoring Shinsou’s skeptical face watching their disappearing figures.

Honestly he wanted to be useful as well, but he wasn’t a cook by any means either, and there was no way he was going to make a fool of himself in front of Ted by burning the meal in the process. So he’ll just leave it in the hands of Bakugou in this one case, and so he pulled out his phone and scrolled through the contact list until he found Aizawa, hesitating for a moment before calling.

“Um? What are you doing? How many eggs have you put in?”

“Uhhh..4?.. I think??”

“You think?? There’s six yolks in there! I told you to only put in 3!” Bakugou clicked his tongue as he scooped up the excess egg yolks with a spoon, shooting the shorter girl a heated girl who offered him a meek grin.

“I forgot!!” She wiped her hands on her apron as she watched him work around her kitchen, so far they had prepared a whole pot of rice and side salad, and were currently working on the breaded baked chicken. She had to be honest though and give credit where it’s due; Bakugou was doing all the work and giving all the instructions, all she was really doing was passing the ingredients and breaking the eggs.

“Is it finished yet??”

“Not yet. Stop standing so close to the oven!”

“It smells pretty good in here, you guys. With Bakugou here, I was sure he would’ve exploded the kitchen.”

“Shinsou, one more word from you I swear to god—“

“GUYS ITS DONE!”
