Chapter Text
Midoriya’s feet dragged against the concrete winding through the park, his mind stilling running around it circles, trying to block out the yells of his classmates echoing around his mind. Seriously, can’t they keep quiet for once in their sorry lives and actually at least try to get good grades and listen in class? Then again, the teachers didn’t really care, I mean I wouldn’t either on that type of salary. And to make his day even worse, he forgot his music as well. Just great.
His thoughts were interrupted when a blinking red led caught his attention in his peripheral vision. 'Well, this is how I die I guess, just call be a blonde bimbo bitch from a horror movie and call it a day.' He thought to himself, scoffing at his own stupidness, when he started to walk towards the suspicious light. As he neared closer with light footsteps, his eyes widened as a large metal device came into his view. His heart beat quickened as he started to turn around to run and scream. But everything went black before he could.
--------
Lights pierced his vision as his eyelids drooped open and closed. 'Where am I? What happened to walking home? Is this a hospital, it looks more like a fancy sick bay?' Midoriya thought to himself as his eyes adjusted to the bright lights above him. His ears perked up when he heard quiet whispers behind a thin looking curtain. But Midoriya couldn’t really hear them that well, so he just lent back in his bed.
Midoriya tried to bring a hand to his face to rub the drowsiness off of himself but his wrists were pulled back by… handcuffs? “What is going on?” Izuku thought aloud. A little too loud apparently because is sparked the attention of the voices on the other side of the curtain. Said curtain was pulled back to reveal a very short, old woman and a scruffy man.
'Now those are some eyebags, damnnnn. And what the hell is that cane thing? Is she supposed to be cosplaying some weird comic book character or something?' Midoriya thought with confusion clearly shown in his scrunched-up brow. The taller of the two seemed to notice his confusion, since he took a step forward, closer to the bed.
“Don’t look so confused, you’re the one who interrupted my lesson. Now I have twenty students asking too many questions for the start of the day” the man said in a tired and mono-tone voice. “Um, w-what? I have no idea what you are talking about” Midoriya managed to stumble out after a few seconds of intense eye contact.
The older man didn’t seem to like this answer, as he sighed heavily, reaching up a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose in annoyance. “Look kid I don’t have time for this, are you a villain or not, I need to know so that I can continue napping.”
“Villain? What am I, wringing my hands together, laughing manically, while planning on taking over the tri-state area? Oooohh, ok, alright, bring the cameras out, you got me, I was convinced there for a second, ha ha, very clever thing you’ve got running here” Midoriya said sarcastically rattling the cuffs on his wrists as he tried to indicate to get them off and let him go. This was some weird elaborate prank he didn’t want to be apart of. He just wants to go home.
“Prank? Kid you’re at UA. You’re the one that showed seemingly out of nowhere nowhere. Do you have some sort of teleportation quirk or maybe you’re apart of the League of Villains?” the man said, obviously running out of patience. “UA? League of Villains? I have no idea what your on about weirdo, but I just want to go home and do some homework and not have to deal with this bullshit. So if you wouldn’t mind undoing these cuffs, that would be greatly appreciated” Midoriya said with an arrogant smile morphed with sass he didn’t bother hiding.
A groan escaped the lips of the man as he turned around and addressed someone behind him that Izuku didn’t seem to notice “Is that true Tsukauchi? Because I highly doubt it”
“My quirk tells me the boy is telling the truth, he has no idea what UA is or the League of Villains” the man stated with confusion. This earned concerned and doubtful glances from both the tall guy and the short woman.
Quirks? What are these people on? Izuku thought as he leant back into his bed, closing his eyes for a moment to think. “Alright kid, sit up we are going to be asking you a few questions to try and understand this situation a little better” The rough-looking man stated with a groan.
“First Question, what’s your name?” (Tsukauchi))
“Jo” (Izuku)
“Joe?” Tsukauchi asked with a quirked brow.
“Jo Mama!” Izuku shouted with a loud laugh, cocking his head back.
He could hear the adults groan in either exhaustion or confusion. He couldn't really tell. But what peaked his attention was the small giggle from his left. He turned his head over to the side to get a better view of the person.
“Toshi! Man, they got you too? I honestly have no idea how they pulled this off but this is some elaborate prank shit I do not want to be apart of, I need to go home and be under my weighted blanket right now” Izuku mused with a sparkle in his eyes from seeing his best friend.
