Tsubaki wanted to just lay with Maka on the couch but the girl didn't even have enough strength to pull herself up from the counter. She felt bad but when Maka came into the kitchen to see her all over the counter, the shorter girl understood.
"I'm sure the counter isn't very comfortable." She softly spoke, not minding that the taller girl was just sprawled out on it.
"It's not. Can you help me?" Tsubaki begged and Maka was right beside the girl in three seconds. Maka helped the girl pull herself up from the counter.
"Long day?" She softly acquired. Tsubaki smiled tiredly at the girl.
"Yeah. Black Star was more demanding today." Tsubaki tells Maka, who frowned at the update about one of her best friends. I have warned him about being so demanding of Tsubaki. She thought, wondering if she could just punch him for good measure during the next warning. "Please don't hit him." Tsubaki seemed to have noticed where her girlfriend's train of thought was heading to and Maka huffed a little bit.
"Not even a teensy tiny hit?" She innocently asked.
"You wouldn't be able to give a teensy tiny hit." Tsubaki gently snarked and Maka giggled at her.
"You're right about that." She spoke as she smiled at Tsubaki. Once Maka had helped the girl onto the couch, Tsubaki placed her head in Maka's lap. "You can just relax here for the night." Maka reassures Tsubaki, telling the girl that she didn't have to rush to leave.
"Thank you, Maka." Tsubaki curled up in the girl's lap, now assured that she could just rest with Maka being there with her.
