Work Text:
Korekiyo Shinguji was in his room, reading a book, not really doing anything much other than that. The silence in the room, besides the ticking clock, was nice and calming to someone like the anthropologist. Though it could-and it definitely-get boring. Like, really boring. But this is better than listening to the yelling he could hear if Shinguji was in his classroom. Whatever deity in the sky knows that Class 79 was a class from hell.
Shinguji sometimes wonders why his class couldn't be more like Hagakure's? It was said to be one of the calmest despite having an array of different personalities. But at least it wasn't Hinata's class. They can say that for sure.
Speaking of Hinata, someone busts into Shinguji's room, making the anthropologist jump in place. Like stated before, the one at the door was Hinata. The older Boy's face was red, Shinguji couldn't tell if he was blushing or if he just ran a thousand miles just to get here. Hinata closed the door behind him, speed walking towards Shinguji and gently grabbing his face.
"You're so homosexual it's becoming radioactive!" Hinata exclaimed, genuinely sounding worried. It took a second to properly process what was said.
...
"What?" Shinguji replied, very confused, obviously. Who comes into a room yelling about homosexuality? Momota, that's who, but that's besides the point.
Hinata huffed in frustration, pulling Shinguji a little closer, stumbling over his words seemingly trying to find the words to explain this situation.
"Wh..Uh..Well..UGH! Look-If you become too radioactive it'll become dangerous! You have to transfer some to another person to save your life!" Hinata "tried" to explain. Whatever the older boy was spouting didn't make sense, how could it? Buuut...the anthropologist notices the other's face heating up more.
'Could this be..? No, it couldn't..'
Shinguji has started to realize what this may be about, but he'll have to wait a bit more.
"Ok...How do I 'transfer my radioactivity'?" The taller of the two asked, catching how the one holding his face slightly tense up. Hinata didn't say anything, only putting the end of his thumbs against the beginning of Shinguji's mask, slowly pulling it down as his face got closer.
'Yep..It's definitely what I thought this was..'
Their lips connected. It made Shinguji's stomach flutter with butterflies when he felt Hinata's soft lips against his own, even leaning into the other's touch and the kiss. They had stayed like that for a good 5-8 seconds before Hinata abruptly pulled away, looking very flustered. His face was flushed red, refusing to look Shinguji in the eye.
"There..now you won't die.." The Ultimate Hope mumbled softly.
Shinguji smiled, tilting his head slightly to the side, raising an eyebrow.
"Was that an excuse to kiss me without asking?" He just had to ask, wanting to know the answer.
"No! It wasn't!" Hinata exclaims, squishing Shinguji's face a bit, blushing harder than should be considered normal. The anthropologist smirked, chuckling softly, taking Hinata's wrist into his own hands.
"Don't lie to me, dear."
"I'm not-Ugh..!..Maybe..it was..Happy?" How surprising, Hinata not being stubborn and caving quickly? Must be a miracle.
"Very happy."
Shinguji pulled Hinata into another, more passionate, kiss.