“Samee. But to be honest I have no idea what’s going on either, I just woke up” Hitoshi responded to his energetic friend slowly sitting up.
“Yeah all I was doing was walking home and then I saw this weird thing in the bush and boom, I’m here. What ever is going on here is cool and all but it is currently not passing the vibe check, for me” Izuku said with a small head shake to exaggerate his point of not passing the vibe check.
Hitoshi went to speak up again, but was interrupted by the man in the trench coat -Tsukauchi was it? - “Sorry to interrupt boys, but I think I am not the only lost one here, what did you say happened, green haired kid?”
Izuku turned his head towards the man with hesitance, he really didn’t want to deal with this. “I said I was walking home and saw this machine in the bush, with a red blinking light and then everything went black” Izuku supplied with obvious attitude in his voice.
“Omg, you white, bimbo bitch, have you learnt nothing from horror movie? Why did you go towards it?” Hitoshi said with snark laced in his voice and a small laugh. “That’s legit what I was thinking when I was walking towards it” Izuku said with a smile, giggling at his own stupidity.
A cough broke up their laughter. “Yes, yes very funny, but I need to know how you two got here, what’s your story kid?” the scruffy man asked quirking his head towards Toshi. “Well, I was trying to catch up to Zu, over here, because he apparently forgot we were walking home together today and the everything went black” Hitoshi stated , shooting a glare towards Midoriya. “Oof, sorry Toshi” Midoriya said, which received a small “it’s alright dude” from Hitoshi, but a very confused “What?” mumbled underneath the tall man’s breath.
“Alright they obviously don’t know what is going on and have no hostile attention towards us or the students, so I suggest undoing their handcuffs now” the old lady offered is a faithful attempt to keep the peace between the teens and the very tired man.
“Ugh fine, but I am keeping a very close eye on them” Aizawa stated with a tired glare pointed towards the two teens. “No need to worry Aizawa, we have a very strong security, to keep them in check” a mouse like creature added, popping up from the man’s scarf. This led to the now un-handcuffed boys to jump in fright at the sight.
“AAAHHHH!!” both boys screamed in unison.
“WHAT THE FUCK?! THAT FUCKING CHIMERA, MOUSE, BEAR THINGY IS FUCKING TALKING! WHAT IN THE FUCKITY-FUCK IS GOING ON HERE?!” Izuku shouted, scrambling towards the other’s bed in a feeble attempt to get away from the animal. His arms wrapping hastily around the other, blocking himself from the view of the adults.
“Not to worry children, I am the principal of this fine establishment you are in, called UA. My name is Nezu, nice to meet you both” the creature supplied, that did nothing but making the boys more frightened. “Now, Tsukauchi, could you please tell us if these boys were telling the truth in their stories they just supplied us?” the bear(?) type thing asked calmly.
“Erm, uh, yeah, yes they were telling the truth Nezu” the man answered, slowly recovering his composure after the outbursts of one of the boys. “Hmm, interesting. Oh! Boys sorry, I forgot to mention that Tsukauchi here has a truth telling quirk, he came to assist us in figuring out were you both came from and whether you propose a threat to us or not” Nezu explained to the boys, now noticing their confused glances towards each other.
Both boys looked at each other for a second, before looking towards the talking animal and asking “Quirks?” as Hitoshi tried to untangle his best friend’s arms from around him. This seemed to get a rather weird response from the grown-ups. One gasping and all their eyes widening.
“Do… you not know, what a quirk is?” the detective asked cautiously. Which intern lead for even more sass. “What do you mean quirks as in all the ‘qUiRkY’ pick me girls?” Shinsou scoffed with a small smirk knowing that’s not what they meant. The adults in the room seemed to be very confused by his comment Aizawa groaning in the amount of time this conversation is taking away from his sleeping bag.
“Quirks are like superpowers, do you know what those are?” the nurse asked sweetly, no malice or sarcasm present in her voice. The boys nodded slowly, not quite sure what’s going on. There response led to the sweet old lady explaining almost everything about the new world they seemed to be in.
--------
“What in the actual fucknuckles?” Midoriya asked with a disbelieving look on his face after the explanation. “What he said” Shinsou added, also very unsure of the situation they were in.
